[First day of winter - Tord's POV]

/Wow... It sure is cold out.../ Tord thought to himself. He was walking outside to the grocery store, bundled up in a red hat with "devil horns" on top, a pastel red scarf with rainbow Pom-poms on the end,  his all-famous red hoodie, a pair of black cotton gloves, blue jean pants with small rips on the knees, and his normal pair of shoes. The snow on the ground was a sight to see. Exactly 1/2 inch of snow. It glistened like a billion tiny shards of glass on the ground---it wasn't though, of course.

As Tord arrived at the store, he frantically looked through all the cards and found the perfect one. It was under the label "For him." He picked out one that had a guitar on front and said "This card is for the best player in the world..." Tord opened the card. It read "...of guitars, that is! Merry Christmas!" Tord picked out a bright-neon red envelope for it and put it in his cart. He then rolled it over to the boxes. He had a couple measurements written down on a small, folded-up piece of paper that was shoved in his pocket. He looked at the paper, and then at a box, and then again at another box. Once he found a box that fit all the measurements, he bought them both. He then drove down to the "Ol' Guitar Shoppe." As he talked to the person behind the desk for what seemed like forever, he finally convinced the lady he was Tom's friend coming to pick up his guitar, and said "Tom is out of town, I'm just picking this up for him." The lady gave the checkered guitar to him. "Thanks," Tord said, "Tom will be happy to see this when he gets back." Tord then went out to his car and put the guitar carefully in the box. Tord wrote delicately in full cursive on the card to ensure Tom would not recognize his handwriting. Tord then put a dark blue ribbon around the big, Sky-blue and sea-green checkered box. He tied the ribbon in a big, beautiful bow. As he was driving home, he was thinking of a plan on how to sneak the box in the house. As he pulled up, however, he realized Edd's car was missing. "I guess they went out somewhere," Tord whispered to himself. Tord carefully set the box under the tree. "I hope Tom is glad they fixed it," Tord said, "finally." he remarked sarcastically.

[Author's note!]

You should check out my friend's stories!! @wolfannamoonshine I don't know if it tagged correctly or not lol. I guess I'll see when I submit this.
