Chapter 12

THIRD PERSON'S POV

In one of the most prestigious hotels in Manila, at the presidential suite.

Yngrid looked at the man in her shoulders. She gave him an unhappy look,

"You won't do anything about your son's dirty deeds?"

"Just let him be, I already know who's behind these killings, There's a personal grudge between us on whoever was the person behind the scene, I am currently preparing on how to arrest him, Why don't you stop on thinking about those things? For now, I am your priority!"

Yngrid felt disgusting all over what the man had said, but he needed him and his money. In these times, one should be practical, her salary as an agent isn't enough, and she has a lot of mouth to feed.

A night with this high paid official is enough to sustain them for months.

But Yngrid can't deny the fact that each time this General penetrates her, it is Blue who did it on her imagination.

Alfred gave her a goblet of wine,
"The reason why I wasn't bothered was Blue isn't my son. He's just my adopted.
He's the proof that I am still a man despite not having the ability to have children. I have a low sperm count. My wife wanted us to have a child, but I can't. So when my wife asked me to adopt Blue, I agreed to make her happy.
It's like compensation because I didn't really love her, I love Lucinda."

Yngrid raised her brow," Oh? Who's that?"

"She's the wife of my ex best friend Manolo, I know I fucked up years ago.. I did a very bad move to be here on what I am now.. Hence, I suspected Manolo was behind all these events."

Yngrid nodded upon the realization,

"Mind to tell me your plans?" She acted interested.

"Not now, But soon.." Alfred caress her cheek.

Despite of being disgusted, Yngrid managed to smile, and lean on his hand like an obedient kitten but deep inside she's cursing him.

"Why don't you die, old man?!'

ASH'S POV

I am busy fixing and cleaning the parts of my sniper gun, I clean the rear well, and fix its position, I made sure to fix well the gun suppressor, so it won't make a sound once the trigger is pulled.

I'm almost done when Mix hurriedly came, while huffing, he said,

"Ash! Dad is missing!"

I jump off the sofa, "What did you say?!"

"Gene notified me when Gene lost contact with Dad, the last time he saw him on his tracking device is alongside Intramuros area."

I picked my hand gun and stuff it on my pants before I run out but the phone in the living room, rings.

I get it and answered," Sanueztre Residence."

"Kana.." a soft voice of a woman was heard on the other line.

"Who are you?"

"Your father is with me, Come here alone in an abandoned metal warehouse near Port 90, Tondo. 7 o'clock sharp. Remember, you alone, if you still want your father alive." Then she dropped the call.

I was stunned while still holding the phone.

"What did she say?" Mix hot my attention, I didn't even notice him.

"Call Gene, tell him I need the Blueprint of Port 90, we need to plan this out, Dad is in danger."

BLUE'S POV

"This assignment is for you to arrest Alyas Kana, dead or alive. We got a tip from our informants that they will be having an important transaction along Port 90, later at 7 o'clock."

"Yes Director!" We said in unison.

Is this what Ash told me?
I remembered our conversation that night.

"Dad said, if I cannot do it, he will be the one to do it, I don't want him to dirty his hands on behalf of us. So if you will be angry at me, I will accept."

"Why does your father had this severe obsession on killing these people, putting the law in your hands? I know this isn't just a vigilant thing baby, I suspect that there's more heavy reason behind all this." I hugged him, aiming to give comfort.

"I'm afraid about the outcome of all this." Ash whispered as he tried to freed himself on my hold.
"After this mission, I will surrender."

"No! The justice system here in the Philippines is not fair. I will think of a way out! Just call me if you will do your last mission." I forced him to look at me and convince him that he isn't alone this time.

He just nodded at me, but until now, Ash didn't call me.

"Ash, did you also plan to give up on me?" I whispered on myself after that sudden reminisce.

"Velez! Let's go, I hope you do your Job well this time." Yngrid whispered at me.

I just glared at her and walk ahead.

THIRD PERSON'S POV

Ash walk in the asphalt floor in a quick, swift and soundless moves while his brothers hide themselves on the dark parts of the warehouse.
He look at every part of the place while aiming his gun forward, always ready to pull the trigger.

The place is oddly silent but the lights were turn on the moment Ash stood in the middle.

There he saw his father, Manolo.
He's unconscious and was tied on a chair.

"You're late." a voice of a woman appeared on Ash's back, he turn around and saw the familiar woman he had encountered in the bar.

"You?" Ash was flabbergasted, if he clearly remembered it, the woman is named Yngrid and also an agent. She's Blue's partner that night.

"Yes, surprise? I didn't forget what you did to me just to kill Senator Quibranza, I admit that you are indeed very good, but still, I am a woman and you are just a gay, you're a plague against a natural born woman like me." Yngrid smirk at Ash, looking at him with eyes full of disgust.

"So? What do you want to prove? What's the connection abouty sexuality and you kidnapping my father? Witch!" Ash retorted at her.

"Well, your father isn't my business, someone just told me to do it, it is you who I wanted to kill." Yngrid was itching to kill him since the day after they met at the bar, and now is her chance, she get her gun and aimed it to Ash.

"Then, CATCH ME IF YOU CAN, BITCH." Ash grinned at her and fire his gun first, aiming Yngrid's hand which holds the gun, it fell on the floor, Ash shoot it again and it was thrown far away.
After that, Ash shoot Yngrid again but purposely didn't hurt her.

Yngrid was so scared that she ended up screaming in fear.

"What are you dancing? Samba or Salsa?" Ash mocked her the moment his gun finished the bullets inside.

A loud round of applause filled the whole warehouse.

"No wonder my son fell in love with you, Manolo indeed had a great choice of an instrument in his so called revenge."

Ash was fixated in his spot.
When he turn around to look at the man, he is standing at the back of the unconscious Manolo.
It was the man in his last mission, Blue's father, General Alfred Velez.
