Adrien was in the kitchen eating steak but never said a word to his father for 30 minutes. Gabriel thinks that his son is going through a lot and thought that perhaps it's time to force him to bond with Kagami.

"So Adrien, still going with Miss Dupain-Cheng?" He asked.

Adrien glared at his father, refusing to answer while eating, "He's getting on my nerves" Adrien thought.

"Answer me, Adrien" Gabriel demanded him.

"I'm answering you, father" Adrien growled a little, "And the answer is I'm sticking with Marinette!" He looks up at him.

Then for some reason, Gabriel stood still as if he was in a trance after looking his son in the eyes.

"Father?" Adrien snaps his fingers.

He took a second to think until he realized he probably hypnotized his father. Then he smirked that he could use it to his advantage.

It would be wrong but the only way to be free from strictness, "Listen closely, father. You will let me be free"

"I will let you be free" Gabriel repeated after his son.

"And you will be nice to Marinette Dupain Cheng. She's my girlfriend" Adrien said with a little hypnotic voice.

"I will be nice to your girlfriend Marinette Dupain-Cheng" Gabriel again repeated.

"Excellent" Adrien then snaps his finger to wake his father up.

Adrien leaves the kitchen to head upstairs to his room, wondering what kind of powers he can do, "Hmm, let's see if I can shapeshift" He wondered.

"Kid, are you in your right mind? What did you just do?!" Plagg asked.

"I hypnotized my father and now I wanna see what else I can do," Adrien said.

"You better not lose your mind." Plagg was a bit worried.

"I'm not but I do love this freedom," Adrien said.

"Okay good" Plagg replied.

"I always wanted to know what it's like to fly as a bat," Adrien said, trying to concentrate on how.

"Don't get too batty" Plagg joked.

"I'm still the charming kitty cat" Adrien smirked.

"Oh yeah," Plagg sat and watched.

Adrien took a deep breath, spreading his arms out to try and turn into a bat. And in a green flash he turned into a vampire bat, "Wow, this is so cool!" He flew around the room.

"I said don't go batty" Plagg reminded him.

"Okay. I should thank Argos for this but I'm still disappointed in him" Bat Adrien said.

"There's a difference between gift and curse" Plagg swallowed his cheese.

"I know, with curse it's that vampires are eternally young," Bat Adrien said.

"Just like me and I had to watch my previous kittens pass away," Plagg said.

Bat Adrien transformed back to human and landed on his bed, "That means I'm doomed to see my princess grow old and pass away" Adrien said.

"But this is very serious, kitten. Argos has to change you back" Plagg said.

"Let's find out. Plagg, Claws out!" Adrien transformed into Cat Noir.

He jumped out the window to go find that peacock traitor. He remembers what he smelled like but his senses aren't picking up his scent. Could that mean he returned to London?

"No good. He's gone" Cat Noir gave up.

He can hear multiple heartbeats all over the city, "So many heartbeats, I hear one over there. And over there too" He turns his head in different ways.

He soon heard someone's heartbeat getting closer, "Hey there Kitty" It was Ladybug's voice.

"Milady," Cat Noir said.

"How are you doing?" Ladybug asked.

"I have no scent of the bird" Cat Noir said.

"What?" Ladybug raised a brow.

"I mean Argos. I so wanna sink my claws into his feather ass. Cats eat birds and I so wanna eat that bird" Cat Noir strikes everywhere with his claws.

"Guess he ran off to London in fear of you," Ladybug said.

"If I had the tiger miraculous, I would certainly do like the real thing," Cat Noir said.

"You watch too much animal nature" Ladybug rolled her eyes.

"I know, Bugaboo. Let's patrol!" Cat Noir said.

"Is my kitty feeling nocturnal?" Ladybug swung from roof to roof with him.

"Yeah, I blend into the dark" Cat Noir kept running.

"If that's the case, Kitty. Any time now an akuma might appear" Ladybug said.

Cat Noir hears a criminal in the alley and he jumps down to go find him, "Keep patrolling, I'll deal with this one" He told Ladybug.

"It's Cat Noir!" The criminal was being spotted.

"Oh yes. Here to bring you to justice!" Cat Noir showed his claws.

"It's just a few bucks and jewelry, pussy cat" The man smirked.

"Well, I'm gonna make you turn them in!" Cat Noir pounced on him.

"Agh! Get your damn paws off me!" The man struggled.

"Admit defeat!" Cat Noir lifts him up and pins him to the wall.

"AAAGH!!! Okay! Okay! I surrender!" The man screamed.

"Good boy. Hyah!" Cat Noir headbutts him, "Now to follow milady," Cat Noir said.

After bringing the criminal to jail, he found his lady at the Eiffel Tower. The bright lights were too much but he had to get used to it.

"Are you alright, Kitty?" She asked.

"I'm fine, Ladybug" Cat Noir assured.

"That's good," Ladybug said in relief.

"Besides, I like the dark. It makes my eyes glow" Cat Noir said.

"Mmhmm. Pity I'm no firefly" Ladybug joked.

"Cats chase laser dots you know" Cat Noir hangs upside down from the rails.

"Yep. I remember when Maledictator made you act like a real cat I used a laser pointer to guide you" Ladybug leans on the rails.

"Hmph. I can't even remember it" Cat Noir said, yawning a little bit, "My side is clear. No akuma"

"Good. Let's call it a night, Cat Noir" Ladybug said.

"I wish I can hunt all night, milady" Cat Noir yawned again.

"Well see you soon, Kitty" Ladybug pecks his cheek before leaving.

"See you soon, Bugaboo" Cat Noir pole vaulted away.

After coming to his bedroom window, he detransformed and went to look at his fangs in the mirror.

"Well, Adrien?" Plagg asked.

"They are showing up again," Adrien said.

"Do you think you have control?" Plagg asked.

"I don't know. My father is getting on my nerves these days and not respecting my life" Adrien said, brushing his teeth.

"Yeah. But thanks to the hypnosis of yours you can put him under your thumb" Plagg said.

"Yeah but I don't wanna go that far" Adrien rinses his mouth and spits, "I don't understand why he can't see how happy I am with Marinette, my friends, my new life"

"Me either" Plagg shrugs.

"It's been almost a year and yet he hasn't moved on from mom," Adrien said, getting changed into pajamas.

"He has to," Plagg said.

"I have a feeling that the hypnosis won't last tomorrow morning. I can't reveal my teeth in front of him. I don't wanna lose my temper" Adrien gets into bed.

"Then we'll use it again tomorrow," Plagg said.

"I hate to do it but very well," Adrien said before going to sleep.

The next morning, Nathalie made breakfast for him since she hates Gabriel trying to take advantage of him again.

"Thanks, Nathalie" Adrien thanked her.

"No problem," Nathalie said and then coughed too hard from her condition, "Excuse me," She said after finishing coughing.

"This is getting me worried, Nathalie. Maybe you should see a doctor" Adrien said, losing his appetite.

"I'm fine, Adrien. Just eat. I'm totally fine" Nathalie reassured him.

"Alright" Adrien resumed eating but could hear her heartbeat struggling.

"Nathalie, I don't understand why my father doesn't approve that I have a girlfriend. I'm too scared that he'll take it away or worse, ground me for something I never committed" Adrien said sadly.

"He just doesn't understand your feelings towards her" Nathalie said.

"Marinette is so special to me. She's the only girl that makes me so happy and I make her happy too" Adrien explained.

"I know. I support you with her" Nathalie replied.

"Thanks, Nathalie. I'm afraid I don't wanna talk to my father. No matter how hard I reason with him, all he thinks about is what's best for me but it only makes me feel stabbed in the chest. Almost like I wanna....die than live" Adrien finished his meal.

"Don't say that, Adrien. I'm sure your mother would have approved" Nathalie said.

"She really would," Adrien said and saw his bodyguard waiting for him, "Anyways, I gotta go"

"See you soon" Nathalie smiled.

Adrien follows his bodyguard outside, squinting his eyes a little due to the bright daylight. His bodyguard knows that Adrien is Cat Noir and he kept It a secret for him. Proud that this boy has the freedom he deserves.

"Any akuma in sight?" Adrien asked him but his bodyguard shook his head, "Thank goodness" Adrien sighs in relief.
