Cats, the furry animals with a flat nose, big whiskers and odd behavior. But are they really animals?

Cats are a strange and mysterious existence, I think that. Over the time period of about five years, we have had many cats in our house. They were basically stray cats who would somehow sneak inside the house and meow until we gave them food. Then, once fed, they would become freeloaders. Now this behavior is really common to all animals but what is really strange, is the tale from now.

We all think that cats are cute and fluffy and such wonderful beings, but they are probably the meanest creatures alive. They probably even leave humans behind in that area. Whenever I go to pet my cat or touch it, she would hit me and run away to a location I can't reach but when she wants food or affection, she would rub herself against my legs and call out in a passionate voice till she is fed. And when she has eaten, she would just lay anywhere or start chasing flies.

But I think that they purposely play dumb and run after the laser light so foolishly. There are more than a few happenings where cats have been extraordinarily smart and intelligent. People say that when you leave a cat somewhere, she makes that place her home and doesn't bother returning and even forgets the way but one of my many cats, displayed an odd behavior. She was the ugliest cat I had ever seen, so I named her Bhaddi after the urdu word for ugly. Bhaddi once, annoyed us so much that we decided to tie her up in a bag and leave her a butcher's place. We felt relieved and peaceful when she was gone but then guess what happened? She returned. So we left her to another place in the opposite direction. But, she returned again! She found her way to our home, which was about 20 kilometers away and she managed it in 2 days, unscathed. And when she returned, she meowed so loudly as if a King saying to his people, "I have returned my loyal subjects". She was a scary cat.

Sometimes, I think cats have started to acquire human traits and habits because one of them made a human-like face of confusion with eyebrows raised and mouth curled when I started talking to her in Japanese, out of reflex. One of my other cats even learned to speak a word or two. Whenever he would ask for food, we would tell him to ask mama and no sooner than two meal times, he would directly go to our mother and say, "mama". Also sometimes our cats would stand on their back legs like we do and sit on the sofa or a chair, like humans normally do, with their legs crossed.

Cats appear more of beings from another planet than from our own, where we, humans are the intelligent ones. I think that cats are aware of what we say and so and they just play dumb and cute to infiltrate our houses before they take over the world. That being said, they are already in almost every house and almost on every street. So, if this indeed, is an invasion, I think they have already won.
