"So, you're saying you woke up ahead of me...?" A slightly annoyed awoken Ako stared incredulously at Yurika's graceful smiling face.

"Yes, that is correct. That is why i handled all of the problems that was left. They depended on me, and i was able to lead them even more efficiently and smoothly, and the problems were quickly solved all thanks to me." Yurilka's grin became wider.

Ako wanted to tear it off. Well, partly because she couldn't do anything at the moment and she's now a step behind them. However, most of all - she's irritated as hell.

"Yurika," her claws appeared on her slender nails. "Do you want me to ruin you face?" She said with the most harmless grinning face she could muster.

Yurika deadpanned, "That face doesn't match your words at all."

Ako shrugged her shoulders and her face became lax, leaning her back to the bed's frame.

Our third princess woke up exactly after three days, means the start of internships. The class of 1A already departed to their designated companies for their internships - Yurika and Koharu should be in their companies now but the principal excused them for a few days.

That granted them some time to talk and catch up after being in a coma for a long while.

Yurika's taunting grin changed into a serious one; knowing that what issue may unfold to Ako may become an entirely different crisis altogether, and this issue is a big problem as it is.

"Ako-chan, we have a very serious problem. And we want you to listen calmly." Koharu started right away.

Ako tilted her head to the side, "What could be the problem to have you guys look so solemn?"

Ako already had an idea as to what they were going to say, the moment she woke up - she couldn't feel it in her veins anymore.

"Our connection to our world," she lowered her head. She couldn't bear looking at Ako right now given by how useless she is right now. "It's gone."

The moment she uttered the last sentence; she was ready to face Ako's wrath. However, a lot of things has changed. Ako merely let out a heavy sigh, patting Koharu's head with a soft smile on her face.

"Don't feel guilty, Koharu. We've done our best, although our connection is gone we can always find a way to reconnect, right?"

It wasp unexpected, yet it is completely welcome.

Their talk ended peacefully with Ako overwritting the plan with another plan that might be a little dangerous;  although no matter how risky it is, she's determined to go home and protect their kingdom alongside her friends.

And so, time came when Ako, Yurika and Koharu had to go to their internships.

Do you know where Ako had gone to?

Endeavor's agency.

Yurika is in Hawk's agency whilst Koharu went to Kiryu's. And so, the three princesses went on their separate ways, for the mean time.

Losing the connection to their world feels weird; Ako had thought so when she was feeling the tips of fingers, her sense of smell, and how the air in general felt to her. What's even more bizarre is that her ability felt like it was cut off in half, she didn't feel as powerful as before.

  'This is a serious problem...'

Not only that her telekinesis weakened, her psychometric ability is not working anymore - she couldn't even use it anymore. It's seriously bad.

Their stay here in this world is becoming critical the more they stayed here. Ako had reassured Koharu the last time, but she doesn't even know anymore if she'll be able to do something about their situation this time.

The portal machine was almost complete, however the biggest missing piece to that is their connection to the core.

Ako released a small blue electrifying sphere on her hand.

It's weak.

She hadn't realized that she was merely relying on her abilities the whole time and never actually get to improve her strength. Now that their powers are weakened, they needed a way to get stronger, stronger than they will ever be.

The blue electric sphere disappeared and a sigh escaped her lips.

  "Ako."

A voice cut through her complicated thoughts, turning her head to the source - there she saw Todoroki standing just five meters away from her.

The moment he heard of her decision to be placed under his father's agency and that she's finally awake - he bolted away from his father and went straight to searching for her.

It felt so unreal to see her alive, so see her mesmerizing cyan eyes stare back at him in a curved smile.

"Todoroki-kun..." She muttered before a lopsided smile melted on her face, "When did you start calling me by my name again?" She giggled.

Her voice brought relief and desperation to him, he promised himself to respect her boundaries; however, after a long time of being deprived of her presence, her lovely smile, her honey voice, his desire that he tried so hard to resist had ran wild and there, his rationality snapped.

Two strong arms pulled her to a hard, firm chest; her body encased in his protective arms, while his chin rested on the top of her head.

She stiffened.

Her small stature almost barely visible by his large ones.

Ako's cheeks flared in red when she felt Todoroki inhaled a deep breath on her head before sliding down to the crook of her neck; slowly exhaling to her ears while softly muttering, "I, missed you, so much."

The sudden gestures from a guy made Ako freeze. It brought her shivers all over, never used to a guy being this close, this intimate to her; having been respected and treated like a princess that she is her whole life she obviously hasn't experienced anything relating to intimacy with the opposite gender.

"W-Wha—" she stuttered before getting cut off by Todoroki.

"Don't ever do that again," he softly whispered, sounding so desperate and vulnerable that Ako had to stop and listen.

His hug became tighter, as if scared of losing her again.

"I can't stand watching you sleep lifelessly for so long, it scared me to death. It worried me to death. Don't ever leave me alone, you're not allowed to."

Where has Ako's bravery gone off to?
She suddenly couldn't utter a single word to him now that he's actually showing a vulnerable side of him.

Her hold on his clothes tightened, before looking up to his gray and blue heterochromatic eyes; her voice got stuck as she saw the most beautiful image of him right before her eyes.

His two-toned hair softly framed the side of his cheekbones that was brushed by a hint of pink, little strands of his hair getting in the way of his eyes - his eyes that is hooded by the long lashes, soflty fluttering close.

His eyes particularly made her feel a lot of different things - she couldn't fathom what's happening between those.

What's with those looks?

When did he even start having these kind eyes for her?

Why does he look so in love and desperate for her?

Snapping to her senses, she turned and pulled away from Todoroki - afraid that he might catch a glimpse of her beet red face.

"Y-You're uttering such nonsense! Nothing's going to happen to me, desu wa!" She turned around in a hurry, tucking the stray of hair on her face.

Missing the look of hurt from Todoroki's face before it slowly reverted back to his normal expression.

"....I see."

Although reluctant to look at him again, Ako glanced at him - the soft blush still visible on both side of her cheeks.

"Nevermind that, desu wa! I came here for the internships. Guide me to the office." She started walking without waiting for him whilst Todoroki was still in a dazed by Ako's blushing face.

She was actually blushing..

Does that mean he have a chance?

"What are you doing, desu no? Hurry up!" He snapped out of it and just decided to think about it later after their work.
