You go with Charlene to her place. It's a pretty decent place. She lives in a fancy condo with a pool outside and since her parents own a fancy restaurant. She says, "Here it is. It ain't much, but I do have a pool." 

Catnap says, "Not much? You kidding me, girlie? This is luxury compared to what I was living in." You say, "Yeah. Me too. And I was living with two friends before I... moved in with Catnap here." She looks at both of you and says, "Stay with me for a while. I insist."

You say, "You are a real life saver, lovey. Catnap and I were getting close to being homeless if we didn't get a job." Charlene says, "Yeah. I know what you mean. My parents expected a lot out of me. My mom put me in beauty pageants when I was a kid. Made me eat very little with my diet being just salad."

Catnap says, "Sounds pretty pushy, doesn't she?" She says, "Yeah. High expectations do that to you. Do you guys want to know why you were hired on the spot without having to fill out an application?" You say, "Why's that?"

She sighs and says, "It's because the two of you are attractive. My dad says the better looking the employees, the better service we have. The more customers we draw near." You say, "That's rather shallow, ain't it?" Catnap says, "It's L.A., Kitten. Some places here especially Hollywood are picky about who they choose. Guess we were lucky to be hot in their eyes." 

Charlene says, "He does make a point." You say, "Right. At least we got the job." Charlene says, "You two come with me. I'll show you around and get you to the bathroom for you two to wash up. My parents expect it. But hey. Congrats. You got the job." You say, "Much appreciated, lovey." Charlene shows you around.

Later on after a shower and dinner with Charlene, you and Catnap are in the living room. It's 10pm. Charlene's in her room asleep. She has a spare bedroom for you and Catnap to sleep in. You thanked her for the hospitality until you and Catnap got your own place.

You're both watching Animaniacs on TV. It's an episode where the Warner brothers and sister see Hello Nurse for the first time and Yakko and Wakko are smitten while Dot is just questioning them. You laugh a bit and you say, "I like this show. I really do." Catnap says, "Anyone realize that this show has some... innuendo in it?" You say, "I've noticed that quite a bit, too. Even when Yakko says goodnight, everybody."

You reach into your bag and you feel something. You say, "Huh?" Catnap looks at you and says, "What is it?" You pull out a little piece of paper and you look at it. You gasp and you say, "It's Huggy's number." He says, "Oh yeah. He did give us his number, didn't he? Poor guy was running away, too." 

You say, "We should call him. See if he's alright." Catnap says, "Alright. These long distant calls though." You say, "It'll be alright. I'm sure Charlene won't mind. Look at her place." You both look around and you look at Catnap saying, "A phone call from several states away won't hurt." He says, "Alright. I'll call him." You hand him the number. 

He gets up and walks to the side table next to him. He picks the phone up. He looks at the number and he dials it. He waits for it. He suddenly get this, "H-hello?" He recognizes the voice and he says, "Hey. Huggy Wuggy. It's me. Catnap." "Catnap! Hey, buddy. Where are you guys? Trust me, I'm not gonna tell a soul where you guys are. I'm running too. I've done worse than what you did." "We're in L.A." "L.A.? Wise choice... I mean it. You guys did it. You got out of Baltimore jurisdiction."

Catnap looks over at you and faces the phone. He says, "Listen, Huggy. You have a car, right?" "I do." "Good. Drive yourself here. Come to L.A. You'll also be further away from Baltimore jurisdiction once they would find out about you." 

Huggy says, "I will. I'm coming to L.A. I'm fed up with this stupid job at this stupid damn gas station, anyways. I need to reconnect with old classmates. We were in different leagues, but I've changed. That Mommy Long Legs is such a bitch. I know she had to set me up somehow when it comes to Vicky." Catnap says, "Find us, Huggy. Los Angeles. Santa Ana is where we're staying." "I'll be on my way, asap. I'm leaving first thing in the morning." 

He hangs up and you look over. You say, "What did you say to him?" He looks at you and he says, "I told Huggy to come to L.A. He'll be further away than he is now from jurisdiction." You say, "That's probably a good idea. I'm glad he's changed over the years." Catnap walks over and sits with you. You both continue watching TV.

Meanwhile back in Baltimore. Mommy Long Legs is at her place. She hasn't spent enough time with Daniel, raising suspicion from him. Dog Day and Vicky did warn him about her. Besides, Danny is way too good for her. And the truth was about to unravel here.

Mommy is sitting on her couch in the living room. She giggles and she says, "Ooh, poor poor Vicky thought it was actually Huggy himself calling her and acting weird. Saying he wanted her back. But nope." She brings a little device up and she chuckles.

She says, "This little voice changer did the trick. I called them, myself. Used this voice changing device to activate Huggy's voice. I made it look good. Oh, the poor fools fell for it. Oh well." She sits back and she says, "But Vicky's not the one I want to kill. Or Dog Day... it's that damn (Y/N) (L/N) once I see her, again. Kill her and take her hot and sweet Catnap. That's my main goal. Bye bye, (Y/N)... Hello, Catnap baby.~" She chuckles.
