AUTHOR'S NOTE: Today we have Siiri Kivelä (a name I'll never know how to pronounce) with Darius Laporte (ooh... sounds french :D). I hope he is as exotic as his name!

1. Who are you?

My name is Darius Laporte, although I just found out that's not really my last name. And I've been given a new identity too. I'm 23 years old and there's nothing too special about me. I'm on the short side. Only 5'6". Dark brown hair, brown eyes. Sometimes some stubble when I'm too lazy to shave. That's really all there is to say about me.

2. What's the title of your story and what kind of story is it?

It's called Redemption and it's a novel of about 60,000 words in length. A sci-fi/fantasy, I think.

3. Are you in love? If so, with who?

Wynter. I love her more than I thought I could ever love another person. I thought I loved my best friend, in a platonic way of course, but it's totally different with Wynter. I'd try to describe it, but it'll just sound too sappy.

4. Do you have any talents?

Eh. I'm an Anitreh. Or was? I don't know. Basically, it means I have a special ability. Mine happens to be ice. So I can make things colder, form ice, that sort of stuff. There's a few other things that go along with that, like telekinesis and a weak form of telepathy with my fylgja, which I guess you could say is my animal companion.

5. Who is the closest to you?

Viceroy. She's my fylgja. If you don't have a fylgja, it's hard to understand why I'm so close to a snow leopard, but that's the way it works. As for humans, it'd have to be either Wynter, my girlfriend, or Niki, my best friend. I think we're close on different levels, but Niki's known me since forever and we'd do anything for each other.

6. Describe your perfect moment.

It'd be just being able to hang out with my friends. Me and Viceroy and Niki and Wynter. And Ian too, but he's dead. Still, just having the freedom to hang out with my friends and do something relatively normal. I miss having that.

7. What animal do you most relate to and why?

Snow leopard. I guess I feel obligated to say that with my fylgja being a snow leopard and all. Snow leopards are solitary and so am I for the most part. So there's that.

8. Who is your creator/author? Do you like them and why/why not?

Siiri Kivelä, who goes by the name DrunkOkapi around these parts. I guess I'm kinda indifferent towards them. They created me, so that's cool, but then, it's always me getting the worst of everything. Oh, whose best friend is going to die? Darius. Who's going to be manipulated into turning against their pseudofamily? Darius. Who's going to realize how badly he screwed up and wants to die? Darius.

9. How would you describe your creator/author and why?

Weird. Seriously weird. That person comes up with the strangest ideas. Fortunately, they get dismissed easily enough, but some of those things. Weird.

10. Favorite color(s):

Not orange? I like blue, I guess.

11. Favorite Song or Genre:

Um, I listen to a little bit of everything. Would it make me a nerd to say I like classical? So maybe let's just say I like rock.

12. Speaking of Genres, what type is your story?

It's a sort of sci-fi and fantasy, although it doesn't really fit well into either category, but it's close enough, right?

13. What do you like doing in your free time?

Sleeping, playing video games, Wynter. Not that I have free time these days.

14. What's your favorite time of day and why?

Night. Because I hate being up early in the morning and I'm still feeling grumpy in the afternoon.

15. How do you feel about makeup?

I don't really see the point in it. Growing up, no one ever wore it and I guess the whole idea seems dumb to me. Wynter uses it, but I don't know why. She looks great without it, but I don't know. If she likes it, she likes it.

16. What's a memorable moment in your life?

There's a lot to choose from, but a lot are bad. So I'll go with a good one. It was just before I turned thirteen and I met Viceroy. She was so tiny and I could pick her up easily. I had to go to Nepal to find her and then go into the mountains. There's this... bond that forms between a person and their fylgja, which is how I could find her. I just followed that and all of a sudden, this little snow leopard kitten comes barreling down the mountain and jumps into my arms. That was one of the best things that ever happened to me.

17. Describe yourself in one word.

Alive.

18. What's your goal in life?

I've got to stop the senator. It's the only thing I can do to even try to make up for the mess I've caused. After that, well, I'll probably be dead.

19. If you could tell your creator one thing, what would it be?

Pick on someone else. Not Wynter and not Niki though. Someone like Ruslan that I don't like.

20. If you read halfway through your story and could end it your way, how would YOU do it?

Honestly, I think it ends just about as well as it could, considering what the alternatives are. Actually, I'd stop Niki's brother from screwing us over, and that way, maybe things could end better for Niki. And I'd end it so I could stay in contact with Wynter. Or maybe Niki and I should have gone to Honduras like we originally planned.

I like the name Wynter with a Y. It makes it more....fantastical :D I like the fantasy vibe you have going on. And I'd love to know how to pronounce fylgja. With me though, it'd probably sound more like Filogipja or something of that nature. Haha :)
