Meanwhile...

Two large males are currently looking at some of the dumbest shit you can think of on a computer. The first has brown hair, rectangular glasses, a light blue, collared shirt with black stripes, black pants, grey shoes, and pale skin. The other has brown hair wearing a blue T-shirt promoting an anime, a pair of sunglasses on his head, a belt, black jeans, and black shoes.

Male 1: "(laughing) Ah god no! What the hell is that?!"

Male 2: "(disappointed) Okay.."

The results only get dumber and dumber.

Male 2: "(disappointed) Bryant, where the hell do you find this shit?"

Bryant: "(laughing) Don't blame me Mitchell! Blame Jacob and Spencer!"

Mitchell: "Whatever you say."

They both awkwardly stare at each other.

Mitchell: "... Okay."

They hear a strange knock at the door.

Bryant: "Do you want to get that or...?"

Mitchell: "We'll both get that."

They head to the door to find that there are those strange soldiers standing outside, twice as many as the others.

Bryant: "Wait, what the hell?"

Mitchell reaches for the doorknob.

Mitchell: "Could be worse?"

The door opens, only to find two women standing by.

However...Woman 1: "So you must be the new Catalyst..."

Bryant's eyes turn dark as the women look at him.

Woman 2: "And that's one of the first eight."

Mitchell awkwardly stares back his brother.

Mitchell: "(awkwardly) What da-"

A blood red light creates strange tattoos all over Bryant's body.

Bryant: "Don't worry, I've got this!"

The women pull out their strange pistols.

Women: "We anticipated this of you, Bryant Cooper, along with the other seven."

Bryant jump towards the window as a tattoo glows, allowing him to slip through like a ghost.

Bryant: "Feel the wrath of my gamer skills."

Bryant's right hand turns into the paw of a wolf.

Meanwhile...

Linus and Raikiri are casually watching cars pass them by, clearly bored.

Raikiri: "(bored) How haven't we found anyone who has an Engager? I'm bored out of my mind!"

Linus: "Like I also said, we must be in an alternate dimension or something."

Meanwhile...

Damiax is leaning against the side of a house.

Damiax: "I should be nearly there. Our innate connection should bring me right to Bryant."

He continues walking.

Meanwhile...

Linus starts to walk down the street.

Linus: "I can't think of another reason as to why-"

They can see plasma bullets fly into the sky like fireworks.

Raikiri: "H-Holy shit!"

Linus rushes towards the source of the bullets, only to bump into Damiax as he makes his first turn.

Linus: "Hey! Are you heading over there too?"

Damiax halts.

Damiax: "Who are you?"

Raikiri: "Just a couple of-"

Damiax looks at the Engager and Raikiri.

Damiax: "-Creations like me."

Linus: "What?"

They both continue to rush only to see Bryant getting bombarded with attacks and Mitchell hiding behind a bush.

Raikiri: "What's going on?!"

Damiax recognizes Bryant.

Damiax: "If I was drawn here to save my Catalyst then..."

Damiax looks back at Linus after noticing Mitchell.

Damiax: "Can you fight?"

Linus looks at his deck.

Linus: "I could summon Raikiri, but uh..."

Damiax grabs Linus's shoulder.

Damiax: "Listen to me, my name is Damiax and I know what I'm doing. Whatever it is you're worried about isn't as important as saving your lives."

Damiax is clearly serious.

Raikiri: "You heard him. If he really has any idea what he's doing, then I'd listen."

Linus looks down at his Engager.

Linus: "(deep breath) I'm on it."

Linus tosses Raikiri into the air as he draws four cards from his deck.

Damiax: "Then let's save some lives!"

Damiax rushes towards the fight with the tail of a snake as Raikiri slides into place, creating a swarm of binary that exits the Engager.

Meanwhile...

Bryant is getting his ass handed to him.

Woman 1: "We always knew you were the weakest of the originals."

Bryant's skin becomes as durable as steel.

Bryant: "(breathing heavily) Yeah, we kind of confirmed that not that long ago."

The bullets only bounce off for a bit before one pierces his skin and forces his body back to normal.

Bryant: "(in pain) Damn that stings!"

Bryant cover the wound with his hand.

Mitchell: "(awkwardly) Were totally fucked."

Women: "Give up Bryant Cooper and we'll only leave your brother with a couple busted kneecaps."

Mitchell: "Hey, that doesn't sound very-"

Both of Mitchell's kneecaps are shot out.

???: "That's enough."

Two soldiers get skewered through the backs of their skulls by Damiax's tail, leaving Bryant with fear.

Bryant: "(in pain) What the hell are you doing here?"

Damiax: "I'm no here with them Bryant..."

The body is tossed aside.

Damiax: "... I'm here with you."

Women: "The Metama hunter is going with you?"

The soldiers take aim at Damiax.

Women: "Oh well."

???: "I play the Set Card, Star Claw!"

A couple of soldiers are vaporized in a fiery plasma from a claw strike from a now 20ft tall Raikiri.

Woman 2: "Then there's his Creation."

Linus is seen drawing another card not to far away.

Raikiri: "Are we late for the party?"

Damiax helps Bryant to his feet.

Bryant: "(in pain) Naw, I'd say you're right on time."

The enemy fires at Raikiri.

Linus: "Hold on! I activate the Boost Cards Strength and Vitality!"

A red and green aura gives Raikiri strength and restores wounds.

Woman 1: "Looks like that boy gives this dragon power."

A shot gets Linus in the shoulder.

Raikiri: "Linus!"

Linus draws another card as Bryant and Damiax begin ripping the guts of their enemies out with coyote claws.

Mitchell: "(in pain. dumbfounded) Why and how is Linus Sakaki here?!"

Bryant: "(breathing heavily) Same reason why I'm kicking ass Mitchell."

Raikiri: "Finally someone knows who we are!"

Some soldiers take aim at the clearly defenseless Linus.

Woman 1: "Beat that Creation senseless."

Rapid fire shots at Linus are mostly blocked by Raikiri, but a few get Linus in the gut.

Linus: "(in pain) Thanks partner."

Raikiri: "(in pain) Don't mention it."

One of their detectors is beginning to beep.

Mitchell: "(in head) They all can't last forever!"

The women look at the helpless Mitchell.

Woman 1: "Succumb to your rage and let your Catalyst nature manifest!"

Damiax saves Bryant from a sneak attack.

Damiax: "Are they actually trying to get him to awaken?!"

Bryant: "What good will having a Mitchell to fight do for them?!"

Raikiri is struggling to continue resisting the attacks.

Raikiri: "(struggling) I could use a little help!"

Bryant and Damiax are beginning to struggle.

Bryant: "(struggling) We would if we could!"

Damiax: "(struggling) He needs to awaken now!"

Linus sets a card in his Engager.

Linus: "I'll set and activate the Guard Card Perfect Guard!"

All shots bounce back and deal with the remaining soldiers, but both Linus and Raikiri took heavy damage.

Woman 1: "The clock is ticking..."

Woman 2: "... and our patience runs thin."

Mitchel pulls himself out of the shadows as the detector goes on the verge of combustion.

Mitchell: "(in pain) I'll do something!"

The detector explodes as a voice echoes in Mitchell's mind.

Voice: "That something is called fighting if I'm not mistaken."

Mitchell: "What's that voice?"

Women: "(smirking) It's here."

Voice: "All you need to do is get on your feet and they won't know what hit them."

The detector explodes.

Raikiri: "(in pain) What's he doing?"

Voice: "Thy will unshackled..."

A platinum light covers Mitchell's left forearm and the two pull out two Gamma Collars each while Linus and Raikiri begin to heal within a platinum aura.

Damiax: "You act as though you didn't pull out your trump cards at the wrong time."

Damiax and Bryant use newfound bat wings to scoop up the collars and toss them into the nearby road and smashing them to pieces.

Women: "N-No!"

Voice: "Thy desire unchanged..."

Mitchell gets back on his feet as the holes in his knees heal.

Mitchell: "What are you-"

Something snaps in Mitchell's mind.

Mitchell/ Voice: "The time is nigh for your desires to become the new reality of this world..."

More platinum light forms in Mitchell's other hand just before he tosses it into the air.

Mitchell/ Voice: "Now awaken..."

The lights slide perfectly together, revealing that it's a platinum Engager with a Character Slate called, Haidrea, Kaiju of the Forgotten Future.

Mitchell/ Voice: "... Haidrea!"

Binary code begins to exit the Engager and take shape.

Linus: "(awkwardly) How did he just pull out an Engager from thin air?"

Bryant: "Trust me, I'll explain everything."

Their enemies look at the two in horror as a blood red aura surrounds Bryant and Damiax.

Woman 2: "(horrified) W-We're going to die!"

The top card in Mitchell's deck glows platinum as he makes a face that seems to reference an anime character as a 20ft, platinum, reptilian beast with a massive tail, dinosaur like figure, and having an entire arm and leg, plus several parts of it's tail, face, and stomach replaced with cybernetic technology.

Mitchell: "(confidently) Yeah!"

Linus's deck does the same.

Woman 1: "(horrified) They're going to use Synergy Attacks..."

Bryant and Damiax take to the skies as they develop the wolf claws and serpent tails.

Damiax: "No one deserves to suffer anymore."

Damiax sheds a single tear.

Damiax: "I learned that the hard way."

They both draw their cards with the platinum aura, with them both drawing the Character Card, Tempest Lightning.

Haidrea: "Shall we end this?"

Bryant and Damiax stab the first woman with their tails as the aura glows bright and they soar into the sky.

Bryant/ Damiax:  "Synergy Attack..."

Mitchell: "Set your card! We'll kill her in a single strike!"

They both set their cards down as the others slash and scratch the woman rapidly.

Bryant/ Damiax: "... Chimeric Chaos!"

They rip their tails out and slug her back down into the pavement, creating a small crater.

Woman 2: "(horrified) U-Uh oh..."

Mitchell/ Linus: "Synergy Attack..."

They activate Tempest Lightning, striking her with two gargantuan lightning bolts.

Raikiri/ Haidrea: "... Cataclysmic Lightning!"

A final super bolt strikes her, turning her and the asphalt around her into dust.

Mitchell: "(confidently) Now that's the tasty shit."

The others return to normal as Raikiri and Haidrea fade away and Mitchell falls onto his knee.

Linus: "What did we just...?"

Bryant: "(rubbing neck) I'm going to feel that in the morning."

Damiax: "Well, we'd better get everyone here someplace safe. I need to tell you something."

Bryant goes inside and exits with four of the buttons.

Bryant: "Take one and we'll be at my hideout."

Haidrea: "You possess a hideout?"

Damiax: "He made it about a year ago with a bunch of other Catalysts and Creations like s."

Bryant and Damiax are taken away.

Linus: "So uh... will we get an explanation after this?"

Mitchell: "I hope so. I'm just as confused as you."

They both follow suit...
