Backstory: As a child, Lailah's home was ravaged by Shinra to harvest more of the Planet's Lifestream. Her people tried to stop them, but they were slaughtered in the process. Being the last remaining Child of Gaia, the injured Lailah fled and soon found another place to call home, Nibelheim. It was here she met Cloud and Tifa. Although she has been unable to speak due to her injuries, it didn't stop her from finding happiness once again.
