Ensnaring

Kay cracked her eyes open. It was still dark and the shark-man snored beside her. She sat up slowly in bed and poked him. He didn't move and his snoring wasn't interrupted. She slid out of the bed and silently padded over to Kisame's cloak and clothes. Samehada hissed as she approached. "Oh hush ya big baby" she whispered as her hands searched his clothes pockets for a scroll or a piece of paper, anything that contained information!

Her fingers brushed over a thin scroll in his cloak pocket and she pulled it out. Taking a quick glance to ensure that Kisame was still asleep, she opened the scroll and quickly read the information.

She silently walked over to the small desk in the room and grabbed a piece of paper, a brush and some ink. She quickly copied the information onto the paper and rolled Kisame's scroll back up and placed it into his cloak pocket. When the ink was dry she folded the paper, tip-toed over to Kisame and left a soft kiss on his cheek before she closed her eyes, made a sign with her hand and vanished from the room.

With a silent woosh Kay appeared in the room Shinju booked. She took a hot shower and replaced the bandage Kisame put on her. After putting on her pajamas she crawled under the covers and drifted off into much needed sleep.

What felt like minutes later a foot was kicking her awake. "5 more minutes Jujube" she muttered as she rolled over, dragging the covers over her head. "Now!" A voice snarled and a hand reached down and grabbed her roughly. "Ok! Jeeze! I'm awake!" Kay said as she sat up and rubbed the sleep from her eyes.

She looked into a pair of chocolate brown eyes as blue chakra strings hung from the man's finger tips. "Get dressed, you're coming with us, yeah!" A blonde man said with a smirk. Kay stood up slowly and looked around the room. Shinju was gone thankfully and she grabbed her clothes and dressed in front of the two men.

The blonde looked away blushing and she chuckled. "What? Haven't you seen a naked woman before?" She asked teasingly and the man muttered something but all she caught was the "Un!" at the end of it. "Hurry it up!" The red headed man growled and she sighed as she slipped her sandals on. "Ok I'm ready. Let's go" she said.

Blue chakra strings wrapped around her wrists and arms and tightened as Sasori made sure the bonds were secure. "Don't make any moves, yeah. I'll blow you up, un!" "Is that a promise or a threat?" She asked him, licking her lips. Deidara stuttered and backed away but not before wrapping a chakra charged collar around her neck. "Let's go" Sasori grumbled as he pulled the kunoichi to him and exited the room.

After an hour of walking, the trio entered a clearing where a large clay bird sat. "We're going flying?! Awesome!" Kay cheered when she saw the bird. "WHY CAN'T YOU ACT LIKE A NORMAL WOMAN?! HM! YOU SHOULD BE SCARED OF US, UN!" Deidara ranted, flailing his arms as his face went red. "Why should I be scared of you? It's a puppet and a child who plays with clay" she sneered. Sasori held Deidara back, preventing the younger man from attacking their target.

Using the chakra strings Sasori forced Kay onto the bird and Deidara climbed on, still fuming about being called a child. "Hey, just for curiosity's sake, where are we going?" She asked. With a menacing growl and emotionless eyes, Sasori answered "the Akatsuki request your presence" before delivering a blow that knocked her unconscious.

"KAAAAAAAY!" Shinju called as she opened the door. "I have food! Your favourite too: shrimp tempura uramaki! Kay?" She asked the empty room. The bed was a mess, clothes littered the floor and her sandals were gone.

Setting the food on the table Shinju walked further into the room. Their bags were still there and looked untouched. She knelt down and touched the pajamas on the floor. Still warm. "Kay! C'mon this isn't funny!" She called out to the silent room. She threw the pajamas away from her in frustration and her eyes widened at the folded paper she found underneath them. Her fingers grabbed it and unfolded the paper being careful not to tear it.

In Kay's sloppy writing was a list of names and locations. She noticed the mark next to a set of coordinates and the heavy underlining of said coordinates. Gathering their bags she left the room, settled the bill and headed away from the inn, towards the coordinates.

A loud smack rang through the air and she hissed as she felt the sting. Her head hurt from the repeated blows but she refused to say anything. "Speak!" A gloved hand grabbed her jaw and pulled her against her chains. Her shoulders and wrists screamed from the unnatural position. "Tell me what I want to know" he growled as his fingers dug into her skin.

Chuckling the bloodied and battered woman raised her head so as to look the man in the eye. "Take me to dinner first" she rasped out and earned herself another punch to her jaw. She groaned as she felt blood dripping from her mouth.

A bicolored man with a fly trap emerged from the ground. "Madara-sama the other one is on her way" he said while bowing respectfully towards the man. "If this works then we'll finally have a fresh meal".

"Madara? This is the great Madara Uchiha? I have to say that I'm disappointed. I don't remember him being described as a skinny whiny bi-" another punch stopped her from speaking.

"Good work Zetsu. We'll wait for the other. We don't want to kill this one just yet" he said as he knelt down and raised Kay's battered and bleeding face with his finger. She could barely keep her green eyes open but they fixated angrily on the Uchiha. "Fuck you!" she spat. Madara laughed as he wiped her spit off his mask. "Take a rest will you?" He said before landing a hard punch to her head. Kay dropped to the floor, chains rattling around her and blood seeping from her wounds.

Shinju checked the map and the coordinates. She wasn't far and she resumed her pace hoping to get to her companion quickly. Why was she taken? What do they want? Questions ran through her mind and she fought to keep calm, to analyze her surroundings and information as Kay had taught her. She performed hand signs and focused her chakra at her feet. Her speed increased and large swathes of landscape passed her in a blur.

Jumping from trees to rocks to running along grassy hills, her pace never lessened as she ran towards what? She didn't know.
