A couple weeks later...

The girl with the wolf is defending against more soldiers as the surrounding city is under attack.

Girl: "(struggling) I could use a little help here James!"

A male in a black coat held together with three, dark purple, belt buckles, long black hair dyed dark purple at the tips that's covering his left eye, black pants, heavy duty, black boots, and a strange device strapped around his waist is busy typing away on a terminal identical to the one Camarus used.

James: "(struggling) I'm getting us help Jamie!"

Jamie barely avoids some nasty shots as her wolf retreats to the gateway.

James: "Jamie, I need to stay here to keep our foothold for as long as possible!"

The gateway opens up.

Jamie: "Where the hell does that thing go?!"

James: "Listen, you and Rocky need to head through and find Jacob."

Jamie: "That guy you told Jared, Jaclyn, and I about?"

The enemy is about to push through.

James: "I can't waste more time! You'll know him when you see him!"

Rocky leaps through.

Jamie: "(sighing) Of course."

Jamie leaps into the gateway as the enemy breaks through the defenses and the gate closes.

James: "(deep breath) Bring it on!"

James summons a wireframe scythe.

Meanwhile...

The male with the glove is now wearing a black set of engineer gear with an obsidian wrench while the girl looks like a mathematician with a black pair of glasses are fending off against more soldiers as a male with black hair and green wizard robes and a girl wearing similar clothing activates another gateway.

Girl: "William?! Emily!"

William: "Your transportation is ready to go Ulrich, Mira."

Ulrich: "Where are you sending us?"

Emily: "Hopefully, someplace safer."

Mira: "Where?!"

William: "Look, you'll find a person named Denton who's got an ID Glove and ID Card."

Emily: "He's our one chance!"

The enemy breaks through as the two fighters return to their original attire.

Ulrich: "I'm just going to trust you!"

The two leap through the gate just before it closes.

Emily: "(deep breath) We're ready for you!"

Meanwhile...

The male with black and red hair with the ghost is barely holding a door closed as a woman with black hair and a male ghost booting up another gate.

Male: "(struggling) Hurry up mom! I can't do this forever!"

Mom: "Almost there Ace!"

Female Ghost: "You'd better be!"

The gate activates.

Male Ghost: "Ace, Rei, you two need to go find someone named Max."

Ace: "(struggling) Talk about generic first name."

Male Ghost: "He'll probably be dealing with these guys too, so you should spot him real quickly."

Ace books it to the gateway.

Rei: "We'll try!"

Ace jumps through the gateway as it closes and the enemy takes aim at his mom.

Mom: "(deep breath) Zero Fiction."

His mom fades away...

Meanwhile...

The boy in the light blue shirt is beating the shit out of any soldier coming his way with a strange glow around him as a girl in a pink, lightweight piece of combat gear while she types away on yet another gateway.

Male: "Any luck Diane?"

The gateway activates as the male sends two soldiers into the earth.

Diane: "You're good to go Isaiah!"

Isaiah rushes up to just in front of the gateway.

Isaiah: "So I just need to find CJ and get back here ASAP?"

Diane: "You'll probably need to lend him a hand before that though."

Diane's hand turns black as she stands in front of Isaiah.

Diane: "Go!"

Isaiah: "O-Okay!"

Isaiah steps through just before the gateway deactivates.

Diane: "Let's go!"

Meanwhile...

The winged girl steps into a room with a girl with fox ears, tail, and a denim jumpsuit with another gateway.

Winged Girl: "So this is what is in that room you said I couldn't go in."

The fox girl types away.

Fox Girl: "Alright Ariyae, you need to head over to another dimension, but..."

The door is beginning to break.

Ariyae: "But?"

Fox Girl: "Phillip should be dead."

The gateway opens up.

Ariyae: "Who's Phillip, Rox?"

Ariyae walks up to the gateway.

Rox: "An... old friend."

Ariyae: "Well, I'll see what I find!"

Ariyae flies through as Rox assumes a combat stance.

Rox: "(deep breath) Here we go."

Meanwhile...

The nerd and a man with an apron and a scar step into the basement of a cafe with explosions occurring above.

Nerd: "(in awe) What's that?"

They arrive at another gateway.

Man: "Jeremy gave me the rundown about what this thing does."

The man types away on it.

Nerd: "What does it do?"

Man: "Well Matthew, it seems to be a dimensional portal and that dimension it's connected to is where these guys have come from."

The gateway lights up.

Man: "I'll stay and act as support, you go through and find out anything you can."

Matthew steps up to the gateway.

Matthew: "O-Okay..."

Matthew takes a leap of faith before it closes.

Man: "Good luck Spencer..."

Meanwhile...

The boy in the light blue tunic is typing away on a seventh gateway inside of a ruined house as gunshots echo outside.

Damiax: "(deep breath) Alright Damiax, you've got to find Bryant and figure out how to get the others."

The gateway activates and he hurries up to it.

Damiax: "I just hope they can forgive me."

Damiax jumps through just before it closes.

Meanwhile...

A woman with light brown hair in a bun, white coat with several patches on it is activating the eighth and final gateway for a large, bulky robot with a screen for a head and a gun plugged into it's back to avoid the soldiers patrolling the area outside.

Woman: "BroBot, you know where you're going."

BroBot: "(nods)"

The gateway opens.

Woman: "Now go find Isaac!"

BroBot marches up to the gateway.

BroBot: "(nods)"

He steps through before it closes.

Now...

Jamie and Rocky arrive in the middle of a barren desert.

Jamie: "So this supposed god lives in a desert..."

Rocky nudges Jamie's leg before she kneels down to give him a nice pat on the head.

Jamie: "... then let's start looking."

They head towards the nearest civilization.

Meanwhile...

Ulrich and Mira arrive in the middle of a park in the beating sun.

Ulrich: "Huh... not terrible."

Mira: "They said to look for Denton."

They take a glance at their surroundings and people in the area.

Ulrich: "Well uh... let's start looking."

They stroll through the area.

Meanwhile...

Ace arrives in the middle of a small plaza.

Rei: "Glad to not be hearing gunshots for once."

A katana giving of electricity forms in Ace's hand.

Ace: "Now we can actually fight too!"

The katana fades away.

Rei: "Let's go try to find Max."

Ace casually walks towards the roads.

Isaiah arrives next to a freeway in the beating sun.

Isaiah: "CJ is nearby..."

Isaiah looks towards a nearby town.

Isaiah: "... I can feel it."

He walks towards the town.

Ariyae is soaring above the scorching town below.

Ariyae: "This place looks too cool from up here!"

She scans the area.

Ariyae: "Now where am I going to find some help?"

She glides across the sky.

Matthew stands in front of several shops that sell a variety of items.

Matthew: "What kind of place is this?"

Matthew cautiously walks past the stores.

Matthew: "It's not much different from back home."

Matthew arrives at the road.

Damiax arrives at the top of a small bridge overlooking a park.

Damiax: "Where are you Bryant?"

Damiax looks towards the sky.

Damiax: "We need you more than ever."

Damiax heads east.

BroBot arrives in the middle of a junk heap in broad daylight.

BroBot: "..."

BroBot gets on his feet.

BroBot: "^_^ !"

BroBot marches forward.

However...

The male with metallic hair and limbs is wandering throughout the streets, gaining stares from everyone around.

Chase: "Alright Chase, you were cleaning up the remains of MONO when you were suddenly sent to this place..."

Chase is at a stalemate.

Chase: "... so why am I here?"

Meanwhile...

Linus is sitting on a park bench while looking down at his partner.

Dragon: "So now do you have any idea where we are?"

Linus: "No Raikiri."

Linus looks down at his device.

Linus: "All I know is that Limiter doesn't exist here."

Raikiri: "That's the weird part."

Marcus is leaning against a convenience store wall in the shadows.

Marcus: "I still have no idea what this place is. Prisms are useless and this is unheard of technology."

Marcus looks towards the sky while clenching his chain in his hand.

Marcus: "Just what happened to me?"

Voice 1: "This place doesn't run Prisms as currency."

Voice 2: "You're attire is outdated compared to them, and you're lost."

Voice 3: "This is a nightmare worse than being stuck with you three."

Marcus: "Do you think I wanted this Vulpecula? Also Orion, I didn't have any Prisms in the first place."

Voice 2: "You're clothes still make you stand out.

Marcus: "(awkwardly) Yeah Pyxis, please don't rub it in."

The blind male with blue skin sits atop a tall tree.

Blind Male: "These are humans, I'm sure of it."

He holds his stick up to his face.

Rez: "Now Rez, how did you get here?"

Dragon: "Any ideas Leo?"

Leo: "I mean... I've got nothing Pyronicious. This is uncharted territory for us."

Leo: "I just hope the others are okay..."
