Adrien was far too primal and his only interest is the bag of blood. He hissed hungrily and tries to reach it but Cosmo Bug kicked him off. The rays of sunlight peaked through the clouds and they burned Adrien he doesn't like sunlight.

"Adrien! Fight it!" Cosmo Bug pleaded but Adrien flew towards the spot that has shadows.

"Hrrrrgh!" He snarled as his eyes glowed.

Cosmo Bug didn't have much time before she transforms back and lose her lucky charm, "Come on Birdie! Hurry up!" She pleaded.

As the sunlight gets covered by the clouds, Adrien roared in rage that he lost his food again.

"Ahoy Cosmo Bug!" Astro Bird flew in.

"Quit fooling around and help me find him!" Cosmo Bug yelled.

"I got the antidote!" Astro Bird held the syringe.

"Perfect!" Cosmo Bug said and ran after Adrien.

She looks at Astro Bird, Adrien, and herself. The blood bag was meant for bait, not for Adrien.

"This is gonna get gross but the only way to smell us" Cosmo Bug dumps a bit of blood on her arms, "Oh, Adrien! Over here!" She called for Adrien.

Adrien flapped his back wings, he smells blood and it was very strong.

"Astro Bird! Catch!" Cosmo bug threw the blood bag at him.

He smeared himself with blood to lure Adrien, "Gross!"

Adrien screeched like a bat that he can smell blood and flies after the two.

"All we need is to get close and inject him!" Cosmo Bug ran next to Astro Bird.

"Are you kidding me?! Bugs and birds are easy prey to predators!" Astro Bird said.

"I'm afraid so," Cosmo Bug said.

"BLOOD!!!" Adrien smashed on the ground to crush them but they dodged it.

"Okay get ready!" Astro Bird said.

"Don't move. As he gets close, do it" Ladybug instructed.

Adrien was too focused on blood but not aware of the trap. As he got closer, Astro Bird jumped and wrapped the needle into his heart.

"ARRRRRRGH!" Adrien howled in pain.

He suddenly began to mutate back, hearing the flesh tearing from the back wings shrinking. Adrien fell down, wearing nothing but torn jeans.

"Miraculous Ladybug!" Cosmo Bug tossed her lucky charm to fix the damage.

"Urrrgh.... where am I?" Adrien sat up.

"Adrien are you okay?" Cosmo Bug asked.

Adrien vomits from whatever he just ate, "Nnnngh..... No. No thanks to my father" He groaned.

Cosmo Bug hears the beeping from her earrings and that she only has 4 minutes left before she transforms back.

"Argos, take him to the hospital. I need to recharge" She said.

"Gross! You're all covered in blood!" Adrien backs away.

"Well, we had to lure you while you were transformed. Bye!" Cosmo bug ran off to detransform.

"It's a long story" Astro Bird carried his cousin to the hospital.

"Thank you" Adrien was barely conscious.

At the hospital, Felix detransformed back and brought Adrien to the emergency room, "Someday I'm gonna eat you, bird" Adrien mumbled.

"We'll see about that. I just cured you from that monstrous form" Felix said.

"And yet I still have my tiny fangs" Adrien scoffed.

"They aren't that noticeable," Felix said.

"But I did get to taste bird blood" Adrien smirked, waiting for the doctors to be here.

"Yeah, did I taste like chicken?" Felix asked.

"Yes you did" Adrien rolled his eyes.

A while later after the doctors checked his vitals, they say that his vitals are normal. Especially his heart rate too. It was a miracle that he was fine.

"He's all good, all vitals are alright," The doctor said.

"So he's free to go?" Felix asked.

"Yes," The doctor said.

Adrien shuddered from being examined, "Hmmmmm..... well the pulse is okay" The doctor checked his heart one more time.

"So I'm alive and totally healthy?" Adrien asked.

"Yes. You're free to go" The doctor said.

Once the two cousins headed out, Marinette stood near the entrance, "Oh Adrien you're alright!" She flung herself onto him.

"Whoa. Marinette. Did Ladybug tell you to come here?" He asked.

"Yes. She told me what happened" Marinette said.

"I for once did something heroic, I cured him. Look, I had nothing to do with him mutating" Felix said.

"Really Felix? Who was responsible?" Marinette asked sharply.

"My uncle tried to imprison me and Adrien," Felix said.

"And I lost control," Adrien said.

"I knew your father is cold but this is madness!" Marinette gasps.

"That coward. See ya" Felix left them.

"He's really full of surprises, isn't he?" Marinette asked Adrien.

"Yeah. One minute he's a bad guy and the next a good guy. Guess he can see that despite being smart he can be a fool at times" Adrien said.

"I'm just glad he fixed you" Marinette hands him a new shirt since the one he wore got torn.

"Yep. Let's go over to your place, I can't stand my father's cruelty today" Adrien said and puts on his shirt and fixed up his messy hair.

Much later they were inside Marinette's room. Adrien felt guilty for losing his temper and had no memory of being a monster.

"Adrien, it wasn't your fault" Marinette comforted him.

"My father is such a monster, trapping me inside just to provoke me," Adrien said.

"Why would he do that?" Marinette asked.

"I don't know. My whole life he fills my head with nonsense about the world being dangerous and that I'm not like everyone else" Adrien explained, stroking her legs.

"You're not like him, Adrien," Marinette said.

"He says I'm more like my mother," Adrien said.

"You do have her looks" Marinette stroked his shoulders.

"Yeah, my princess" Adrien gently touched her cheek.

"I know you hate to go back but I just hope things will work out," Marinette said.

"I'll have to hypnotize him again and again by then," Adrien said.

"But your powers are gone. Remember last time he took you out of school, it broke our hearts" Marinette hid her face in his neck.

"Oh, right. Child services are gonna take me from him and I'm forced to move to London" Adrien held her close.

"But why don't they just give your father a warning instead? Paris is your home" Marinette said.

"That could work, Marinette," Adrien said.

"I can barely survive without you, Adrien" Marinette whimpered in his neck.

"Neither can I, you're the one in my heart" Adrien caressed her hair.

"Please don't leave us all, Adrien" Marinette wept.

"I won't, my love. I'll do whatever I can to stay in Paris. Right now I need to talk to my father as a human this time. The vampire me was just too strong" Adrien stroked her legs.

"That's the spirit my prince" Marinette kissed him.

A while later, the agents from the Child Protection Service were gonna declare that Adrien will be removed from Gabriel Agreste but as Adrien got home, he stopped them.

"Hold on, let me talk to him first," Adrien said and took a deep breath, and got inside facing his father.

"You're back again I see," Gabriel said.

"Yes, and Child Services are here. Ladybug and Felix told them enough about what you've done" Adrien said.

"Father, I may not remember what happened but locking me in was very wrong. You do know that Child Protection Service can take a child away from bad parents. But I'm giving you a second chance if you can be a better parent and not think of what's really best for me" Adrien explained.

"If that's the case then, I'll accept it," Gabriel said.

"This is the last chance too. As a vampire, I learned to truly hold my ground"

"You're not a vampire, Adrien" Gabriel glared.

"But it did change me. Gentlemen, you can give him a warning but if he breaks it again, I'll be under the caretaker of Nathalie. Paris is my home and I have a girlfriend that I love" Adrien said to the agents.

"So be it," One agent said.

"We'll leave you off with a warning, Mr. Agreste. Another strike will be removing Adrien from you" The agent said.

"I assure you it won't happen," Gabriel said.

Adrien made a cold glare at him that he knows he might do it again someday, "I got my eyes on you" He did the gesture of watching you.
