"You knew everything, didn't you?" Jungkook hisses as he barges into the boss office.

The boss doesn't say anything other than smoking and ignoring him as if he isn't here.

Annoyed with his ignorance, jungkook hit down on his desk with his fist as he makes sure to miss his ashtray by a hair.

He finally looks up at jungkook before he blows a blast of smoke into his face. "About what?" an amuse smirk decorates his face and jungkook blinks his eyes as he feels the anger boiling inside him.

"About byul and her brother. Tell me how much you know about her?" He demands as he stares right into his boss soulless, empty eyes.

"Why do you think I will tell you? Who are you to know about her by the way?" The boss questions. It was so easy to read jungkook in this time. It was all written on his face why he was so furious and why he was so desperate to know about byul.

"That shouldn't concern you who I am to her. Just tell me what is more about her you know. Why she is here? And who is after her. Why they want to kill her" jungkook asks as he impatiently taps on the armchair for answers.

"Jungkook, look, you will know when the time is right. Just do what you are told to do. Take her with you. I will give you more information when needed." The boss says patiently as he pats jungkook shoulders before leaving but jungkook stops him.

"If you don't tell me then taehyung will do this. There is no need for me anyway. She needs her brother to protect her, not me" jungkook hears the boss sighs heavily and turns back to face a stubborn jungkook.

"Taehyung will go with her. But you must keep an eye on both of them."

"And why is that? Why do I need to keep an eye on them? Why are you that desperate to protect those siblings?" Jungkook asks.

Curiosity and annoyance, both hit him hard. His boss never gave this much important to save someone. And this made jungkook more curious about why he needs to save those two. Who are they to him?

"Why don't you find this by yourself too? Just do what I told you to do, I trust in you, jungkook but I don't trust in taehyung. He is weak when it comes to her. If any harm will comes to her, then you will be responsible. So take her with you as soon as possible" the boss commands as he signals jungkook to exit.

Jungkook analysis his features, it's clear that he isn't going to tell him anytime soon so it was useless to waste his time on him. He has nothing to offer him so, jungkook leaves his office and makes his way to his room only to find byul sitting on his bed while looking down.

He sighs heavily as he decides to turn back and avoid any contact with her. But then, how long he will be able to avoid her?

One day he has to face her, after all he is going to keep an eye on her untill things don't settles down. He makes sure steps towards his room and closes the door once he entered.

The second he entered the room, she immediately looks up at him. By looking at her red nose and teary eyes, his eyes softens. He approaches her and sat right next to her. But none of then speaks anything, just staring at the floor. Their hearts beat faster and louder than their minds as no one make a noise.

Jungkook then, carefully takes her hand in him and squeezes it. Byul looks up at him with wide eyes by this sudden contact. "You need to stop this byul."

Jungkook says as he looks up at her again. His eyes desperately stares into her soft and gentle ones with so much pain and sadness."W-we need to stop this. I don't know how. But we need to. It will nowhere take us. It will destroy us. Why can't you understand this?"

"You are making everything so difficult for me. You only think about yourself but what about others? Don't be selfish byul. Just let it go, your feelings, these feeling are forbidden for us. For you and for me. I can't offer you anything. I don't have anything for you."

He says as a lone tear leave his eyes and falls down on their clasps hands.

"And who says I want something for you? Your presence is everything for me jungkook. And why am I selfish only? Aren't you a bit selfish too? You have always pushed me away, never thinking about my own feelings. When will you understand I don't care about anything? I don't care what will happen to us. I just want to live in this moment. To love you as long as I can. To want you as much as i can. I have stopped fearing for things ahead of time and you should do it too." Byul removes the tear from his cheeks as she gently caresses his soft skin.

Jungkook hides his face in her arms as he shakes his head.
"I can't. Because I know when I will realize this, everything will not be the same as it is now and when that time comes, I will not able to do shit. I will not able to save you."
Jungkook trembles in her arms while she makes circles on his back to keep him calm.

"You don't need to save me. And why do you think that danger only comes to me when I am with you? Isn't taehyung the same as you? He has his own enemies. Aren't you scared that they will reach out for me because of taehyung? Why I am only not safe with you? The second I stepped in this place i was in danger. And i am in danger till now. So stop fearing jungkook. Just give us a chance. You need to. You have to jungkook." She adds softly as she raise his head up to look into his teary eyes.

"Why is it so hard for you to accept it?" He frowns cutely as a pout rests on his lips.

"Why is hard for you?" She teases with a smirk on her face.

"You won't understand it." He says as he looks down, the frown and the pout still decorates his face with too much cuteness.

"Same goes for you" she says simply before flicking his head.

"You're annoying" he removes her hand from his head and states annoyingly.

"Aww, and you are stubborn." Pinching his cheeks, she laughs joyfully as she sticks her tongue out for him to tease him.

"Tsk. childish" he states before looking away from her but a smile still on his face.

"Proud to be childish" she say proudly as a smile appears on her face. He smiles too as he looks at her face again. It makes him more happy that he is the reason behind it. Untill now all he ever thought was he was a harm to her. And he could never be able to make her happy. But now, seeing her cheeky smile, he wants to hold her in his embrace forever and never let her go.

"So.." byul says and he looks up at her.

"So?" He asks softly and places her head on his chest again.

"Will you go with me and taehyung?" She asks after a while. Her hands playing with the thin and soft fabric of his shirt as she patiently waits for the answer.

"I have to. Boss told me to" he answers. The sounds of his heart beat feels like a music to her ear as she listens to him.

"What really? Why?" She asks shocked as she immediately raises her head to look up at him. He chuckles softly as he rests his hand on her head and places it on his chest again.

"Just..to make sure you're okay...I think he knows the people who are after you. That's why he is so desperate to protect you two" he says and byul nods in excitement.

"Boss want me save? And I thought i will die if I even leave a particle of dust while cleaning his room." She chuckles

"So are you going to live with us?" She adds right after. Jungkook lets a soft laugh as he breaks the hug to stares at her. An evil smirk lingering on his face as he frowns at her innocent looking face.

"No Byul. But what are you thinking?" He teases as he quirks an eyebrow at her. Byul shakes her head with wide eyes as she scoots away from him a little.

"What? No..nothing. What are you thinking" she says hurriedly before trying to get away out of his hold.

"I don't know. You tell me" he softly laughs as he places a strand of hair behind her ear while showing his toothy grin.

"I don't know either." She shakes her head as she looks anywhere but him before excusing herself to get out of his hold. "I need to go to taehyung. He asks me to see him" he hums as he releases his hold on her before letting a sweet laughter at her cuteness.

She exits the room and sprints back to her room with her heart beating like there's no tomorrow.
