ASH'S POV

"This will be your last mission Ash, after this, you will be free to do whatever you want."

I was shocked with what father said, it's really the last? I was just 24! Even if I am still in a state of shock, I accepted the folder.

"I thought when I reached 30, I would stop?"

"Change of plans, Dark Angels has been hot on the law these days."

I scan the file in the folder and read the information.

PNP CHIEF GENERAL VELEZ

My eyes widened when I read the name,

It's Blue's Adoptive Father!

"Dad, this is complicated. This person is untouchable."

"Complicated or you are just reluctant because he's the father of the person you are whoring around?" My father said in a very hard tone, he is angry.

But I couldn't care less, all I heard is the word, whoring.

I look at him with eyes full of disrespect.
" Loving someone is different than whoring around. "

"Did you forget our ultimate rule?" His voice roared the entire study room.

I didn't defend my self at that topic because I know I was wrong.

"He's just his foster father, you can do it, make it fast if you want to be free and you can get out of this family."

"Why do I feel that this is not just a mission, Why do I feel like there's more deeper reason above all this?" I asked him straight, "Do you have a past issue with General Velez?"

"Stop asking baseless question! Prepare yourself."

(3RD PERSON'S POV)

"Manolo,until when will this game be supposed to end?" Luz said in her tired, evident voice.

"Until Velez is alive, This won't end."

Manolo's rage against General Velez rooted when they burned down the orphanage, Manolo's wife Lucinda was in the basement that time, and he suspected that General Velez raped her before he burned the orphanage.
General Velez seduced her, and she was seduced, Lucinda was a famous actress and philanthropist.

Manolo's sister, Luz, helped him to survive and lend him a hand to find suitable families for the orphan children.

Manolo's heart was filled with vengeance, so he selected a few kids to help him do his desired revenge, and then he chose Tawan, Anson, Mix, Gene, and Ash.

As time flew fast, the people involved in that incident slowly died, one by one.

But the sad fact is, the child they chose and treated them as their real parents were turned into a revenge machine.
As time flew fast, Manolo felt guilt, but that guilt can not distinguish the surge of vengeance in his heart.

"But you know that his son has a relationship with your son!" Luz was dumbfounded.

"My son only in name and his son in papers." The conviction of his voice is evident.

"Oh my God, my brother... Don't let your vengeance consume your whole being!"

"Until Velez iz alive, I won't be at peace."

BLUE'S POV

Months passed, and my relationship with Ash continued. we met and always alert that we might get caught. Sometimes, I can't stop myself from thinking that we are having a mischievous secret affair.

"Blue.." Yngrid's sultry voice woke me up on my reverie.

"Hi Yngrid." I flatly said to her, clearly uninterested.

But she smiled widely and didn't even notice my tone.

"Wow, you actually call me on my first name."

"Yeah? So ?" Is it a big deal?

"Nothing.. I'm just surprised at how sexy my name sounded when you said it."

I don't know if I heard it right, but I noticed in her tone that she's trying to seduce me.

"Oh, is that so?" I just said again, clearly displayed my disinterest, without even looking at her I turn to fix the files on my desk.

She snorted at me and put down on my desk a picture. It was a stolen picture of Ash and me hugging each other.

I was shocked, so I glared at her.

"Dating with one of the Kana's really?" she said sarcastically.

I hide my disgust and look at her casually, "What are you trying to do?"

"You get his facial description so you can investigate him further, but it turns out that you two are dating." Yngrid snapped at me, slamming her palm on my desk.

Now that she initiated, I didn't hide my disgust anymore, "Firstly, I didn't remember that we are very close that I gave you the right to meddle on my private matters, secondly, whatever I do with my personal affairs, it's nothing to do with you. And lastly, don't act like you genuinely care. Okay?"

Her eyes widened with shock as she looked at me in disbelief after she heard what I said.

"But he's a criminal! And he's gay Blue!"

"And so? He killed those criminals, Yngrid, please.. Dont make me lose my patience, You won't like it."

"You're an asshole Blue! I will tell your father about this!" She threatened me before running out of the precinct.

She will tell my father? They know each other? When? How?

I was still deep in my thoughts until I arrived at our meeting place in Manila Yacht Club.

I saw Ash is already in the yacht, looking at the dark sea water.

I was thrilled to see him, so I hurriedly made my way to the yacht and hugged him from behind, but he was unresponsive.

"Baby? What are you thinking?"

"Hmmm.." Ash, just lean on me more, feeling my warmth,
But his next words bothered me.

"What if one day I will make a sin, heavier than what I already committed, will you still be able to love me?"

I turn him to face me as I stare in his eyes. "What do you mean?"

Ash close his eyes tight, and drew a heavy breath, "My last mission to be able to make myself free from the organization," His voice is too low that made my heart beat fast in anticipation.

"What is it? Look at me." I caress his face lovingly.

He opened his Misty eyes and locked at me without blinking.

"I need to kill your father."
