"Mr. Leprechaun might I ask a request of you?"

"The name is Jareth, you may ask anything you wish. However, I shall not set you free you belong to me."

"Is it true Jareth that if you say a certain phrase you must give me whatever I ask no matter how bad the trade is?"

"Tis true there is such a phrase but it's not well known and I'm certainly not going to tell you what it is." I said with a smile.

"Is it, mine be yours and yours be mine?"

"Where'd you learn that phrase?" I asked frowning. "Since you seem to know so much about leprechauns and deals how about we raise the stakes? I shall  offer you a once in a lifetime bargain. I'll set your family free should you choose to marry me."

"I learned the phrase from From my grandpa. He said that no matter how bad the trade you have to honor it. I will agree to raise the stakes. If you guess what my desire is then I will remain your slave. If you fail then I can go free and you must still do whatever it is I ask of you."

"Very well. I agree to your challenge. What is your trade? My gold?"

Catherine shook her head no. "This is what I'll do three guesses is what you get, guess right and I'll be your pet."

"I suppose you want your freedom."

"No." Catherine said surprising the me. "One more guess is all you get."

"You want me to promise never to harm your family my pet."

"That too is  incorrect well partially any way. My wish was for you to remove the curses you placed upon my family. I guess I'll be going now, thanks for freeing me."

"I  can never set you free. The deal your mother made was forever binding. It's a deal that I can't undo. However, I will grant your wish but not entirely. I will remove one curse from your family. However, it will be a cures of my choosing, You will not know which curse has been reversed. Do we have a deal?"

"Jareth?"

"Yes Catherine?"

"You said that you were willing to make a binding bargain a once in a lifetime offer? If recall, you said that if I willingly agree to marry you, you would set my family free from all the curses you placed on them is that correct?"

"Yes, that is what I offered to do, unfortunately for you, the time for you agree to that is long past due."

"Wait, please, I made my decision, I will agree to marry thee so long as my family is set free."

"I swear upon me last shilling, Your family will be free once you marry me. Oh and one more thing, a deal with me is forever binding." I said placing a gold choker necklace around her neck.

"So be it. I'll sign the deal."

However, Before Catherine and I  could seal the deal Maurice burst into the lair. "Free my daughter you monster or so help me I'll send you back from whence you came! " Maurice said glaring at me.

"Hi diddly dee you can't hurt me" I taunted him and laughed.

Maurice smiled. " I beg to differ you see my bursting in here was a distraction. While you were paying attention to me my wife stole your gold. Now free my daughter or you'll never see your precious gold again!"

"You are a fool if you think I'll fall for that. My gold is safe I know that's true if it weren't it would be the death of you. Instead of threatening me gold, why not let your daughter choose. If she wishes to be free that's fine by me. I'll not hold her back even though a slave I'll lack. Someone to see you Catherine" I  said with a smile and a wave of my hand.

Catherine came into the room and looked directly at her father. "Father, I do not need to be rescued. I am not his slave and even if I were I wouldn't return with you. Not after how mom betrayed me. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a wedding to plan." Catherine replied.

"Wedding? What wedding?" Maurice said with a frown.

"You heard my bride to be, she desires to stay with me."

"What do you mean bride to be?" Turning to Catherine Maurice noticed the necklace around Catherine's neck. "That necklace I've seen it before. That's the necklace Crystal once wore. When you cursed her to be your bride for stealing your gold. It forces the wearer to do your will. You forced Catherine say what she did didn't you? You forced her to agree to be your bride!" Maurice said angrily.

"No father he did not, I made this choice of my own free will." Catherine replied stepping between her father and I.

"That can't be." Maurice replied then turning towards me angrily he demanded "release my daughter from that necklace's evil spell."

"Is that what bothers you? Her engagement necklace? By all means your free to take it off of her. Though I doubt she'll go with thee."

"We will just have to wait and see won't we?" Maurice replied as he walked over and removed the necklace from Catherine's neck. "There, your free from his evil spell. He has no more claim on you. Your free lets go home." Maurice pleaded holding his hand out towards Catherine.

Catherine shook her head and quietly uttered a no as she walked over to my side. I smiled "you see she wants to be my bride. Now if you'll excuse me it's time I kiss my bride to be."

Maurice turned towards me and pleaded. "Wait I wish to make a trade. Since we last fought I learned a trick or too about the likes of you. All I have to do is say a special phrase and you'll have no choice but to give me what I desire."

"Oh?" I said raising my eyebrow. "And what phrase might that be?"

"What's mine be yours..."

"How did he know that wretched phrase?" However, Catherine was one step ahead of him and right before he could finish the wretched saying Catherine threw something into his mouth.

"Did you forget, I know the saying too. If I had wanted to be free I'd have freed myself.  I chose to make this deal to be his bride and stay forever by his side." Catherine replied.

"You see," I laughed, "this deal is legal and completely unbreakable even if you had finished that wretched phrase. Catherine made this deal of her own free will. There is nothing you can do to stop this Union from happening. Soon Catherine will be my bride." I replied using the collar to pull Catherine close to me. "Now look me in the eyes and make your vows." I said to Catherine.

"As you wish my love." Catherine replied looking directly into my eyes.

"No! Maurice screamed watching as Catherine's eyes started turning emerald green.

"I Catherine, take thee to be my husband through eternity." With that Catherine leaned in and kissed me sealing our deal, making it completely unbreakable by anyone.

"No!" Maurice screamed once again but it was too late the deal had been sealed.
