Author's Note: As promised, the next part of Catty! I'm pretty sure this story is still gonna be a decently long one. Anyways, I didn't have a good title for this part, so I just went with a fun part from it.

 Grian's POV:

 My ears went back with the wind as we sped through the Nether roof and down to Cub's portal. Scar gripped tightly to me, " Cub's going to be okay.... Cub's going to be okay...." Scar whispered to himself over and over until we landed at the portal. 

 I gently turned my head towards him and rubbed my head and muzzle against him; a soft purr came out of me, but I didn't stop it this time around. Scar was stressed; so stressed that I could hear his rapid heart beat. 

 I don't want him to be like this. Scar needs to be fully alert of this situation. 

 Gently, I rubbed my paw against Scar causing him to readjust how he was holding me, " Y-You alright G-man?" he questioned as I looked up at him and meowed quietly. Scar blinked and slowly reached his hand up to his neck. 

 " You can feel it... can't you?" Scar questioned as I nodded slightly.

 Loud and clear. Very loud in fact. 

 'Course a heartbeat is slightly off from the actual pulse, but it was still going fast nonetheless. 

 My tail twitched as Scar put me onto his shoulder as Void joined us on the ground. The bee hybrid's wings twitched, " You two alright?" he questioned as the two of us immediately nodded.

 Void looked to the portal, " Well, thanks for waiting for me, I guess. Let's get inside and see if we beat the cat woman to Cub's home." he nodded his head as he walked into the portal causing it to ripple. 

 Slowly, Void's body disappeared until he was on the other side. I looked over at Scar as he nodded and entered the portal too. 

 I won't lie. This is the second time I went through the portal in this cat body, and it still feels horribly wrong. 

 Is it because of how quickly I go through? 

 Is it because of how my fur feels when the ripples of the portal rub against it? 

 My tail twitched as I blinked a couple of times. It still felt weird to not have any glasses. There's not much of a point in me even trying to focus without them, but I still blinked like I always did when I exited from a portal. 

 It was all instinct. 

 I looked over at Scar and then around the sandy room. Void and Cub were nowhere in sight. My tail twitched as I frowned. Void just entered the portal. How did he disappear so quickly?

 Where did he go? Where was Cub? 

 " CUB? VOID?" Scar called out as he started to walk forward.

 " MROW?" I flapped my wings and flew into the air. Scar and I looked at each other as yelling came from outside. 

 " I believe we came right on time...." Scar took a deep breath, " Hopefully." 

 The two of us nodded at each other and hurried outside to a battle of epic proportion. Well, it was actually the end of an epic battle. 

 Cub and the cat lady had been battling for some time. Cub was in his lab coat, but it was horribly torn. The hybrid's whole body was shaking as he clutched his bleeding arm. Meanwhile, the cat lady's ears and tail was twitching erratically. 

 " Mrrow?" I looked around the immediate area. Once again, where was Void? Did the portal send him to a different location? 

 My tail thrashed slightly before drooping again. I looked over towards Scar as he pointed towards a large crystal. My entire body puffed up as I meowed with alarm. While avoiding the battle that had now since resumed, the two of us hurried our way over to Void as he tried to pull his lower half out of the blue crystal. 

 " How did this happen?" Scar questioned as Void groggily looked up. The bee hybrid looked over at Cub, " Cub did this... I guess I spooked him, and he threw one of Scar's crystals at me. 

 Void crossed his arms, " Look, we can worry about getting me out of thiz ztupid mezz later. Go help Cubfan before he loses his strength like the others."

 Scar and I nodded at him then turned back towards the action. Cub was just barely dodging actions now. Each swipe that the cat lady launched towards Cub was getting closer and closer to his face. 

 Cub kept moving backwards as his good hand glowed slightly. 

 " I'm sorry to say this, but I'm not letting you complete your revenge plan." Cub spoke quickly as he swiftly punched the cat woman in her chin with his glowing fist. The lady jumped back and hissed as her orange ears twitched. 

 The woman clutched at her jaw causing blue streaks of light to jolt through her face.

 Vex magic?

 Vex magic!

 I looked towards Scar as he took out his sword and hurried into the battle. With a flap of my wings, I followed after the wizard.

 " Cub! Tag in!" Scar yelled as the bear hybrid quickly nodded and moved out of the way as Scar leapt at the lady with his sword. The woman hissed and avoided the slash of the sword.

 " Damn you hermits.... I thought I escaped you and that fleabag." The lady hissed. I hissed back as my fur fluffed up.

 Rude.

 I don't even have fleas. I could have dandruff but not fleas. 

 Scar let out a growl, " Don't insult my friend!" he snarled as he swung his sword again and the cat woman ducked under it. Scar kept swinging against the woman until she was against the river. 

 " You're coming with us to X's base, and you're going straight to being imprisoned for good." Scar narrowed his eyes, " I'm sick of trying to be nice." he growled more.

 The lady simply grinned at him and crossed her arms behind her back. I narrowed my eyes then looked towards Scar, " Mrrow?" I pointed towards the cat lady with a small hiss afterwards. 

 " Right!" Scar swiftly nodded, " On top of that, you are to turn Grian back to his normal bird-human self!" 

 When Scar finished his sentence, the lady nodded slightly, " Right... Right... I suppose I have been cornered.... Cornered like a rat." 

 The woman looked towards me, " Very well... Go ahead and regain your lost human form..." she sighed as her ears twitched. I looked towards Scar cautiously as he nodded and raised his sword further towards the woman, " Don't make any sudden movements...." 

 I flapped my wings and slowly approached the woman as she cocked her head to the side. My fur bristled as I bit into the woman's shoulder, right where she bit me, and I felt an overcharge of magic flow through me. 

 My feathers and fur fluffed up as I continued to chomp down into her shoulder. The woman hissed, " THAT IS ENOUGH!" she yelled as her hand clutched against my throat. I gasped as I froze up,  "MRRP?" I started to thrash as my eyes widened. 

 " GRIAN!" Cub, Scar, and Void all yelled as I was thrown towards the water. Before I completely plunged into the river, I spotted Scar trying to fight off the woman. Of course, I couldn't see the rest of the battle because I hit the cold water with a giant splash. 

 I looked at my paws as the toes slowly grew out into fingers as I struggled to swim upwards. Unfortunately, I couldn't get far as a webbed hand grabbed my leg and started to drag me under as my last air bubble popped. 

 The last thing I saw before losing consciousness was Void swimming towards me.
