Owen blinked and he was back in his bed, alone and definitely didn't have his hands on some random guy's shoulders. He couldn't remember why that even happened in his dream. Too random to think about it twice.

Picking himself up, Owen moved around his room to get ready for school, irritated that he didn't think through to what he'd wear. If only he hadn't been lazy last night.

Now it'll take him a few extra minutes and that meant that he might miss the morning bus. That meant that he might miss the morning bus where he meets and greats Georgia before school.

Cursing with the words he could remember early in the morning, Owen got to work, rushing down the house, barely shouting a 'good morning' to the rest of his family to head out the door, slamming it behind.

Struggling to keep him bag on his shoulders, Owen cursed more when he saw Georgia climbing into the bus before it took off. More curse words flew out of Owen's mouth. He kicked the ground like that'd help with his case.

"I see young man's bus was missed..."

Turning around, Owen glared at his best friend, Hector, who casually walked from his house, opening the driver's side door to his second-hand car. So, Hector always lived two houses from Owen, since childhood really. But Owen wanted to take the bus once he found out that Georgia moved two more houses down from Hector, and she uses the public transport.

"Are you going to get in?"

Grumbling, Owen slagged into the other side, continuing to glare at his best friend.

"Why are you showing that expression to me?! Not my fault you woke up half broken..."

"I know, I'm just upset that I didn't get to say 'good morning' to Georgia today..." Owen fiddled with his fingers on his lap.

Hector shook his head at how stupid his friend was behaving. He's never been like that, and it made Hector want to laugh so bad that he wouldn't mind if he passed out. "Stop being such a baby, you're going to see her during your science period and so on."

Owen sulked even more. "But I didn't say good morning..."

Hector regretted asking to help his friend. Sure, Owen was his best mate, but finding him sulking about some girl who just moved over, it was making him bored. Owen used to be fun. Especially when they'd spend time with their group of friends to play soccer and stuff.

"Fine, you know what? I'll buy you your favorite ice cream if you'll stop talking about your crush for the rest of this ride."

Owen rolled his eyes, finally sitting back up, relaxed like he usually is. "Fine, but I'm not really saying it for the ice cream. I need the distraction before I vomit from the nervousness of not knowing how to make a move on Georgia."

Hector muffled his laugh, turning the car onto the school's parking lot. "Get out of my car you weirdo."

Both the boys got out, locking the car behind before joining with the rest of the students who're filling inside the building. Mornings outside the school was always peaceful. The inside... not so much. Every angle you turn would hold a few students chattering together about god knows what until the bell rang for the first lesson.

It went the same for Owen and Hector where they soon walked up to their lockers where Josh and Ben were already waiting for them.

"I see Owen rode with you," Josh snickered towards Hector. They all understood that meant that Owen didn't get to see his new crush.

Hector patted his best friend's shoulders before dumping all his books for the day into his locker. "Leave the poor baby alone."

Owen ignored his friends and stirred the topic onto when they'll be playing soccer at the park next. It successfully did it's job and his friends were planning for the Thursday to get together to kick the ball in the field soon. Owen tried to focus, honestly, but his eyes just continued to wonder to find Georgia.

In the midst of doing so, his eyes caught a short boy looking his way, expression like he was daydreaming. Owen couldn't help but give an acknowledging nod towards the guy, Kyle. The boy in return, who'd snapped from his thought, caught the nod and gave one back. Though it looked like he forced it out and was biting his lips together.

Owen couldn't help but think that it was cute.

The students who're in the same classes as Owen and Kyle knew that the shorter boy had a small crush, or a flushed feeling of sorts, for the taller. Poor Kyle never acted on it since he knew that Owen was one of his straight, classmate.

In return, Owen was thankful because he didn't know how to address a rejection back to the poor, puppy-looking guy.

Just as his thoughts ran cold of a situation so guilty-filled, he noticed Georgia walking past Kyle with her friends towards their class. Now Owen couldn't definitely go over and talk, when she's with other people.

But, it felt nice to see her face from time to time.

"Or just creepy at how often you look around trying to find her..."

Owen snapped back to reality to find Hector giving him a petty look.

"Just go ahead and talk to her. It's not your first time talking to a girl. Tell her that you like her and want to get to know her more." Hector hung a hand over Owen's shoulder, pulling him close. "Girl's don't mind that. As long as you make it sound like you are interested in her from every aspect, they'll buy into it."

Owen frowned, letting his friend steer the way towards class. "But I am interested in her from every aspect."

His friends laughed around him, hooting. "Sure, sure Owen."

Owen didn't get why they didn't take him seriously. So, that's when he decided that he was going to do something about this Georgia. Like how Hector explained, it'll be easy. It would also prove to his friends on how seriously he was with this girl. And, it'll help him actually get closer, or be the farthest away - depending on how she reacts - to Georgia.

So, that was the plan. Owen was going to make a move. And he was going to score.

Hopefully.

Because he actually did like the girl.
