"So...uhm...h-how have you been?"

Byul's asks in a rather high pitch tone as she nervously fiddles with her fingers. She still can't believe what has been told to her.

Taehyung...as her brother?

What the fricky frack is this?

It's like a dream, but she is not sure whether it is good or bad. She has mixed feelings, not only thinking about one thing. There's a lot in her mind that is going on.

Hours ago, she was thinking about the possibility of meeting her brother and now she is meeting him. And by brother she means, Kim taehyung, Quite fascinating?

Then the thought of jungkook. She thought he wasn't serious, about him searching for her brother. But he did what said.

Now that she thinks, if he wasn't joking then apparently he wasn't joking about kicking her out either.

How cruel he could be?

She wasn't ready for this. It wasn't easy for her to accept all of this suddenly. She doesn't want to accept it. If she does then jungkook may never let her meet him. She can't bare it. It feels like dying to even think about it.

It is also difficult for her because she had always thought taehyung as the person who hates her the most. How can she not act awkward now? It is now more difficult to accept this because of taehyung. It feels impossible.

It was probably not easy for taehyung either. It was uphill battle for him to finally confess about the massive events of the past days. The encounter with jungkook and then the revealing of truth, concealed in for the past years.

There was more to know, many many more information that he doesn't know yet and expects to know from byul. But he doesn't wants to pressure her. Obviously it will be hard for her as much as it was for him while repeating all of the past again.

Right now, both sibling are just sitting on the bed, watching down the floor as it is the most interesting thing they ever saw. None of then speak a word after byul's question which made the atmosphere more awkward for both of them.

She doesn't know what to do, she is lost and confuse. She doesn't even know if she is happy or not. It's not like she is meeting taehyung for the first time, but she is meeting her brother for the first time in so many years and now she doesn't know how to act.

Taehyung is her brother, this thing...this mere change of words has made everything upside down for her. Now, taehyung seems utterly different person for her. But how can she change her feeling towards him this fast? She hated him and he did too.

But what now? What to feel, what to say. Nothing. She is blank.

While, on the other side of the bed, the other person is having a roller coaster of emotions, pouring out from every part of his body.

Right now, taehyung doesn't care of who she is, what her name is or whatever habits she possess, he just wants to spend his time with his little angel who is now a rude, clumsy stupid girl.

Inspite of all the bad traits she has got, taehyung is still proud of her. Proud that she managed to survive safe and sound. That she is brave enough to protect herself. She is braver than him and it shows.

She never cried, atleast he never saw her crying but in his case, he had always showed his vulnerable side to others. He is proud of her that she can able to control her emotions.

He hasn't answer her question and he isn't planning to. He just wants to close this chapter once and act like nothing ever happened. He knows life is going to be very hard for both of them from now on and there are yet many more battles to fight to buy happiness for themselves.

So because of that, he wants to save memories. Happy memories for once with his little sister. He wants to feel the good old days just for once so that he could be able to fight for her and for him.

Taehyung walks through the other side of bed and sits down next to her as he quietly but gently scoops her in his warm and soothing embrace without saying anything. Byul doesn't say anything too. She just lets him do what he wants because at least he is doing something to built the bond that they had lost years ago.

"I am sorry" he mumbles softly as he rest his cheeks on the top of her head. "For what?" She asks right after him.

"For not protecting you. And for leaving you" taehyung whispers quietly as byul breaks the hugs and she looks up at him. "But it wasn't your fault. Now I know everything, so you are fine. I know it wasn't your choice to leave me. I don't hate you for this"

"So did you hate me?" Taehyung asks curiously as a sad smile appears on his lips.

"Not I did. I do" she states honestly and taehyung's smile vanishes just after those words left her mouth.

"Why?" He mumbles sadly, looking down at her face.

"Because you teased me and said hurtful words. It hurt." She confesses as she looks down at her hands fiddling together. She knew it will upset him, but she was more than upset when he told her all the things that weren't even true. He doesn't know her side of story and she isn't planning to tell him. She knows it will only make him more upset so it is better to shut this chapter.

Taehyung gaze softens as he watches the girl in front of him. At this moment, she acted exactly like his old angel who used to become embarrassed after confessing something and this makes him more sad and guilty that he hurt her. Obviously her life wouldn't be easy all that years too, she may have had hard times or worse, he doesn't even want to think about.

He carefully lifts her chin up with his fingers. "I am sorry. I didn't know about you that time but that doesn't prove I can do it with other girls. I promise, I'll make it up to you. From now on, I will only make you happy and I will protect from everything. I will be a good brother for you angel, I promise" taehyung says as he lifts up his pinky finger with a wide warm smile. Byul unconsciously chuckles as she intertwines her finger with his.

"I will be a good sister then." She says smiling at him.

The rest of the day was spent talking about random stuff, things they like and don't and other stuff. They even spent the whole night taking about things. But never did she tell him about what happened after he left nor did he pressure her.

But she did tell him about their father that he is dead. He died after one year when taehyung left and it sure stung to taehyung heart to lose another person.

Taehyung told her about her childhood and how she used to be like. How was her personality and how much mischievous she was. All this time they only smiled. Taehyung was never this happy. He thought he has accomplished his everything. He has finally found his sister and now he will protect her at any cost.

He will protect her and himself from those monsters who killed their family. This time, he will keep his promise. He is more powerful than he was in the past. Now, he will never let anyone to harm his family.
