SIX

Annalise stood at the front center of the classroom writing on the chalkboard. The sound it made caused her daughter to scrunch her face. Annora had always had sensitive ears and the chalk wasn't doing it for her.

"Can you trust you're character witness on the stand?" She finished off her writing turning around to face the class while pointing the chalk at them. "That is one of the biggest dilemmas as a defense attorney. Your character witness is too positive, the jury feels manipulated. Too honest, and you shot your case in the foot."

Annora was jotting down notes on everything she was saying. Even after the talk they had last night there was a small part in her that still wanted to impress her. Though she only thought of it as a parent-child thing. "Which is why it all comes down to pretrial prep. The challenge is in establishing your witness's credibility. You have to show them being real, even critical of your client."

Annalise walked around the room making multiple hand gestures. Making eye contact with multiple students and not bothering the ones who weren't paying attention. "Be as punishing as possible. No topic is off-limits." She stopped in her steps staring at the class.

"Team. I'd like you to meet my daughter, Eloise." The students plus Bonnie looked up at the voice seeing Max standing there with a blonde girl in a coral dress. "She's fresh off the plane from Standford." Eloise turned at smirked at her father before letting her eyes wander the students.

Annora felt off with her as if she gave off bad energy. "She dropped everything the minute we said we needed her." Max crossed his arms letting his daughter speak after him. He had an almost proud look upon his features. "I'm getting a master's in poetry. There's nothing much to drop." Her voice sounded bored and out of place.

Connor gave a short smile holding the file on his forearm. As his daughter stared at Connor, Max leaned over to her ear nodding to Wes. "Ellie, he's the one I mentioned in the car." She scowled at her father feeling embarrassed. "Dad." Max shrugged his shoulders glancing between the two of them. "Think of the beautiful babies you two would make." Wes' eyes widened as he brought his gaze to Annora who only smirked at him.

They sat Eloise down in a chair within the middle of the room. The others and Max sat at the desk by the window in front of her. Bonnie walked around the desk as she questioned the young girl for a prep trial. "He's your father. Are we really supposed to believe that you wouldn't lie for him on the stand?"

The young girl took a sharp breath fiddling with her fingers. "I love my father, obviously, but I also love Marjorie. If my father hurt her, I'd insist you give him the death penalty." Max smiled turning his head to Bonnie who stood next to Annora who was also jotting down more notes. "See? Pretty and smart."

Bonnie raised her voice walking closer to his daughter. "What about when he sent you to the mental institution? He told you-you were crazy, right?" Eloise gritted her teeth almost biting back at Bonnie. "I was fifteen and anorexic, just like every other girl at my private school. And I got better." Bonnie gave no room for her to say anything else walking closer to the younger girl. "Because you were able to get away from his bad parenting?"

The girl raised her voice staring into Bonnie's wide eyes. "He wasn't a bad parent. He's odd, yes, eccentric, but it's just a defense mechanism." The girl's eyes flicked before they suddenly turned dark as well as her tone.

"His parents died when he was a child. His first wife, my birth mother, died in a car accident when I was three. That changes you. Makes you scared of losing people. That's why he clung to Majorie and me. We were his entire world."

In the courtroom, Eloise was in the stand benign questioned by Annalise. "Which is how I know there's no way he could have hurt her. I get that's hard to believe coming from me, but it's the truth." Annalise who had her arms crossed turned about to the two men and woman who sat behind her. "Your witness."

She walked away the sound of her heels clicking on the floor. The woman stood in her seat before speaking. "Your father met Marjorie after your first mother died in Switzerland. Is that correct?" Eloise answered with a simple yes. "What if I told you that was a lie? That your father and Marjorie were having an affair." Annalise turned and stared at Bonnie who sat on the other side of Max. "No, my mother died before they met."

"In a car accident. Or at least that's what your father told you." Annalise suddenly spoke up speaking to the judge. "Your honor is the prosecutor wants to testify, swear her in." The woman made her way forward now holding a file in her right hand. "The state would like to introduce the certified Swiss death report for Mr. St, Vincent's first wife, Elizabeth Sims. It's been translated so Ms. St. Vincent can read it for the jury."

She opened the file handing it to Eloise. "'Elizabeth Sims died at age twenty-eight from a deeply incised would," Her eyes churned to confusion glancing up from the papers. ", of the upper neck in the manner of homicide." The crowd whispered back and forth creating a hush sound around the courtroom. "And the murder weapon?"

"A hunting knife." Frank rubbed his face as he sat next to Annora who sighed deeply. Wes brought his eyes to his pants while the room gasped. Annora rubbed Frank's arm sensing his frustration now on the case. Annalise stared, with a straight look at Max who didn't glance at her. Eloise looked up from the paper and her eye burned into her father's.

"Stuart Sims was put on trial in Glattbrugg, Switzerland, for the murder of his wife, Elizabeth. The prosecution argued his motive was to run away with his mistress, Marjorie Trask, but Stuart was found not guilty." Bonnie read aloud the files to Annalise while the Keating Six and Frank followed behind them.

"The following year, he created a new identity for him and his daughter as Max and Eloise St. Vincent, then settled in Philadelphia with Marjorie got a fresh fake start." Bonnie glanced at Annalise as she finished the few sentences. Annalise continued walking with her arms crossed, the words running through her head. "Charming."

Down the hall, Max was speaking with his emotional daughter. "I was trying to protect you." Eloise turned around with tear streaks down her face accompanied by a red nose. "By lying to me about my entire life?"

The two stopped in the middle of the hallway, his daughter sending him glares as he spoke. "How do you tell a young girl her mother's been butchered to death? What good would that do?" The students, Frank, Bonnie, and Annalise, plus others in the same hall, watched the scene unfold. "Because you did it, right? And now Marjorie, too?" Max held his hand up to stop her accusations before slowly lowering it.

"Don't be ridiculous." His tone of voice was particularly calm in his situation. "You killed the both of them. You're a murderer and a liar." "Ellie, please." She backed up as he reached his hand out, "Do not come near me. I hope the jury decides to kill you." She turned away walking as her heels sounded against the floor.

Asher who still trained his eyes on her spoke up with the group. "I kind of agree with her, yo." Annora zoned out as she watched her mother walk up to the now, Stuart. She was trying to come up with things in her head about the case but it all was only making her brain scrambled.

Annora was brought back when Annalise turned around towards the group, giving her daughter a short gaze of concern as she saw her blanked-out face. "Frank, find out how the prosecution knew about Max's first trial. Whoever slipped the information could be a possible suspect."

Frank gave no second thought as he always obeyed her orders, he turned around with a small determined look. "On it." As he began to walk Annalise spoke to the rest of the group. "And the rest of you, prove I wasn't wrong to hire you." Annora was confused as she thought back to their conversation last night, she didn't know if her mother was only talking to the five or her as well.

She was so very lost in her head she accidentally stepped back into Wes who placed his arm around her waist settling his hand on her stomach. He turned and gave her a gaze of worry though his gaze was also accompanied by a smile.

The students were all in the Keating study searching through many files. Annora had just entered the room from speaking with her mother on today's incident. "Oliver?" Michaela turned and smirked at Connor who was taking the phone from his ear.

"Boyfriend drama?" He rolled his eyes at her tone of voice seeing Annora enter the room. "I don't do boyfriends." Asher who was lying quite comfortably on the love seat had a bright smile until realization hit him and the smile slowly faded into confusion. "Wait, you're gay?"

Connor huffed out a chuckle looking at Asher, "Bi, just prefer guys." Sam strutted into the room giving his 'daughter' a quick hug and kiss on the head, "Ann, your mom in there?" He nodded towards his wife's office to which Annora gave him a small, 'yes'.

Annalise opened the door holding stapled papers in hand. "Hey, I didn't hear you come home." Her voice was soft as she spoke keeping her eyes trained on her husband. "Hey, uh, I just walked in." Annalise hammed the papers to Bonnie who took them with a smile. "Rework this motion to suppress." Annalise gave her husband a look then walked into her office closing the door behind her.

Annora who was now sat by Michaela spoke with furrowed brows and a quiet tone, "Are you guys on bad terms?" At the thought of it, she grew sad as she loved her dad dearly, even if he wasn't her true father. "No." His voice was gruff as if he grew angered by her question and made his way into Annalise's office.

Wes stood staring at the door as he thought about what he saw in that room previous nights ago. Soon they heard loud voices in the room and all of the students looked to Annora who covered her ears with her shoulder and palm whilst she flipped through a file.

Bonnie turned back to them giving sharp looks across the room. "Do your work." A minute later Frank walked into the room his eyes first landing on Annora who was slowly moving her hand from her ear.

He gave Bonnie a look of confusion gesturing to the girl. When he was given no reply he knocked on the door to Annalise's office waiting some seconds until she spoke up. Frank then entered the room seeing Sam and Annalise's bodies close together.

He held up a file while he closed the door, serious features accompanying his face. "You need to see this." Sam backed away with a tight lip smile, "I'll leave you guys to it." He then left the office as Frank set down the file on Annalise's desk.

Annalise took her workers and interns to Max's home leading them into his bedroom. "There's only one way to win this case. We prove that Max, even if he did kill his first wife, didn't kill Marjorie. Use this room, look for clues that we missed, evidence that contradicts just get inside the murderer's head."

Annora gave no other thought simply following her mother's orders. She held a file in her hand that talked about the crime scene and sole photos of marked evidence. Connor sat on the edge of the bed looking around at the other students. "We can swipe the room for DNA again and see if we can find any other suspects." Annalise leaned forward towards him scared that she might lose the case. "We already ran more tests. Did you not fully read up on the case?"

Annora had never seen her mother so desperate to win a case before it was like she was trying every which way. Asher pointed at Annalise an 'idea' filling his head, "Let's put Max on the stand and have him cry like a little baby." Annalise didn't speak on his input not bothering besides sending him a simple look.

At the doorway of the room, Frank stood observed Annora as she studied the room.
He let his eyes take in every detail of her face before turning seeing Bonnie staring deeply at him from the corner of his eye.

Michaela who was still standing in her starting position had spoken, breaking the silence. "Argue the matrix defense." Wes added to her idea, "Sleep waking defense." "Battered husband syndrome." "Bipolar mood swings." Laurel stood still staring at the stains of blood covering the mattress and wall.

Annora looked deeply at the animal head hung on his wall. "Max is a hunter." Her voice was soft and quiet yet catching the attention of her mother. Asher rolled his eyes at her turning his back to her, "Yeah, genius. I think the heads on the wall make that pretty obvious."

Annora sighed as she turned back around throwing his hands about. "No. He's a hunter he kn-" She was interrupted as Laurel began to catch on speaking above the young Keating. "Knows how to kill," Laurel smirked to herself before glancing at Annora who was beside her. Annora looked away from her and down to her shoes.

Max was sat in the stand inside the courthouse with Annalise questioning him. "You've been hunting for how many years, Mr. St. Vincent?" He smugly shrugged his shoulders with a simpleton look gracing his face. "Oh, practically my whole life."

Annalise began to walk as she spoke, "So, you're experienced at slaughtering animals, then?" She stopped walking as she got closer to her table. Prosecutor Blair was sending her looks the entire time she spoke. "Yes, it's one of the first things my father taught me, how to be human, to minimize suffering." "And there are ways to ensure that?"

"Oh, yes. I could show you right now if you like." Annalise's face contorted into a half view of surprise, "Please." She gestured Bonnie up to the stand who gladly approached. She stood in front of him with her back touching the stand.

Max placed his hands on her shoulder and head bending her neck. "First, you bend the neck, like this so the chin is close you the chest. Then you put the knife here-" The judge then spoke stopping Max in his movements. "Mrs. Keating. Please explain the relevance of this." Annalise nodded at the judge but wanting Max to continue. "It will become apparent, your honor."

The judge turned his gaze over to Max and Bonnie letting him continue. "Once the knife is by the jugular, you slice." She dragged his fingers quickly across her neck causing Laurel to gasp. "In one switch motion, and then, well, it just becomes about waiting for the stillness," Bonnie slowly and stiffly walked about with Max's eyes trailing her. ", which happens quite fast if you've done it correctly."

Eloise awfully glared at her father from her seat. "And this technique- this is a very humane, painless way of killing an animal, is that how you murdered your first wife?" Max smirked catching onto her motive. "Yes, that's correct." The spectators murmured, Wes snapped his head towards the rest of the students, and Eloise quickly dropped her head to her lap with furrowed brows and poorly puckered lips.

Frank sat giving Annalise a gaze of excitement on winning the case. Annalise and Blair stood at the judge's stand talking with him. Once they finished speaking, Annalise called her next witness to the stand.

"How many years have you been chief medical examiner of the city of Philadelphia?" The woman quickly answered, "Thirteen years. I left last May to become chief of pathology at Penn State." "And you've studied the autopsy reports of both Elizabeth Sims and Majorie St. Vincent." The woman answered with a 'yes'. "Can you describe the difference between the two murders?"

The woman took a deep breath before she spoke, "Well, at first blush they look quite similar. But a more in-depth review of the reports indicates that the first murder, a laceration across the neck, was done by someone with a knowledge of anatomy."

"And the second murder?" Annora brought her bottom lip between her teeth wanting to win the case. "The numerous sharp injuries were messy, inaccurate. They hit bone. The killer clearly knew nothing about anatomy." Wes looked over at Eloise who was looking suspicious. "Meaning the second killer probably did not have hunting experience."

His gaze stood focused on her trying to put the pieces together. "Definitely not." Annora saw his gaze and thought over the same thing. She tapped his shoulder making him bring his head down to her height. "Do you think Eloise did it?" He nodded before whispering back, "Just think about it. Put all the pieces together, correctly, it makes sense."

Annora thought over it before turning back with a small smile of amazement. "You're a genius."

"I got the IP address to the computer that emailed the D.A. about Max's first trial. Came from a Stanford computer lab." Annalise looked over the file focusing on a name. "Eloise." Frank pinned to fingers on the open file looking at Annalise with all seriousness. "She spent spring break visiting her Mom's hometown in Switzerland, dug up the real story how she died, started plotting her revenge," Annalise spoke softly bringing her gaze up to Frank's. "Like father, like daughter."

Annalise rounded the corner with Wes by her side seeing the rest of the group seated. "Annora." Her daughter quickly stood along with Laurel and Asher.

"Speak up more. I like your ideas. And watch out for Mr. Gibbons and Miss Keating here, quiet ones are usually the most dangerous." Annalise then walked down the left hallway. Laurel then looked down at her feet whispering to herself, "It was my idea."

Michaela looked between Wes and Annora confused. "What the hell just happened?" The group besides Wes and Annora walked behind Annalise. Connor stopped just before he followed smirking at Annora. "Nice idea, A." He then followed along with the two of them walking behind him as well.

Wes walked slow enough to hear Frank speak to Bonnie, "Told you I have good taste." Bonnie rolled her eyes looking at the brightly smiling Frank.

"We're not having this conversation again." Wes stopped at the door inside the room, leaning against the doorframe. Frank shook his head still smiling, "I'm not gonna do anything. Besides, you're the one we need to worry about. What? You think you're the only one in that house who notices things?"

Frank turned around making subtle eye contact with Wes as he entered the room going beside Annora. She smiled lightly at him hugging his side showing her excitement at her mother's words.

Wes stood and watched from his position with a frown playing on his lips before he dropped his head playing with the buttons on his coat.

They all soon entered back into the courtroom awaiting the verdict. The students watched as a man from the jury stood to his feet before speaking. "In the matter of Commonwealth vs. St. Vincent, case number P1082971, we, the jury, find the defendant, Maxwell St. Vincent not guilty.

Annalise walked out to the courtroom with a smile on her face. Many people in the halls started yelled at the group about Max's murder. Annora flinched back as one who was close to her yelled loudly.

Both Wes and Frank saw her movement and came to pull her to their side, however, Frank had gotten there first. He slid his arm around her waist with his hand resting on her stomach as he pulled her closer to his body.

She sent him a thankful smile as he rushed her onto the elevator with her mother, Max, and Bonnie. The other students quickly pushed through the crowd to get into the elevator. Michaela stared back with a struck look. "Okay, I don't like this part." The elevator doors the men fully closed stopping the people from entering.

At the Keating residence, Annora was in her room finishing up an essay for her creative writing class. Her fingers stopped typing as she heard her mom yell her name from downstairs.

Annora scurried out of her chair seeing her mother with a smile and Sam putting on an awkward smile. "Sam made dinner for the celebration of our win." Her daughter smiled as she remembered the big win they had that morning. Annora skipped down the stepped happily but stopped just before the last one as she saw Sam dryly suck his teeth.

Annalise saw this as well and peered at her husband in confusion. "What?" Sam sighed crossing his arms walking forward one step. "This dinner was supposed to be just for the two of us, Annie." Annalise furrowed her brows stepping closer to her daughter. "Nora has won this case too, not just me. Shouldn't we be celebrating for the both of us?"

Annora didn't want her parents to argue so she backed up on the steps with a tight smile. "It's fine. I'm not hungry anyway, had a big lunch." Truth be told Annora was practically starving as she had no lunch that day.

Annalise could tell when her daughter was lying so she pursed her lips looking at her daughter before asking softly, "Are you sure? I'm sure there's plenty." Annora shook her head walking halfway up the steps. "It's fine. I'll see you in the morning".

Wes brought a fleece blanket in the darkroom, wrapping it around Rebecca, pulling her into himself. Annora sat on the loveseat, her knees pulled to her chest, crying when Connor came into the study.

He saw Michaela sitting on the floor and hissed out, "Michaela, stand up. We need to leave. Do you understand? Michaela!" He roughly nudged her shoulder when she didn't answer causing Laurel to butt in. "Connor, stop!"

Annora wasn't listening to them. Her ears were full of buzzing as she started at her step-father's dead body on the ground. To her, it felt as if his eyes were staring back. She quickly got to her feet and hurried out of the room, her breathing out of control.

Wes sat up completely, looking at her wide-eyed. "Ann!" He went to go after her but Rebecca grabbed his wrist pulling him closer to her. "Stay with me." Wes wanted to go after Annora but he also wanted to stay with his girlfriend. In the end, he decided to stay with her.

Annora walked into the kitchen breathing heavily, roughly pulling open a drawer finding her inhaler. She quickly put the inhaler in her mouth slowly breathing in as she pressed down on it.

Annalise, Bonnie, Frank, and Annora all walked out of the Keating residence dressed for the occasion, only to see Michaela making out with a man on the porch.

As they pulled apart Annora looked away muttering to herself, "Gross." Frank smirked leaning down to her ear. "You wouldn't be saying that if it was you and me." Annora's ears turned warm and she fully faced her body towards the front.

She was trying to focus as Michaela introduced her Fiancé but Frank get placing his hand on her side or her lower back which was dangerously close to her butt. She would move his hand off or place it elsewhere but he only chuckled and brought it back.

Annora finally focused when the four of them started moving allowing the four inside to come out to the house. The most she paid attention to was when Michaela's fiancé and her mother shook hands. She was lucky enough to ride in the car with her mom, Frank, and Bonnie.

She was seated in the backseat behind Frank, gazing out of the window as she saw Michaela introduce her fiancé to them all with smiles, telling him their names as she pointed them out. Annora felt left out as Michaela didn't do that for her or talk to her for that. She had even introduced Asher who she didn't like all that well.

Frank looked back in the rearview mirror seeing her face contort, her playful smile from his actions morphing into a frown. He followed her gaze out of the window seeing the three students walk away with little smiles and Connor and Aiden hug.

The group walked up the steps in the police station with Annalise leading. "Officer Nelson." She spoke to the police officer standing behind the desk, he went into one of the rooms retrieving the officer. A few moments later Officer Nelson came to the desk.

"Look who's here, Professor Keating." Annalise wasted no time getting to the point. "You have a client of mine in lock up, Paula Murphy." The older man nodded roughly speaking, "The "Sex in the Park" lady. Yeah, she's here."

Asher tilted his head towards the group murmuring, "That's it? Our hot new case is some hooker in a park?" Bonnie crossed her arms turning to him, "She's a frown of a friend. Not every case is a serial killer. You want to be Professor Keating one day, you build a client base from the ground up, so shut up and learn." Asher didn't speak on it anymore only turning his head back.

The six students stood as Annalise signed papers at the desk before they saw their client being brought out. "Woah, that is not a hooker that's a mom." Asher was surprised as he stared at the client. Connor chuckled with a small smile on his lips. "Genius." The police officer opened the door for her letting her see Annalise. "Mrs. Murphy, I'm Annalise Keating." The woman sighed in relief, "Oh, thank God. I don't know how I'll ever repay you." Annalise paid no mind to her thankfulness. "This way."

The woman walked with her and continued to speak. "I didn't know what to do. I've never needed a lawyer before. I'm so grateful that Cheryl offered to put me in touch with you." "Well, Cheryl is a long-time client of mine. I'm glad I can be of some help." As they made their way to the group and continued walking the group followed after them. "I'm so ashamed. This is not the kind of thing I usually do."

"The charges have been dropped. It's been cleared from your record. No one will know, including your husband." They walked out of the building when a couple of cars drove entirely too fast at them.

Frank immediately put his around in front of Annora pushing her behind him thinking it was a car crash waiting to happen. However, police officers stepped out of the vehicles wanting to arrest their client.

Annalise looked confused as they called her out of her name. "Excuse me, her name's Paula Murphy." The female officer looked at Annalise as two male officers cuffed the woman. "Her name's Elena Aguilar. She's a fugitive wanted for felony murder in connection with the 1994 bombing of the world financial institute." She handed Annalise a teal folded sheet of paper. Annora rubbed her head at the sudden news.

She was taken into the station where she was placed into questioning. Asher looked through the one-way mirror at the mom. "Hooker mom turned out to be bomb mom. I freakin' love this job." Laurel shushed him as she looked at Frank talking to the lady's kids.

"Sh, her kids are right there." Connor smirked at Michaela a mischievous glint in his eyes, "Makes you wonder what secrets Aiden might be keeping from you, right?"

After Paula/Elena was done being questioned the group went back to the Keating household. "Make sure the daughters are in court. That's gold for the jury. When's the bail hearing?" Bonnie answered as they walked into the hall. "Tomorrow morning."

"The forensics expert?" They made their way into the study where they do most of their work. "On his way." It was frank who answered this time, a set look. Michaela didn't understand the need for him. "What can he do to help? Her fingerprints on the bomb fragment."

Connor sat his bag down in the chair agreeing with her. "Exactly. There's no way to win this." Annalise turned around as she was about to go into her office staring at Connor as she handed Annora her coat. "You just lost the trophy, Mr. Walsh."

Connor looked at her in disbelief. "What? You said that we could hand it in whenever we wanted." Annalise gave him a stern squint. "That was before you doubted my abilities." He was trying to get his trophy back. If he knew that would've cost him it, he wouldn't have said a word. "I'm just saying that we have no defense." Annalise was about to turn into her office before she looked back at him with a smart face. "Who says I don't have one?"

"United States v. Hearst - who can tell me the facts?" Many students' hands shot into the air wanting to be called upon. Annalise called onto Annora who's hand was nervously halfway up. "Miss Keating." She cleared her throat lowering her hand and standing up. "Patty Hearst, the heiress to the Hearst Corporation, was charged with armed bank robbery. Her lawyers argued a two-pronged defense that she was both brainwashed and coerced by her kidnappers at the Symbionese liberation army."

Annalise crossed her arms peering at her daughter. "Did the defense work." "No. The prosecution argued that she could bit be both under duress and brainwashed." Annalise walked around the room speaking once more aloud to the class, "Who can tell me the first key to a mind-control defense?" Annora sat back down as students' hands shot up again.

"Ms. Castillo?" Laurel quickly stood to her feet not wasting a breath. "Establishing a brainwasher, a mastermind you can pin the crime on."

"And once a ringleader had been identified? Ms. Pratt?" She stood from her seat holding her notebook. "Establish that the illegal act was conceived wholly and originally by the ringleader, that it was his idea alone." Michaela turned and smirked at Connor who gave her no emotion.

"We were occupy before there was occupy, big-bank greed, misdistribution of wealth, we were against at stuff years ago." The prosecutor stood in front of the man he was questioning moving his hand as he spoke. "And Paula- or Elena, as you knew her, she espoused these beliefs, as well?"

The man wheezed s chuckle, "Hells, yeah. Elena liked to rage against the wealth machine as much as any of us." It was Annalise's turn to question the individual now. "Mr. Davis, would you say that you were under the influence of your group's charismatic leader, Gabriel Shaw?" She held up a picture showing the jury. "You make him sound like a cult leader." She put her arm down walking closer to the stand. "Your words, not mine."

"Gabriel is very persuasive, but he never made us do anything we didn't want to do." Mr. Davis shortly smiled. "Really? Didn't he once keep food from the group for seven straight days?" "We were fasting. That was voluntary."

"It's called food deprivation, and it's one of the most effective tools in mind control." A woman was now on the stand, the other person who was arrested those years ago. "And his plan to plant the pipe bomb was Gabriel's entirely, wasn't it?" The make prosecutor stood from his seat, "Objection- hearsay." Though it was sustained.

"Did he consult you about the plans, ask your opinion?" She shook her head, turning it back to Annalise. "Did he consult any other members of the group?" She once again shook her head and answered 'no'. Though it sounded as if she was gaining attitude. "Nothing further."

Annalise began walking back to her seat but was stopped when she spoke. "For the record, though, I do think Elena should go to jail." Annalise glanced between her and the judge as she raised her voice, "Motion to strike!"

"We all served our time. Why shouldn't she?" The woman in the stands looked to the judge. "Your honor?" Annalise's voice was strong as she stared at the judge.

I feel like my fingers are going to fall off because I kept pressing the pause button and typing in the last scene as they were speaking so fast.
