Y/n's P.O.V

For twenty four whole hours I didn't see Daemon Targaryen once,he didn't come to flirt with me or follow me around he simply stayed away. Strangely though I missed him,Daemon's presence over the last couple of days had began to grow on me. I don't understand why though but I just can't stop thinking about him. Maybe that was his plan all along, pester me so much and then leave and hope when gets back I will still be longing for him.

Well he could think again,I might miss him but I certainly wouldn't let on. I decided to help my guardian with some of his paper work today when I received a gift. A young groom approached Thomas's desk with the small box in his hands
"Yes" Thomas says not looking up from the paper in his hand
"My lord Cromwell there is a package here for Lady Y/n" the groom says.

Thomas looks up from the paper and at the young boy before him
"A gift? Who from?" Thomas asks
"I don't know sir,their was a note beside the box and a few gold coins and the note said to deliver the box here" the groom says
"Leave the box" Thomas says dismissing the groom,once the groom had gone Thomas called to me
"Y/n there is something here for you?" I walk over to the desk and see the small box.

"I hope its not from Hastings" I say
"If it is then send it back" Thomas says"Do you want me to open it?"
"Please" I say,I watch as Thomas picks up the box and takes off the brown paper it is wrapped in as he does so a note falls on to the table. I pick up the paper and read
'A beautiful lady deserves something equally beautiful to wear' their was no name on the note.

"I think it is from Hastings" I say looking up from the note
"Actually I don't think it is" Thomas says
"Why not?" I ask
"Take a look for your self" Thomas says handing the box to me,inside the box is a beautiful purple and gold dragon necklace

I take the necklace from the box to get a better look at it in the light
"It would appear that this gift is from the Targaryen prince" Thomas says
"But why would he send me this? I'm nothing special" I say putting the necklace back down
"Well it seems to me that you have caught his attention" Thomas says.

"I know Daemon has been flirting with me for a few days now" I say
"You didn't say anything to me about it" Thomas says standing up
"I didn't think he was serious..." I say trailing off
"It would appear he is" Thomas says picking up the necklace "But are you interested in him?" I look at the necklace in Thomas's hand. I mean sure Daemon is gorgeous but he could turn out to be like Hastings.

"I guess I could see how truly serious Daemon is,and it might get Hastings to back off" I say taking the necklace from Thomas and putting it on
"We can only hope."
