At art class, their friends were trying to get Marinette and Adrien close together like last time. Only this time they made sure that Marinette doesn't get too clumsy again.

"Please guys, is this necessary?" Marinette said nervously.

"Not entirely necessary," Marc said.

"Marc and I need a new comic. We just need you two to hold hands while I sketch the pose" Nathaniel said, holding his pencil out to measure the angle.

"Okay then" Adrien held Marinette's hand, "Well, here goes" Marinette stood still.

Adrien had to remain calm not to hypnotize her, "Happy thoughts Adrien," He thought.

He heard his girlfriend's heartbeat as they held hands, "You still with me?" Adrien asked.

"Yeah" Marinette nodded.

"Perfecto! A great inspiration for lovers" Nathaniel said.

"Thanks, Nathaniel" Both Marinette and Adrien said.

"Um, can we move please?" Marinette asked shyly.

"Sure," Nathaniel said.

"Thank you!" Marinette drags Adrien out of the classroom.

"How embarrassing," Adrien said.

"I'm very uncomfortable around our friends watching us being kissy kissy" Marinette blushed.

"Me too" Adrien agreed.

"Is everything okay at home?" Marinette asked.

"Eh, father still disapproving but I told him off" Adrien half-lied.

"You did what? He's gonna take you out of school again" Marinette gasped.

"He can try but I'm not gonna listen to him. Also, I'm extremely scared to tell you something" Adrien went a little pale.

"What is it?" Marinette asked.

"Not the right moment, Princess" Adrien whispered.

"In private?" Marinette asked.

"Yes. Come with me" He takes her to the boiler room.

"What is it, Adrien?" Marinette wondered.

"The other night, Felix came into my room and I just told him off. But then, I woke up the next day and....." Adrien explained nervously as he opened his mouth.

"Oh my god!" Marinette saw his sharp fangs.

"He used a vampire bat sentimonster and made me into a vampire" Adrien explained.

"That monster! I am so gonna murder his ass!" Marinette felt so angry about what Felix did to her prince.

"Whoa, whoa, Marinette. This change has some upsides. I can hypnotize my father" Adrien tries to calm her down.

"But what about having eternal youth?" Marinette said.

"I don't wanna be immortal and I seriously don't wanna turn you. It's like living in a nightmare. Felix is so done now. He wants to free me but this is not the freedom I see" Adrien said, pacing back and forth.

"What are we gonna do? Felix left Paris" Marinette said.

"He'll come back and when he does, I am so gonna sink my fangs in his neck for ruining my life. Yes, I did want freedom but not like this. I mean hypnotizing my father was okay but still not cool at all" Adrien said, leaning against the wall.

"I agree with you but I'm worried about you, Adrien" Marinette caressed his cheek.

"I'm worried too, Marinette. I want to live a full life like any mortal" Adrien said.

"Does anyone know?" Marinette asked.

"Only you, Marinette" Adrien said.

"Okay good" Marinette sighs in relief.

"But I'm still scared if I go blood hungry" Adrien shivered.

"Then drink mine" Marinette pulled her shirt collar down.

"Marinette, are you crazy?!" Adrien exclaims.

"What happened when you had blood cravings?" Marinette asked.

"I lose control over myself" Adrien explained.

Marinette sighs and decides to listen, "Do you feel hungry now?"

"Not right now. Besides, people would be suspicious of the bitemarks on your neck" Adrien held her close.

"Adrien, no matter what you look like, I'll always love you," Marinette said.

"You always make me happy, Marinette" Adrien held her hands, "My life would be empty without you"

"Same here, Adrien. The day we met may have been awkward" Marinette said.

"I wouldn't say awkward. More like surprising" Adrien said but then heard another heartbeat that sounded close. He puts his finger on his lips to stay quiet and reached his hand out to levitate a bucket and tossed it towards the entrance of the intruder.

"OW!!" It was Lila.

"I knew it" Adrien glared and made Marinette stay where she is.

"Hey! Who threw that?!" Lila looks around in anger.

"Spying on me, liar? It's very disrespectful" Adrien walks up to her.

"Did you throw that bucket on me?!" Lila rubs her head.

"Don't play innocent at me, Lila. You know I hate liars" Adrien glared.

"I am not lying!" Lila lied again.

"Why are you spying on me? I don't care if you try to separate me from the girl I love. I know your tricks and I would never love a liar like you who likes to lie about everything" Adrien bared his fangs and his eyes went red.

"What the?! What are you?!" Lila saw his fangs and red eyes.

"Tell me, Lila. Would you really love me if I was a monster?" Adrien hissed.

"N-No!" Lila got scared.

"That's what I thought. That proves you only love me because I'm a model. You don't love me for who I am" Adrien glared.

"Wait until everyone sees that you are a monster!" Lila said.

"No one is gonna believe that. Good luck with that" Adrien chuckled with a smirk.

Lila ran off as Marinette came out of hiding, "You broke her mind" Marinette said.

"Yeah, clearly," Adrien said.

"Why did you do that?" Marinette asked.

"Because I can't stand her. As much as I wanna expose her, I can't do that in front of our friends. You tried it once but they didn't believe you. Someday karma will strike her back" Adrien explained.

"Everyone's been too blind for too long," Marinette said.

"And let's hope karma will get them to open their eyes. Speaking of that, I can't burn in daylight but my eyes are like nocturnal" Adrien said.

"Looks like you need to wear sunglasses often," Marinette said.

"Aww....But you love my gorgeous eyes" Adrien playfully pouts.

"Yeah, green as the finest emeralds," Marinette said.

"I don't know how you'll see if my eyes go glowy red like a vampire" Adrien walks out of the boiler room with her.

"We'll see about it" Marinette replied.

"What? It's like we are in a Twilight movie" Adrien chuckled.

"Only you're not sparkling in sunlight" Marinette joked.

"You would totally never take your eyes off me if I did" Adrien chuckled and headed out the door with her, "Anyways, maybe I can come by tonight as a bat. Literally"

"Sure, my prince of darkness" Marinette kissed his cheek.

"See you tonight, my love" Adrien kissed her cheek too, and headed to his bodyguard's car and Marinette sighs in love seeing him go.

Adrien was now in the kitchen eating his meal, still angry at his father for trying to tell him to break up with Marinette. And to try to get him to be with Kagami again.

"For the last time, I'm never breaking up with her. Do not ruin my life, father. I don't care if you ground me" Adrien growled.

"You will whenever you like it or not! Marinette is not the right type!" Gabriel protested.

"Give me one good reason why?" Adrien felt the urge to bite him in the face.

"She's not perfect for you!" Gabriel yelled.

"So the derby hat didn't mean anything to you? Her designs didn't mean anything to you?!" Adrien raised his voice, "Does anything about her not mean anything to you?! You barely know her!" Adrien ranted, "I know you sent Lila to spy on me. Better yet, you told her to get Marinette expelled. You tried to get rid of her, didn't you?!" Adrien held his fangs in without revealing them.

"Yes! I just wanted her to stay away from you. No son of mine is gonna date a baker!" Gabriel admitted.

"Are you even listening to yourself?! What kind of father are you?! Ever since mom disappeared, you became a monster! You barely remember my birthday, my pain, my bad days, my life! I had to take care of myself because you never had time for me!" Adrien pushed his father really hard against the stove, "I don't even know you anymore!"

"ARGH! How dare you?!" Gabriel groaned in pain, it hurt even more due to him crashing on his cataclysm arm.

"No, how dare you try to hurt an innocent girl who is kind and sweet. Ground me all you want but you can't force me to break up with her" Adrien leaves the kitchen, not regretting with the powerful push he did.

He got into his room and locked the doors, "Outrageous! My father's just a monster just like Monarch is!" Adrien sat down on the couch in frustration.

"How long has he never left the house?" Plagg asked.

"Barely. He never leaves it" Adrien said.

"You should've sunk your teeth in him," Plagg said.

"I'm not a monster, Plagg. Speaking of that, I need to feed" Adrien felt his stomach hurting again.

"Well, let's go hunting," Plagg said.

Adrien transformed into a bat and flew out. He searched for any prey, regardless of size. It wasn't easy but he had to find one before he grows weak without it. He smelled rats in the alley and he flew down to find one, transforming back to human form.

"Time to get started," He said to himself.

"Better hurry up before your spooky eyes make you nuts," Plagg said.

"Look away if it makes you sick" Adrien looks for any rat in sight.

"Cats sometimes eat rats," Plagg said.

"Of course" Adrien then soon spotted a rat and grabs it with great reflexes, snapping it's neck to kill it.

Sinking his fangs to suck the blood for a few seconds, "I need more" He said once finishing this rat. So he grabs another rat and drains it too.

"Like a cat hunting his prey at night," Plagg said and saw Adrien turn around with blood around his mouth, "Gross. Wipe your mouth next time" Plagg said.

"Sorry" Adrien took out a napkin to clean his mouth, "Anyways, time to see my princess" He transformed into a bat again.

At Marinette's house, she was just laying on her loft bed thinking of Adrien, "Man, I can't believe I have my own prince of darkness" Marinette said and heard fluttering wings coming through her open window, "AH! A bat!" She pretends to panic.

The bat transformed into a boy, "Is that a way to treat your prince?" Adrien landed on her loft bed.

"Just kidding, Adrien" Marinette chuckled and hugs him.

"I just escaped my father again," Adrien said.

"Let me guess. He pissed you off" Marinette guessed.

"Yes, and I decided to go away for a while," Adrien said.

"You did the right thing. Perhaps Felix now wanted you to escape by yourself. He may have betrayed everyone but you succeeded with your freedom" Marinette said.

"Even though I'm 15 in a few months," Adrien said.

"You could live with me. My parents love you like a son to them" Marinette said.

"Well, we better explain everything," Adrien said.

"I'm worried. Gabriel is a very powerful man. Remember what happened during the giant gorilla incident?" Marinette reminded him.

"Yeah, I became a wanted boy by then," Adrien said.

"And that's what I'm scared of. Your father could sue me and my parents" Marinette tears up a little.

Adrien sighs and thought of a way to stop his father's insane ideas, "I'll stop him. I just need to be away from the house for just a day. But....I need to be sure if I do have vampire weakness"

"Like crosses, garlic, holy water, stakes, or fire?" Marinette guessed.

"Yes. Do you have those?" Adrien asked.

"Hmmm. Let's see" Marinette goes to one of her cupboards and searches through them.
