epilogue. 

When the friendly games were over in the United States, Erick tried in vain at first to convince America to stay. He promised she was the only one he loved and finally deciding to forget what happened with Oscar, she decided to give Erick another chance.

She told him they would start off slow at first, being just friends, and later build a relationship if things went well between them. Erick was determined to win her love back. And he agreed to take things slow if that was the way she wanted it.

They settled together in a house in Los Angeles. America was amazed at how beautiful it was. Because she decided to stay with him in the United States, she had to drop out of UNAM and transferred to Cal State Dominguez Hills, the university right next door to the Chivas USA training ground and home stadium.

Oscar was ready to return to Chelsea with his new girlfriend. Though she wasn't the one he knew he could be happy with. And the one he had rejected was with someone else. 

He wondered if he had made the wrong decision when he chose not to forgive her.

Regina made arrangements with her agent to have her start searching for modeling gigs in England. His blonde haired girlfriend didn't just plan to stay with him for a few weeks. Now that she had him, she didn't want to let him go and she thought that if she lived with him, it would be easier to keep him controlled. 

She wanted to prevent him from trying to talk to America. By living with him, she could ocassionally show him pictures of America and Erick. Then it would be easier for him to get over her.

The next day after he returned to Chelsea, he took Regina to watch him practice. She had jetlag because the plane ride was long and she almost froze to death because it was cold and she wasn't used to that type of temperature. But she went to watch him anyway because she needed to show him she was a supportive girlfriend.

All his team mates were very excited to meet her when they saw the beautiful blonde sitting in the stands. Her hands were crossed over her chest and rubbed her bare arms. Oscar had offered to let her borrow one of his jackets, but she declined. All she had to wear were summer dresses, shorts, and tank tops. She had dressed to impress his friends and didn't want to ruin it by wearing an ugly old jacket.

Oscar waved her over and she shot up from her seat. When she reached him, a boy with bright blue eyes smiled at her. "So this is America?" Oscar had introduced him as Eden Hazard. 

"No." The brazilian shook his head. "And I don't want to talk about her anymore please...This is my girlfriend Regina."

His team mates looked at each other, confused. But they shook it off. Whatever it was that had happened to him while in Mexico, they knew he would tell them about it once he was ready to talk. 

"Welcome to Chelsea." Eden told her.

And everyone else just nodded.

i wanted to purposefully end it like this.

so the sequel will be pretty interesting. i know already because i wrote it last week when all my classes got cancelled and i was at school with nothing to do ^.^
