~ Y/n's POV

⏳ Next Day ⌛️

For the first time since I got here, I actually got some peaceful sleep. Without having to be knocked out unconscious. After my alarm went off at 7 AM, I got up to take a shower and made my way to the dining pavilion. When I made it to the line I grabbed my F/f (Favorite food) and walked to sit at a table, to wait for Luke and Annabeth. After they finally made it, we all had breakfast together and then we left to train. Walking to the training field Luke asked me.

Luke: "Do you want me to teach you fist fighting today?" He asked.

Y/n: "Yeah, and then Annabeth could teach me with a sword later." I responded.

Annabeth: "Okay I'll just train with someone else in the meantime." Annabeth said as she walked away to another battle station to challenge another girl.

Y/n: "Just to warn you, I took some fighting classes when I was younger." I said with a smirk.

Luke: "Let's see if you've gotten worse since then." He said getting in a fighting stance.

Y/n: "You wish pretty boy." I said getting into my fighting stance.

Luke: "Okay come on then." He taunted.

I ran forward to strike him first. I aimed a punch at his chest, which caused him to be pushed back. Then I aimed another at his cheek, when he dodged and kicked my side making me get pushed to the right.

I held my side, grunting at the kick, and then swung my leg out to trip him onto the ground but again he saw this coming and jumped up when my leg was coming, making another hit to my leg.

Luke: "Ready to give up". He said trying to taunt me again.

I was only holding back because I didn't want to hurt him. Starting from when I was ten years old, my mother or so-called mother took me to multiple fighting classes over the years, so I could protect myself from any harm. But I guess she really wanted me trained for this life.

Y/n: "No." I grunted.

I had enough of losing and him just throwing punches. So I ran up to Luke, jumped on the battle weaponry table, and wrapped my legs around his neck. Which made him so surprised. Then I twisted my body keeping my legs tightly wrapped around his neck and kept his arms crossed so they couldn't move. I flipped over and brought Luke down with me. He got flipped over onto his back and landed really hard against the ground.

I quickly sat down on his waist, leaving him impressed as both of my legs were on each side of him.

Y/n: "See? I won." I said laughing.

Luke placed his hands on my waist, which made me stunned for a while. Then we switched positions and now he was on top. I was blushing so hard that my cheeks were so red. Then he came close to my face  that he was only inches away so that his nose rubbed against my nose. I promise you my heart was skipping so many beats. He then whispered in my ear.

Luke: "I won now." He said getting up.

Y/n: "Oh come on." I said as I realized what happened.

Luke: "You're good at fighting but I'm better." He said while helping me up.

Y/n: "You cheated." I said glaring at him.

Luke: "There is no proof." He said smiling and with that, he walked away.

I was so tired after that workout, so I went to the dining pavilion to grab an apple. Then afterwards I made my way to Annabeth to train with swords. After I made it to the battlefield, Annabeth was already in a match with the same girl she challenged. I waited and leaned by the tree observing.

Annabeth is so good with a sword that they are both going backward and forwards with the sword, blocking and trying to get hits in. Until Annabeth knocked the sword out of her hand and pushed her to the floor and then held her sword against her neck. The girl looked terrified by Annabeth, but then she helped the girl up and said good match.

If I was being completely honest I would be so scared to go up against Annabeth, because of how talented she is. She could slit my throat within a second of the match. I put it on my list not to piss her off.

Y/n: "Heyy." I said walking towards her.

Annabeth: "Hey, you ready to train?" She asked while sipping from her water bottle.

Y/n: "Yeah." I said grabbing a shield and sword.

After a while of training with Annabeth, it was now 12 Pm. Which means it's time for lunch. Yessss!! I'm so hungry right now. Me and Annabeth walked together to the dining pavilion and sat with each other at lunch, while Luke was at a different table.

After I finished eating I decided to walk with Annabeth and Luke in the forest to talk about my mission on leaving camp.

Y/n: "I have to tell you guys something." I said turning around to face them.

Y/n: " I'm making a plan to leave camp and find my mother.

Annabeth: "What!! You can't do that." Annabeth said surprised at what I just said.

Annabeth: "Are you stupid!!" She said.

Y/n: "I have to. I have to find my mother." I said.

Annabeth: "You will get into so much trouble with Chiron." She tried to explain to me.

Y/n: "Who cares about Chiron right now?! My mother means more than anything to me. And to find out that she might not actually be my mother is confusing." I said.

Annabeth: "Well everything is not just about you y/n. You come into camp half-blood trying to be the center of attention by thinking 'Oh no my mother is not my mother, what am I going to do'. Well, guess what everyone is just as fucked up as you. Everyone here has family problems. They don't go around trying to make it everyone else's business. Having family problems doesn't make you more special than anyone else." Annabeth said in a harsh tone.

Y/n: "I thought out of everyone else here, that you would be the one to understand. I guess I was wrong. I said while tears threatened to pour out of my eyes.

I was so hurt by what she said that I stormed out of there while having tears pouring down my face.

Luke: "Y/n wait. Wait. He said catching up with me.

He wiped my tears off my face with his thumb.

Luke: "I want to help and come with you." He said while wrapping his arms around my shoulder.

Luke: "Here I know a place that can help you relax." He said while walking with me in a different direction.

When we reached it was a very small beach with lots of big rocks. Luke sat down on one and tapped the spot next to him signaling for me to sit next to him.

Luke: "I'm sure she didn't mean it." He said trying to comfort me.

After that, we just sat in silence until I heard a tree branch snap behind us.

Annabeth: "Uhm. I'm so sorry y/n. What I said was so mean and no one deserves to have someone say that to them." She said apologizing.

Y/n: "Yeah but you're kind of right." I said agreeing with Annabeth.

Y/n: "I am making a big deal out of probably nothing. And dragging and dumping all of my problems on the both of you.

Annabeth: "No I was wrong for saying that. You were only trying to ask for my help, but instead, I just blew up in your face." She said apologizing again.

Annabeth: "I want to help. I want to help you find your mother no matter the punishment because that's what friends do. They stick up for each other." Annabeth said which made me smile.

Annabeth: "And when have you ever heard me turn down a quest?" She said smiling.

I ran up to hug her and Luke got up from his rock hugging me as well.

Luke: "We are going to need a lot of food because I get hungry really fast. He said which made all of us burst into laughter.

⏳ Time skip ⌛️

At midnight all of us snuck out of our cabins to meet up in the forest. We all had jobs to do. Luke's job was to get enough food and drinks. Annabeth's job was to bring swords and weaponry just in case we were in danger. My job was to book tickets for the bus and pack everyone's bags. After that, I was waiting for Annabeth and Luke in the forest. When they finally made it after 30 minutes.

Y/n: "Finally. What took you guys so long!?" I asked, annoyed.

Luke: "Well we're here now." He said, handing me my bag of food.

Annabeth: "Did we get everything?" She asked counting everything we have.

Y/n: "Okay are we ready?"

Annabeth and Luke: "Yeah."

We walked through the barrier and walked out to the bus. When the bus arrived we had to sit in the back of the bus next to the toilets. Me and Luke sat together, me by the window and Luke by the outside. After about 30 minutes, I started to get tired and Luke noticed.

Luke: "You can rest your head on my shoulders. I promise they are as soft as a pillow.

I put my head on his shoulder and said.

Y/n: "Tell me when we reach." I said in a soft tone.

Luke: "Of course sleeping beauty. Sleep well." He said while massaging my head. Making me fall asleep on his shoulders.
