A/N: I've been waiting to use these Gifs of Rogers being a complete badass for ages now so you get them all XD I couldn't decide which one I wanted.  

Rogers and Will stood outside the building going over the plan. With Weaver and his men a few blocks away, and an ambulance and the fire department on standby Rogers was confident this would go off without a hitch. Rogers phone rang and he looked down it was Kassidys number.
He answered it.
"Good, you're on time." The mans voice said into the phone.
"Now what?" Rogers asked.
"Send Scarlet in. You stay outside and once I have what I want The girl will be returned to you."
Rogers nodded at Will and Will went inside.
"He's on his way." Rogers said.
"Good." The man replied and hung up the phone.
"Don't do anything crazy Rogers." Weaver said into the radio. "Stick with the plan."

Will walked into the abandoned building and was met by two men who led him into a room where is boss was.
"Nick." He muttered.
"Will." Nick replied and held his hand out.
"The money."
Will held tightly onto the empty bag in his hand.
"Thats not how this is going to work. I see Kassidy, you get your money." Will said.
"Fine." Nick shrugged and led him down the hall into a separate room Where Kassidy was unconscious and tied to a chair.
"Check her out if you want." Nick said pushing him forward. Will knelt down in front of Kassidy and examined her face.
"Did you have to fucking hit her?" Will demanded running his thumb over the bruising on her face.
"She isn't the most cooperative thing." Nick shrugged. "She's sedated."
Will ran his hand through her curls.
"Kass?"

Flashback/Dream sequence:

"So who is going in?" Tessa asked as the group of teenagers stood outside the abandoned factory.
"I'll go. I'm not scared." Kassidy laughed.
"You're going to go in there and stay the night? It's supposed to be haunted." Graham said.
"Relax Humbert I got this." Kassidy said and rolled her eyes. "If I get scared I'll call the ghostbusters." She said and started climbing the fence.
"Well someone has to make sure Blondie doesn't get possessed." Kassidy turned her head and looked and rolled her eyes. She had met Will just that night, and wasn't fond of him. He never seemed to shut up. "No. No way. I'd rather get possessed than go in there with you Scarlet." Kassidy said as she hopped the fence. Will climbed over the fence and joined her on the other side.
"Looks like your stuck with me." He grinned.
"Yay.." Kassidy muttered.

Kassidy had lost Will somewhere in the dark factory and her phone was going dead so her flashlight was not working. Its not like she was scared, She just didn't want to end up walking into a huge spider web that..would scare her more than anything else. Something clanked down the hallway behind her her. She spun around.
"..hello?" She called. Her phone went completely dead and there was no light what so ever.
"Fuck.." She sighed. She turned and went to move on but there was another noise behind her. She spun around.
"Will! This isn't fucking funny!" She shouted. Nothing. She grumbled and turned back around and was grabbed suddenly.
"BOO!" Will shouted. Kassidy screamed bloody murder and dropped her phone. Will erupted in laughter.
"I don't know blondie that was pretty fucking funny." He laughed. Kassidy glared at him.
"You are such a jerk. Look! My phone is broken." She said picking it up. Will shined his flashlight on it.
"Yep. thats broken." He smiled.
"Dick.." She sighed and pushed him.
"Hands up! Nobody move!" a Police officer shouted.
Kassidy and Will both put their hands up. The officer walked over and got a better look at the two teens and sighed.
"Really Kassi?" He groaned.
"Hey Dad." Kassidy smirked. Will looked at Kassidy.
"Well, you just got a whole lot more interesting." He smirked.

Kassidy and Will sat in the back of her Dads police car.
"Awfully nice of him to not arrest us." Will smirked.
"Yeah we got lucky. He's arrested me before for less." Kassidy laughed. "I call it quality time."
Sean Cole got into his police car.
"This is who you hang out with? Really?" He asked. Kassidy pouted and leaned into Will snuggling into his chest.
"You don't like my boyfriend daddy?" She asked.
"Boyfriend?!" Sean demanded and looked at Will.
"Apparently so." Will shrugged.
"Oh don't act so shy Will." Kassidy winked at him.
Will grinned and leaned in and kissed her.
"Whos shy baby?" He asked. Kassidy pulled away and stared at him for a moment giving him a did you really just do that? Look before looking at her father's disgusted face. She smirked and pulled Will to her by the collar of his shirt and planted her lips on his.
"Really Kassidy?" Sean grumbled. Kassidy pulled away breathlessly.
"What was that Daddy?" She asked. Sean rolled his eyes and started the car.
"That was.." Will whispered.
"Not a one time thing." Kassidy smirked and dug into her pocket for a sharpie. She grabbed his arm and wrote her number on it and bit her lip winking at him.
"Call me?"
"Oh..you know I will." Will smirked. "But for now, you should probably wake up blondie."
Kassidy raised an eyebrow
"What?" She asked.
"Wake up. Come on Kassi wake up."

Kassidy opened her eyes slowly and Wills face came into view
"Will?" She slurred still half asleep.
"Yeah. Blondie it's me." Will smiled and turned back to Nick.
"Untie her and the money is yours." Will said.
"That's not how this works Scarlet. Hand over the money, and Richard will take the girl to the detective but you are not leaving."
"No. Let her go." Will said. "I want her out that door before I give you this."
Nick sighed and nodded at Richard.
"Why do you always make things difficult for me Scarlet?"
Kassidy was fully awake now and watched Richard walk over and wrestle the empty bag away from Will. Will sighed and gave her an apologetic look. He walked over and slipped something into her pocket.
"A parting gift." He said and kissed her on the forehead.
"Parting gift? Will.. what are yo-"
Nick laughed.
"OH you fucking moron." He said and threw the empty bag on the ground.
"Nick please. Let her go. She's got nothing to do with it." Will begged. 
"Let her go? Oh no. No way." Nick replied and nodded at Richard again. Richard opened a gas can and started splashing kerosene all over the place.
"Will!" Kassidy cried.
"Its going to be okay, love. I promise." Will smiled at her but she could tell he was scared.
"Tell her that all you want. You've played me for the last fucking time. Now you are going to watch her burn and to ensure that you don't walk out of here." Nick said and pulled a handgun out and shot Will in the leg.
"Will!" Kassidy screamed. As WIll howled in pain and collapsed holding his leg.
"Stop!" Kassidy cried. "Please!"
"Its too late for that." Nick said as he and Richard walked out of the room. Nick lit a match and tossed it in and fire started spreading around the room.

"I've got gunshots coming from inside I'm going in!" Rogers said.
"Wait for back up! Don't move!" Weaver shouted into the radio. Rogers growled.
"I have to get in there you don-" He stopped sniffing the air.
Smoke
"Get me Ambulance and fire NOW, theres a fire inside I'm going in now." Rogers shouted and kicked the back door to the building down running inside.
"Kass!" He yelled as he ran through the labyrinth of a building.

Kassidy shimmied out of her bonds finally and choked on the smoke as she crawled across the floor to Will.
"Will!" She cried.
"Kassi you have to go. Get out of here!" Will shouted. Kassidy shook her head.
"I won't leave you."
"GO!" Will shouted at her.
She shook her head again.
"NO!" She screamed back. "I'm not fucking leaving you!"
"You are so bloody stubborn now is not the fucking time!" Will hissed in pain
"Kassi!!" Rogers shouted as he broke the door down to the room.
"James?" Kassidy wheezed as more smoke filled her lungs. Rogers rushed over and wrapped his arms around a sobbing Kassidy
"Its okay love, I got you." He said.
"We have to help him hes been shot!" Kassidy choked out.
"Aye I can get you both." Rogers said. Will shook his head.
"You won't make it with both of us You need to get her and Go." Will said.
"No!" Kassidy argued. Will looked at Rogers with pleading eyes.
"Get her out of here." He choked. Rogers nodded. Kassidy shook her head and clung to Will.
"I wont leave him!" She cried.
"I'm sorry Kassi." Rogers said and pulled her off of Will.
"NO!" Kassidy screamed. "WILL!" She hung onto his hand. Will let go of her hand and Rogers put Kassidy over his shoulder.
"No!" Kassidy cried."What are you doing? You can't leave him he'll die! James! Please!" Kassidy begged as Rogers carried her out of the room. Kassidy Struggled trying to get back in the room. She didn't want Will to die alone but with all the smoke she inhaled she was losing energy, and air fast. She wheezed and gagged.
"p..Please.." She choked. She felt the cool air on her face as Rogers exited the building. She could see the flashing lights from the ambulance in the police cars, and the fire truck but she couldn't hear the sirens. Someone took her Off of Rogers shoulders and she was laid on a stretcher and she watched him talking to someone and pointing to building before blacking out.

  Rogers paced in the hospital room waiting for Kassidy to wake up. Weaver walked in and handed him a cup of coffee.
"How's it looking?" He asked.
"Nurse said she should wake up any time now. No permanent lung damage. She might need an inhaler for a couple weeks but that's it, she's also going to need to detox from whatever they were using to sedate her. So..I'm going to take a few days and make sure she's okay at home." Rogers said. Weaver nodded.
"Of course." He said. "Take whatever time you need.. I'll have to admit. Not many people ignore my orders, but in this case, I'm glad you did. I don't think this would have gone so well had you waited." Weaver sighed.
"Aye." Rogers agreed. "Hows Will?"
"He's got a long road to recovery ahead. He's awake, in quite a bit of pain but thankfully the bullet didn't do any major damage to his leg."
"How much jail time is he looking at for his involvement?" Rogers asked.
"I'm working on getting that written off, he did..after all help us."
"Aye. Thank you." Rogers smiled. "Kass will be happy to hear that."
"And you?" Weaver asked.
Rogers shook his head. "I know where I stand with Kassidy, and She knows where she stands with me. I'm not worried about Will coming in. He's her past."
"And you're her future?" Weaver smirked.
"Well, I'd like to think so." Rogers smiled.
Kassidy gasped startling them both She sat up and frantically tried to pull at the wires and IVS taped to her.
"Hey.. hey!" Rogers said and hurried to her side. "You're safe. You're okay." He reassured her and helped her lay back down.
"James?" She asked and grabbed onto his hand.
"Aye its me love." He smiled and ran his other hand through her hair.
"Where are we?" Kassidy rasped.
"Harborview Medical Center. Can you breathe okay?" Rogers asked. Kassidy nodded.
"It hurts a little." She said.
"It will, but you're okay now." Rogers smiled. Kassidy tried to sit up again.
"And stubborn as ever." Weaver chuckled. Rogers gently pushed her back down.
"Rest, love."
"Will.. is..he.." Kassidy started her eyes welled. Rogers shook his head.
"He's fine. He's down the hall." Rogers smiled. Kassidy sighed in relief and gripped Rogers hand.
"Don't leave me?" She asked.
"Of course I'm not leaving. Why don't you get some more rest? They're going to wake you for a breathing treatment in a few hours." Kassidy shook her head.
"No. I'm not tired." She said and gripped his hand tighter.
"Love I promise I am not going anywhere."
"Did.. you get them?" Kassidy asked.
"Who?" Rogers asked.
"The men...who did this?"
Weaver nodded. "They're booked and ready to be sent off to prison in the morning. Don't worry." He assured her. Kassidy settled down against her pillow. Rogers leaned in and kissed her on the top of the head.
"Rest darling." He said again.
"Okay." Kassidy said softly and closed her eyes but then opened them again.
"James?" She asked.
"Yes love?" Rogers asked.
"I love you." She said and brought her hand with his in it up to her pillow and snuggled into it. Rogers smiled and sat down in the chair next to her bed.
"I love you too Kassidy." He whispered as she drifted to sleep.
