A/N: Okay, so I know Will doesn't have anything to do with Season 7. But.. I also don't care. Because I have an addiction and that addiction is Will fucking Scarlet. Okay? Also its my birthday so I do what I want! :D And to whoever ordered the Angst: Your Angst is ready.

Kassidy wandered into Roni's the next afternoon.

"Well lookie there my little jailbird is free." Roni grinned. Kassidy smiled. "Hope our favorite detective wasn't too mean to you."

"He made me eat bologna" Kassidy shuddered.

"That monster."

"I know, I'm terrible." Rogers said as he walked in. "I fed you and gave you a safe place to sleep for a few days." He smiled.

"If that was the case, you wouldn't have locked the big barred door." Kassidy replied.

"It was long overdue if you ask me. and look at the good its done, Its afternoon, and not a spot of trouble from you." Rogers said.

"Oh..you had to say it." Roni sighed.

"Not.. a spot of trouble you say?" Kassidy smiled and handed him his wallet that she took from his pocket.

"You little sneak!"

"Don't be mad because I have talent." Kassidy smiled.

"That talent is going to cost you big one of these days Cole." He said and pointed a finger at her.

"Sure, Detective." She said and rolled her eyes and sipped at her coke while Rogers carried on a conversation with Roni, which came to a sudden hault as Kassidy was yanked backwards out of her seat.

"Whats a pretty little thing like you doing in a place like this?"

Kassidy knew the voice. She knew the voice well but she still let out a startled shriek Alerting Rogers to possible Danger without hesitation he stood, Gun drawn and pointed. The man behind Kassidy put his hands up.

"Whoa. Tell your cop boyfriend to lower his weapon Blondie."

"Its okay Rogers. I know him." Kassidy said. Rogers sighed and put his gun back into the holster and sat back down making sure to keep an eye on the pair.

"Will you bastard!" Kassidy yelled and punched him in the chest.

"Ah, Come now love you don't mean that." Will smiled and pushed her blonde hair out of her face.

"You left me.." Kassidy said and looked away from him. Will tilted her chin up so she was looking him in the eyes again.

"I'm here now." He said and pressed his lips to hers. Rogers couldn't help but roll his eyes.

"Would that be a hint of jealousy, Detective?" Roni asked with a smirk.

"What? No.." Rogers said glancing sideways at Will and Kassidy.

Right?

"Don't worry Detective, he wont be here long..He never is." Roni sighed. Kassidy walked back over to the bar with Will, His arm was around her shoulders and their fingers were laced.

"I'm going to get out of here for a little. I'll see you later." She smiled. Roni nodded.

"Stay out of trouble." She said and gave Will a disapproving glare.

"Come on now Roni.." Will smirked.

"Don't make me get the bat Scarlet." Roni said. Will chuckled and walked Kassidy out of the bar.

"Is he trouble?" Rogers asked.

"Not much. At least when hes here."

"Can you be any less cryptic?" Rogers asked. Roni sighed.

"Long story short, Hes here, everything is Rainbows and butterflies for Kassidy and then just like that hes gone and I'm the one who picks up the pieces." Roni said. Rogers looked towards the door that Kassidy and Will had just walked out of and frowned. He was unsettled by Will's sudden appearance and even more so unsettled of what mess would be left if Roni was right.

Kassidy ran her hairs through Wills short hair and pulled away from Will's lips breathlessly. Her back was pressed firmly against the brick wall outside of Roni's. Her arms linked around his neck and her legs wrapped around his waist. He kissed down her neck, her head tilted back and she sighed.

"I missed you." She said.

"Mm I missed you too." Will said looking at her now with those dangerous dark brown eyes. She thought of how much she had missed them when he left, and how they were all she could see every time she closed her eyes for the months after that.

"Where did you go?" She asked.

"I had some stuff to take care of out of state. You know how it goes." He said.

"How long are you staying?" She asked glancing away from him.

"As long as I can blondie." He said and smiled. "I got a room, wanna come check in with me?"

"Yeah." She smiled and bit her lip. He released her legs and she stood, walking along beside him now.

"So, since when do you get buddy buddy, with the coppers?" He smirked.

"Oh. Rogers? I wouldn't exactly call that buddy buddy."

"He pointed a bloody gun at my head because he thought I was hurting you." Will said.

"He was doing his job, I'm sure he could actually care less. I just spent three nights in a holding cell, and hes the one that put me there." Kassidy said.

"And if I know you, you are hatching a plan to get him back."

"Maybe." Kassidy smiled.

"Maybe? You don't do maybe." Will said. "Really you got feelings for this guy?" Will asked.

"No, Will." Kassidy sighed. "My feelings are for you." She said. His grip on her hand tightened.

"I know love I'm playing.. but let me know if I need to stop and pick up some handcuffs on the way, I could rough you up a little if thats what you're into these days." He smirked.

"Tempting." She laughed.

Kassidy looked around the room Will had brought her too. Wondering how the hell he could have afforded it, Will was into some questionable things and Kassidy typically liked to stay out of it. She looked out the window that had quite the veiw of Seattle.

"Wow." She said.

"Mm..Yeah." Will said coming up behind her wrapping his arms around her waist and kissing her neck just behind her ear making her shiver.

"Its quiet a view." Kassidy said

"Thats not the veiw I was looking at." Will said with a smirk. Kassidy smiled and turned around pressing the side of her head to his chest.

"Can we just..freeze time?" She asked.

"Why?" Will asked.

"Because, I just want to stay like this, with you for as long as I can because I don't want to be alone anymore." Kassidy said. Will felt her tears soaking through his shirt and pressed a kiss to her temple.

"I love you Cole." He whispered. Kassidy pulled away from him and shook her head.

"Don't." She said.

"Don't what love?" He asked.

"Don't tell me that. You can't just throw that word around." She said.

"But I do love you." Will said.

"I..have to go." She said and started walking towards the door. He caught her wrist and pulled her back. She pushed him away.

"What is wrong?" He asked.

"You can't just tell me you love me and then leave me Will!"

"Hey.. I'm not going anywhere." Will said and pulled her back in.

"Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but you will. You always do." Kassidy said and wiped tears away with the sleeve of her jacket. Will pressed his lips to her cheek.

"What if I don't leave this time?" He asked.

"You mean it?" She asked.

"Yeah..It could be just me, and you." He smiled. She was skeptical but there was something different in his eyes this time. He leaned in and Kissed her.

"Just me and you." He repeated.

Kassidy grinned and jumped on him sending them both to the floor.

"I love you too." She said and kissed him

Kassidy in the window, in Wills Tee shirt, her hair was thrown into a messy ponytail. She looked out at the city lights, this room had a nice veiw of the entire city and she had never seen it all at once like this. Will came up behind her and sat down. She leaned back into his chest and smiled up at him.

"Where are we going to live?" She asked.

"Where do you want to live?" Will asked as he ran his hands up the front of her shirt and kissed her ear lobe.

"I've always wanted to see the East coast." She said

"Then thats were we will go." He whispered.

"How will we get there?" Kassidy asked.

"You let me handle all that blondie." Will said. Kassidy pulled away from him.

"What..is it that you do?" She asked. Will sighed.

"The more you know, the more danger I put you in. You know that."

"I know.. its just." She sighed. "Are you in danger?" She asked. Will smirked.

"Nothing I can't handle."

"Are you sure?" She asked.

"Yes, love." He said and stood up. "Now come to bed."

"I'm not ready to go to sleep." Kassidy said.

"I didn't say anything about sleeping." He said and winked. She bit her lip and took his hand.

It had been about a week, and Kassidy and Will had hardly left the room or the bed for that matter. Will looked beside him at Kassidy sleeping peacefully and smiled. His phone vibrated on the night stand he looked down and picked it up and quietly crept out of bed and outside to the balcony to answer it.

"Scarlet." He said.

"Its time to come back to work Scarlet."

Will sighed heavily and pinched the bridge nose.

"Look.. I've had a change of plans. I'm done with this. I'm staying." He said looking back at Kassidy sleeping through the window.

"This isn't a job you just quit Scarlet."

"Well, I don't know what to tell you because I quit." Will said.

The voice on the other end of the phone laughed.

"No, thats not how it works and unless you want something to happen to that pretty little blonde you've been shacking up with all week in Seattle, You'll get on the first bus tomorrow morning."

Will was silent.

"Thats right, Scarlet we have eyes everywhere. I'd hate to mess up that pretty face of hers."

"Listen to me you son of a bitch if you lay one fucking finger on her.." Will threatened. 

"Threaten me again and I'll do it just for fun. Get to work. You've been warned." The line went dead.

"Fuck!" Will hissed and shook his phone. He walked back in the room and Kassidy was sitting up blinking at him.

"Where did you go?" She mumbled half asleep 

"Went out for a smoke love, go back to sleep." He smiled and crawled in bed wrapping his arms around her. She snuggled into him and drifted back to sleep. For Will, however sleep did not come. He laid awake holding Kassidy as closely as he could for as long as he could, because he knew when the first signs of Dawn peeked through the window, and she woke up. He would be gone and he hated it. He hated that he was going to break her heart but it was better than the alternative because He'd never forgive himself if anyone hurt her.

When the very early hours of the morning came he packed up what he could and left her a simple note saying

"I'm sorry."

He looked opened the door to the room and looked back at her with a tear rolling down his cheek.

"See you around Blondie." He whispered before leaving.
