We made it out of the arena okay, but we kept close until we found our families. Once we did, it was an interesting time explaining how we knew what to say without speaking of the woods. The woods were our secret, never to be shared. We all headed to my house for some lunch. Once we all got settled in at home, there was a knock on our front door.

"Yes?" I asked the stranger.

"Are you the cat who was in the arena?" The stranger asked.

"Who wants to know?" I countered.

"Excuse me, where are my manners, I'm James. I work for the government and since it was your idea, we want your help." He replied.

"Alrighty James, I'll help ya, just as soon as I get some food in me, and if it's alright with Sara." I told him.

His eye lit up when I said Sara. "Sara's here too?"

"Yes." I said.

"Can I come in?" He asked.

"As long as you don't ask too many questions." I stepped back from the door and led him into the living room.

"Sara this is James, James this is Sara." I introduced the two.

"So, you're the infamous Sara?" He asked.

"Yeah, why? Do you have a problem with it?" She snapped.

"No, no, not at all." He hurried.

"Easy you two." I told them.

Sara glared at James. "So, you want to steal Alex from your government crap?" She spat out government as if it left a bad taste in her mouth.

"I'm not going to 'steal' him, I'm just going to need his help." He made air quotes with his claws.

"Yeah sure, that's what you all say, then you end up taking them for more and more and more time out of the day until he practically lives there." She sure was peeved about it.

"Not at all." James responded with, trying hard not to go nuts on her.

"Easy now." I said, getting worried fist might start flying. I inched over so I was in between the two. "Look, the only way I'm going, is if Sara goes with me."

"I ain't ever going." She said.

"Then I'm staying." I said. "Sorry James, goodbye."

"Wait, we need you two, we need you both, it was your idea." He was seriously frantic right now.

"James just wait on the front porch, okay?" He did as I asked. As soon as he left I turned toward Sara. "He does need us, as far as I know I'm the only one who truly knows how to live in the wild, I know how to make a fire, fish, tell time by the sun, skin a fish, hunt, and set up a living style in the woods. Name one other person who knows all that?"

She couldn't, no one could. She was still determined though. "I may not be able to, but this will take over your life."

"No, I'll teach a few people who teach a few more and so on, so forth." I assured her. "But I'm not going unless you come with me."

"Fine, I'll go, but when I say it's time to leave, we are gone." She said reluctantly.

I walked back to the front door and opened it. "We'll leave after lunch, but when we are ready to come back home, we're gone."

"Absolutely." I had a sudden feeling that Sara might just be right.
