After class was over, they head to the cafeteria to have lunch. Adrien was really hungry since he didn't eat much this morning. It's never happened to him like that but this was different than eating little when he was a model.

"Sheesh, dude. Did you skip breakfast?" Nino asked him.

Hearing his best friend's stomach growl so loud, "No. I just had an apple. I just was not in the mood to eat with my father"

"Oh, I see" Nino understood.

"Ugh! And I believe I'm hungry" Adrien clutched his stomach.

"Dude, you gotta eat something!" Nino said.

"I will" Adrien goes to grab some food.

"Aren't you worried that your dad might lock you up again? On and off?" Nino asked, grabbing a tray to pick out food.

"Yes, but I won't let him keep me forever. He has done more than enough keeping me as a puppet" Adrien said.

"Adults are too strong against minors. Remember what happened last time?" Nino grabbed a seat with him.

"Yeah, it ends in disasters" Adrien replied.

"Dude, you feeling okay? You never starved like this" Nino can hear his best pal's stomach.

"I'm fine," Adrien said and ate his food.

"Okay" Nino proceeds to have his own food.

"What happened, Adrien? Did you skip breakfast?" Marinette sits next to him.

"Yeah to escape my cruel father. He still disapproves of us as a couple" Adrien replied.

"Why is he so stubborn? It's like he's never left the house to see what teenage life is all about" Marinette said, eating her food.

"Apparently. He's barely a father at all" Adrien said.

"Dude, why can't you tell him that you're growing up?" Nino asked.

"That's what I'm doing but he never listens. It would take one miracle to free myself from him" Adrien said.

"Just one miracle" Marinette replied.

"One of these days you are gonna tell him that you have a life outside the mansion," Alya said.

"Yeah. You my friends are my real family" Adrien said and held Marinette's hand, proving to them that they are in love.

They all couldn't help but smile at they are officially together. They were still Romeo and Juliet couple but eventually, they will find a way to stay in love permanently. Suddenly, they hear an explosion outside the school and they assume it was another akumatized victim again.

"Everyone out!" They were announced to evacuate the school.

"Alya, get Marinette to safety! I'll get everyone out!" Adrien said.

"Okay! Come Marinette!" Alya ran with her.

Adrien ran downstairs to find a place to transform, "Plagg! Claws out!" He transformed into Cat Noir once he found a hiding place.

He ran outside to see who it is this time but he groaned in annoyance that it was Mr. Pigeon again.

"Really? Him again?" He said in an annoyed tone.

"Here I come kitty cat!" Ladybug jumps in.

"Do I still have to eat the birds again?" Cat Noir asked sarcastically.

"This is getting old. Can't Monarch face it that Mr. Pigeon is so weak?" Ladybug agreed.

"It's the 76th time," Cat Noir said.

"Time for you to hunt birds while I observe," Ladybug said.

"Alright Bugaboo" Cat Noir ran to engage Mr. Pigeon.

The birds swarm in close to him and he expected to sneeze but it never came, "Huh? Strange" Cat Noir was baffled.

"Shoo! Get out of here! Out of my way!" Cat Noir clawing the pigeons out of the way.

"Roo! Roo! Be a nice kitty and give me your miraculous or my pigeons will peck you!" Mr. Pigeon cackled.

"I don't think so!" Cat Noir then threw a punch at him.

"Be nice to my cat, bird brain!" Ladybug threw her lucky charm which is a bag of popcorn at Mr. Pigeon.

"Popcorn! No!" Mr. Pigeon covered himself from the pigeons swarming all over him.

Once they are distracted, Ladybug grabbed the bird caller and tossed it to Cat Noir.

"CATACLYSM!!" He broke it to release the akuma.

Ladybug caught it with her yo-yo to purify and then tossed her lucky charm to repair the damage caused by Mr. Pigeon.

"Pound it!" They both said.

"I gotta go! There's something I gotta do!" Cat Noir said since he's very desperate to make sure his princess is okay.

"Got it!" Ladybug went somewhere else to detransform.

Alya saw her and took her to a private area for her best friend to detransform, "Tikki spots off!" Ladybug detransformed.

"Man, this guy gets akumatized too often" Alya complained.

"Monarch is so obsessed. He's going crazy with destroying everyone's hopes and dreams." Marinette said.

"Marinette?! Marinette?!" Adrien called out to her.

"Adrien!" Marinette ran out and hugged him.

"I'm so happy you're okay" Adrien hugged her back.

"I'm glad you're safe too" Marinette nuzzled his chest.

"My princess" Adrien nuzzled his head in her hair.

"Heh, it seems I got the same nickname from Cat Noir" Marinette chuckled.

"Perhaps because you're like a princess to him too," Adrien said.

After school was over, Adrien came home but was still not in the mood to see his father. What his father said was just beyond rude. The bite marks on his neck have healed. It was strange that it looks like it's been healed a week but it was only a day.

"That's really odd" Adrien checks the mirror.

"It's just a bite. What are you so paranoid about?" Plagg swallowed his cheese.

"It's almost as if there's a vampire around," Adrien said.

"My previous holder once faced a vampire but that was just one time," Plagg said.

"Okay. So vampires exist. So far I still have a reflection but as Cat Noir, my allergy didn't set off" Adrien said.

"Maybe It's your body changing. You need to simmer down. You're probably stressed out from your father pulling your whiskers" Plagg said.

"Maybe you're right" Adrien laid back ok the bed, thinking of his and Marinette's future.

"Aren't you gonna visit her? You always visit her after you come home from school" Plagg said.

"Ah, yes. Time to go" Adrien said and got up, "Plagg, claws out" He transformed in a green flash and jumps out the window.

He ran over to the apartments to get to his princess house. He was starting to feel a bit strange from the bite marks on his neck but he decided not to worry about it. He landed on the balcony roof and taps the trapdoor.

"Hi, Princess" Cat Noir greeted once she opened the trapdoor.

"Hey, kitty. Did you get the chance to eat pigeons again?" Marinette teased him.

"Yup, they were delicious" Cat Noir grinned.

"Are you being a good kitty tonight?" Marinette scratched his chin.

"Yeaaaah. Just wanted to check on you" Cat Noir got inside.

"A knight in leather armor always checking on his princess? How sweet of you" Marinette said.

"It's my job, my princess. And you do know I love seeing you happy with your prince. I love you and he loves you so much" Cat Noir licked her cheek.

"Good kitty" Marinette pets his hair.

"Puuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrr" He purred loudly and lies down on her lap.

"My own sweet kitty" Marinette pets him some more.

"Meow. I hear that your parents and your friends support Adrienette" Cat Nour teased.

"Uh yeah. They did a comic about a potential future once" Marinette blushed.

"Sounds embarrassing. But you do love your prince? Right?" Cat Noir asked.

"With all my heart," Marinette said.

"Someday you two will become king and queen," Cat Noir said.

"Maybe so, Kitty," Marinette said and petted his ears.

He felt a little lust coming within but he held it back. It was like he can hear a heartbeat, "Well, I hope for once you two don't get interrupted again" He changed the subject.

"The moment will come, kitty" Marinette yawned and lies down.

"Meow. My princess needs her beauty sleep. I must go now. I'm very nocturnal tonight to hunt prey" Cat Noir kissed her forehead.

"Good luck Kitty," Marinette said before he left.

After coming back to his bedroom, he detransformed but also collapsed from feeling something in his body. He shivered like his body temperature dropped down but no fever.

"Kid, you okay?" Plagg gasped.

"I'm fine" Adrien felt hungry and decided to go downstairs to eat.

He walked to the kitchen and opened the fridge. He grabbed an apple and a sports drink and went back upstairs.

Munching on an apple but then he heard heart beating again, "Huh?" He heard it came from Plagg.

"What?" Plagg asked.

"Nothing. I'm probably just exhausted" Adrien said.
