After training all day yesterday, today is finally the day. The day where most kids get noticed and attention from their godly parents. The day I will show my parents how special I am.

I got out of bed, took a shower, and got ready. I decided to do an early morning run to get the day going. I grabbed my headphones and started blasting the song 'Light 'em Up', by the Fall Out Boys.

After my morning run, I spotted Percy and Luke sitting at a table outside talking, so I went over to them.

Y/n: "Hey guys, what's up?" I said as I waved to them.

Percy and Luke: "Hey." They both replied.

Y/n: "What are you guys talking about?" I asked.

Percy: "Nothing really." He replied a little too fast.

Y/n: "You've been here for a couple of days and you're already keeping secrets from me." I scoffed.

Luke: "We were just talking about my life and how I got here with Annabeth." Luke replied.

Percy: "Yeah about that, she's been watching me since I got here. Why?" He asked, looking between me and Luke.

I didn't want to answer him because I thought Annabeth was watching him because she probably liked him but I didn't know for sure so I kept quiet, which made Luke answer.

Luke: "Annabeth is the strongest warrior in camp. The only way she has to prove that is to go on a quest." Luke said.

Y/n: "She went on a quest with me, with us." I interrupted.

Luke: "She said it wasn't a real quest and that it was embarrassing because she got knocked out during the time we got ambushed and that she was unable to show her true warrior skills." He replied.

Y/n: "Okay wow, if she thinks that helping a friend with something is embarrassing then she isn't a real warrior." I snapped.

Luke: "She didn't mean it like that. It's just that Chiron has been promising her quests for years saying how one day a demigod would come to camp and they would be fated to go on a quest that not even Chiron can prevent." Luke said, pulling my arm to stop me from leaving.

Luke: "After every arrival, she watches them for any signs that it could be her chance to shine during a quest. At first she thought it was you." Luke pointed to me.

Y/n: "Me." I said pointing to myself.

Luke: "Yeah, as soon as she saw that you were born from two gods, she thought that it could finally be her time to go on a quest, so that's why she decided to go with you to find your mom." Luke explained.

Luke: "She was wrong because nothing special happened during that quest. So I think now she is watching you, Percy. After a day or two she usually gives up, but she is still watching you." He said looking over to Percy.

Percy: "Well can you ask her to knock it off?" Percy snapped.

Luke: "Yeah, but what if she's right?" He questions.

After that conversation, we heard the conch shell being blown. It's time. Game time.

Chiron: "Heroes it's time. The game begins." Chiron said, looking at his watch.

Everyone went to the armory to get ready for the game and then met up later where Chiron was waiting.

Chiron: "The first team to retrieve the opposing flag and return it across the river shall be the victor. As always there should be no maiming or killing. I trust these rules will be respected. Any magical items you may possess are permitted as well. Every camper who is not injured has to play." Chiron continued.

I zoned out thinking of what my parents would think of me if I lost this game. If I used my powers I would probably kill someone. My powers are too strong to the point they're dangerous. But if I don't use it, how can I beat all of these talented kids who have been training a lot longer than me? They would see that they made a worthless and useless child. As I kept myself in deep thought a voice made its way to my head.

Unknown voice: "You are not worthless or useless, you are a special child. With or without powers you are stronger than anyone in this camp. If your parents don't believe in you, just know that I do. I believe in you." The voice whispering in my head got louder at the last sentence until someone jolted me out of my thoughts.

Luke: "Hey you okay." He asked, slightly shaking my arm with a concerned look on his face.

Y/n: "Yeah I'm okay. Just nervous, that's all." I reassured him as he turned to Percy.

Luke: "It's okay, let her rip." He told Percy talking about his pen.

Chiron: "Prisoners may be disarmed but may not be bound or gagged." Chiron said as he continued telling the rules.

Percy: "I still don't even know what my job is. Maybe I won't even need a sword." Percy remarked.

Chiron: "Let the games begin." Chiron finished off.

The conch shell was blown and everyone started yelling out battle cries.

Percy: "I'm gonna need a sword." Percy stated as I chuckled.

Annabeth came over to us.

Annabeth: "All right we have 20 minutes before the second conch and game on. You know what you are doing." She asked Luke.

Luke: "Yes ma'am." He answered, turning around to walk away.

Annabeth: "Hey. Today feels like a winning kind of day to you?" She called back to him.

Luke: "I'll see you on the other side." He replied.

Luke: "Company. Move out." Luke yelled pointing with his sword.

Me and Percy decided to walk with the group until Annabeth called out to us.

Annabeth: "Not you sunshines. You're with me." She called out, making us turn towards her.

After walking in the woods for a while following Annabeth, Percy tripped on a tree branch making me turn towards him helping him up.

Percy: "I'm fine thanks. But I appreciate you, you know, standing there silently." He hissed towards Annabeth.

Annabeth: "I didn't think it would take two people to help someone up from falling over a tree branch." She said turning back around to continue walking.

Y/n: "Okay listen Annabeth, I get it. Okay. You are better at this than the both of us, but I need this to go well today. We both do." I tried to convince her.

Percy: "We can't really describe it, but we need our parents to see it go well. So if you're expecting me to know how to do something I don't know what to do and I end up falling flat on my face, I can't really have that right now." Percy added pointing between the two of us.

Annabeth turned to Percy and fixed his strap to his armory.

Annabeth: "You still don't get where you fit into all of this. Do you?" She asked.

We got interrupted by another conch shell being blown.

Annabeth: "Game on." She stated before putting on her hat and disappearing.

Y/n: "Wait Annabeth!!" I yelled out as me and Percy looked around seeing her footsteps walking away.

Meanwhile, the red and blue teams were fighting against each other. I was sitting on a nearby rock with my hands on the side of my head while Percy was doing the floss on top of a rock. Then I saw him leave to hide behind a couple of trees to pee. I plugged my ears as I heard the urine pouring out onto the grass and him whistling to cover it up.

We were just relaxing on a tree branch next to each other listening to nature when we both heard branches snapping. When we both sat up we saw Clarisse take off her helmet and toss it to the ground beside her while her other teammates blocked us from leaving.

Y/n: "Flag's that way. It's not here." I said pointing right.

Clarisse: "We know. Glory's fine. Revenge is more fun. I want to have revenge against the both of you." She stated as she slammed her spear into the ground as it lighted up.

Percy was quick to grab our armory as we had taken it off earlier. We both put it on and stood up against her and her teammates.

Percy: "No maiming. It's like the number one rule." Percy reminded.

Clarisse: "Yeah guess I will lose desert privileges for a while. I'll live." She chuckled before trying to strike Percy.

Percy ducked and tried to block her attacks until he fell to the floor. I jumped in as Percy got up and we started defending ourselves. Clarisse hit my arm down, slicing it with her spear and pushing me and Percy off the rock. I groaned in pain.

Clarisse: "I'm actually not interested in maiming or killing you believe it or not. I just want both of you to admit that you're a fraud. It'd make me feel better. Are you feeling up to that yet?" She asked as me and Percy got up running.

Clarisse: "Guess that's a no." She said chasing after us.

Me and Percy ran as fast as we could through the woods. Clarisse and her teammates followed close behind. We ran until someone pushed us out of nowhere and we both fell down a hill scratching our skin until we bled. I hit my head on a rock as I felt blood dripping down from it.

Percy helped me up as we were cornered again. We started backing away until we turned around to see Clarisse pointing her spear right towards us, Percy pulled me behind him as we both fell backwards. Clarisse tried to run and attack us again.

Percy: "Get back!!" He yelled trying to keep them away.

They were attacking us from all corners knocking me and Percy's shields out of our hands. We ran back to get it from the floor as they cornered us again and our backs facing the water. We started attacking together and trying to block their attacks. When Clarisse tried to stab me with her spear I grabbed it from her hands, twisted it, and snapped it in half while falling backwards. When Clarisse saw that it broke she yelled out this blood curdling scream yelling out "Nooo!!".

She got up and grabbed me by my shirt while Percy got up to try and defend me, when we heard the final conch shell being blown and campers cheering. Luke came running with the flag and his teammates before stabbing the flag in the ground and cheering. Clarisse then pushed me away into Percy's arms before walking away. Both of us were breathing rapidly.

Annabeth: "Not bad heros." Annabeth said out of nowhere taking her hat off and reappearing.

Percy: "Where you here the whole time." Percy questioned her.

Annabeth: "Yes." She replied bluntly.

Y/n: "You were here the whole time and didn't even help us." I asked, annoyed.

Annabeth: "Yes." She replied bluntly again.

Percy: "Why?" Percy asked, confused and annoyed as well.

Annabeth then held out her hands to Percy so we could get up. Percy grabbed onto her hands and stood up helping me up as well as I stood behind him.

Annabeth: "Listen. Percy. I'm sorry." She said before pushing Percy, who fell into me, who both fell completely into the freezing cold water.

Percy: "What is wrong with you!!" Percy yelled, standing up and pulling me up from the water.

Annabeth and everyone else just stared back at us as Percy touched his cheek feeling that it was healing. I also touched where Clarisse sliced my arm and to where I hit my head to find the blood and cut gone. It disappeared.

Y/n and Percy: "I don't understand." Me and Percy said at the same time.

Everyone looked over our heads and started gasping like they did the first time I got claimed. Me and Percy looked over each other's head to see a bluish-green trident. We both were shocked.

Annabeth: "Your dad's calling." Annabeth said towards Percy but looked confused when she looked towards me.

I looked towards Luke to see his reaction, he looked almost scared of me. It hurt to see him like that.

Chiron: "You both have been claimed by Poseidon, Earthshaker, Stormbringer. Percy Jackson and Y/n Y/l/n, son and daughter of Poseidon." Chiron said confused when he got to my name.

I had multivisions of the word confusion. What in the world? How can I have three godly parents? Let alone two is too much but now I have three. My mind was splitting into a million pieces until I felt Percy grab my hand and squeezed it knowing I get headaches from overthinking too much.

⏳Later⌛️

I had the option to choose whether I got to stay with the Hephaestus' kids or I could move in with Percy at his own cabin. Of course I chose to stay with my best friend. We both walked to our new cabin with our stuff in our hands and a backpack over our shoulders.

After setting our stuffs down we both met up with Chiron and Mr. D who explained to us that for months Zeus and Poseidon have been locked in dispute over the master bolt. Zeus also got his bolt and authority stolen from him.

Y/n: "Well who stole it?" I asked.

Mr. D: "You both did." He said pointing to me and Percy.

Y/n and Percy: "What?" We both said at the same time.

Mr. D: "Zeus is looking for a thief and sees two forbidden children claimed by his jealous brother, it doesn't look good for the both of you." He explained.

Y/n: "We didn't do anything." I challenged.

Chiron: "Of course you didn't, but your father needs your help." He said as I looked down.

I still was doubting that he was my father. I had nothing like him. I don't even have anything similar to his power. Me and Percy had gotten a little distant ever since we were both claimed by the same person.

Chiron: "He needs both of your help." Chiron said, looking at me.

Chiron: "If Poseidon doesn't return the bolt by the summer solstice in one week there will be war. That is your quest. You both must leave immediately." Chiron warned.

Percy: "Leave? Leave for where?" He questioned.

Chiron: "There is a third brother who resents them both." Chiron stated.

Y/n: "It's hades." I suggested.

Chiron: "Yes." He replied.

Percy: "The bolt is with Hades in the underworld." He answered.

Chiron: "I know it sounds scary, but you will not be alone, this quest will be taken up by four." He said, trying to calm us.

Percy: "Great. Good luck finding those guys, cause it ain't gonna be me." Percy hissed.

Chiron: "Poseidon claimed you two, this is his will." He said, trying to persuade us.

Percy: "Poseidon has ignored me all of my life." Percy snapped back.

Mr. D: "You are his son and daughter." Mr. D said, trying to stand his point.

Percy: "I'm Sally Jackson's son." Percy yelled.

Mr. D: "Who's Sally Jackson?" Mr. D questioned.

Y/n: "She's the one who cared enough to call herself Percy's mother. She got herself killed so that Percy can be here." I said defending Percy.

Mr. D: "The fate of the world hangs in the balance. You will accept this quest." He yelled.

Percy: "No we won't." Percy yelled back.

Grover: "Hey everybody." Grover said coming out of nowhere.

Chiron: "Now is not the time." He said towards Grover.

Grover: "I'm sorry but I have news. Sally Jackson is alive. It only looked like she died. Your mother was stolen by Hades." He stated.

Percy: "Which means she is in the underworld with Hades." He said hopeful.

Grover: "That's where they want you to go too. If you find her there, I think you can bring her back." He said.

Y/n and Percy: "When do we leave." We both questioned.
