~(Y/N)'s POV~

It was earlier in the morning before school started and I was out in the park before anyone else was. The cool crisp morning air relaxing me as I did stretches. Hoseki poking his head out of my satchel over by the rest of my things. I picked up the wooden Kendo sword, taking a deep breath before assuming my position. "Three. Two. One. GO!" Hoseki said. I lunged forward with the sword fainting to the left before sneaking around my invisible enemy quickly and striking from the right. I then twisted around back to the front before jabbing three times at their chest and stomach before flipping over them and holding the wooden sword to their back. "Excellent form as always but you need to stop trying to come from the front. Remember, coming from blind spots is always better." Hoseki called out. I assumed my original position and continued practicing for a while until I got tired. I removed my helmet before sitting down on the bench and reaching for my water bottle. Only to find it wasn't there. "Looking for something?" I looked over to see Adrien holding my water bottle out to me. I smiled a little taking it from him. "Since when were you here?" I asked. "I've been watching from afar for a few minutes. Not that long. You have amazing form." He said. I laughed a little, taking a sip from the water bottle. "Thanks for the feedback. But what would you know about sword fighting?" I questioned. He sat down next to me with a confident smile. "I take fencing classes. So I know plenty about sword fighting. Not much about Kendo. But from what I could see you have amazing reflexes." He said. I hummed a little while taking another sip of water. "I'm honestly curious about how well you'd do with a fencing saber." Adrien admitted. I smirked a little. "Well if you have one on you we can find out." I said. He laughed a little. "Well we do have fencing try outs this evening after school if you're interested." Adrien said. I smiled at him. "I might just take you up on that." I said. 

~Time Skip~

I looked at the fencing equipment before finding the right helmet. I slipped it on doing a few stretches to test how I could move. I picked up a fencing saber. "A little lighter than what I'm used to." I muttered before throwing it into the air, letting it spin, then catching it as I dodged an enemy attack before striking at their chest. "But that has it's perks." I added. I bent the sword a little with a hum before walking out with the other people who wanted to join the team. I noticed Marinette and smiled a little, settling on her left. Since I had the helmet on she could tell who I was and I waited for the try outs to start. "Fighting more experienced students huh?" I questioned to myself getting into a guard verses my opponent. "Let's do this." I said, smirking to myself. The student and I fought it out for a little before I hit him over and over shocking a few of the others who stopped to watch. Mr. D'Argencourt the fencing instructor stopped the match. "Young lady, your skills are impressive to watch, may I ask your name?" He questioned. I was about to answer when Adrien removed his mask. "I recognize that style. (Y/N)?" He tried. I smiled removing my mask. "The one and only!" I announced cheerfully. Mr. D'Argencourt nodded. "The transfer from Japan. Right. I had no idea you were skilled with the art of swords." He said. I smiled tossing the bade into the air and catching it like before. "I practice Kendo in my free time. Fencing is way different I'll admit, and the sabers used are a lot lighter. But a lighter weapon has its perks." I said. He nodded. "Please, continue. We have two spots open, but I think one of them might have just been filled." He said before walking away. I smirked a little winking at Adrien. He winked back before I flipped my mask back on and got into a guard. This continued for a while until someone in red stepped up, ready to try out. I rolled my eyes a little before flipping my mask off and walking to the front of the crowd. Mr. D'Argencourt shot me a look. "You're welcome to try. But we only have one spot left open. One just got filled." He said. I was shocked before bowing quickly in respect. Adrien walked up patting my shoulder with a smile. "Congratulations." He said. "But to win that spot, you'll have to defeat one of my students." He said. The person in red looked over before stomping to the front of the crowd. "Which of you is the most worthy opponent?" They questioned. We all stepped aside revealing Adrien. He flipped his mask on ready to fight. Me and Marinette stood by eachother and after seeing some of the other person's skills she sighed. "Well there goes my chances of being on the team." She grumbled. "Don't count yourself out just yet Marinette. They still have to beat Adrien." I said. Eyes firmly trained on the fight. Once the fight started heating up and they took it up stairs I jumped over the crowd chasing after them to watch. Marinette circled around and we both stood by the library door watching. The fight continued brutally for a while until both their swords hit. "Who got it? Who touched first?" The person in red questioned. Mr. D'Argencourt crawled up asking the same thing. "I think it was Adrien." Marinette said cautiously. I shook my head. "The person in red." I muttered. They both shot eachother looks and me and Marinette shared a look as well. I shrugged. "I honestly have no clue. But maybe Marinette's right?" I said in a questioning tone. I shook my head slightly scratching the back of my neck. "Its really close but I'm sure someone hit the other first." I said. 

After that more chaos ensued and we all settled that Adrien got the point. The other person stormed off in a rage. Me and Adrien shared a look as my eyes softened. "I'm going to go after them." I said, running after them. Adrien followed close behind and we caught them by their car. She took off her helmet and declined Adrien's request of a decisive match. Then she took off. Adrien jumped in his car and followed. I growled a little, seeing an Akuma flying after the limos. I quickly found a safe spot and transformed before flying overhead as Draco. Pretty soon Ladybug came too. I scooped her up. "Need a lift Bug?" I questioned. She smiled at me. "Draco, good timing. Follow those limos! There's an Akuma." She said. I wrapped my tail around her leg and swung her up onto my back. "Hang on tight then!" I said, chasing after them. But we were too late seeing as the girl got Akumatized. I dropped Ladybug off and got out my Katana. "RAHG!" I roared bringing it down on the armored fencer. She blocked and tried to slash at me only for me to smack her with my tail and send her flying. Ladybug came in and kept her distracted. "Get Adrien out of here!" She shouted. I nodded landing next to him. "Get on." I said, turning my back to him. He complied quickly getting on my back and I took off. I noticed Ladybug about to get hurt and growled a little. "Hang on there Adrien. Things are about to get rough." I hissed. I dive bombed Riposte slashing at her with my sword when Adrien leaned to the side, forcing me to turn in order to avoid an oncoming attack. I growled a little. "Thanks for the help. That could've been bad." I hissed. "A-anytime Draco." He stuttered out. "Watch my back for me. If she comes in for another attack steer me away from it." I said. I dove in again, giving Ladybug time to recover while Adrien helped steer me away from her sword as I slashed at her. "That's some fancy flying right there. But get Adrien somewhere safe Draco!" Ladybug shouted. "You got it Bug." I said pulling back from the fight. I hid on the rooftops letting Adrien get off my back. "D*mnit. Where's Cat Noir when you need him." I hissed to myself, peeking around the corner. "Maybe he's....busy?" Adrien tried with a shrug. "Well he might need to cancel his plans soon." I mumbled. 

The fight continued and I had to relocate Adrien somewhere else. I eventually hid him and got back to the fight, Cat Noir showing up a little later. We finally managed to beat her after a while. I restrained her giving Cat Noir time to destroy her sword and Ladybug purified the Akuma. Cat Noir and Ladybug had to bail so I checked on the girl. "You alright miss?" I asked. She slowly nodded and I helped her up. "Is anything hurt?" I questioned. She shook her head no. I smiled a little. "Great. Get a move on now. I have to find someone." I said. She nodded again and left the building. I searched around and found Adrien before helping him up. "Smart of you to change hiding spots." I said. "Thanks Draco. How's Riposte?" He asked. "She's doing alright. Girl's safe and unharmed." I said. He nodded with a smile. "I heard Cat Noir finally showed up." Adrien said. I nodded. "Yep. Thankfully. Between you and me I get along better with Koneko than the bug." I said, winking at him. He chuckled a little. "I need to head out now. Later Adrien. And once again, thanks for the help with dodging her attack earlier. Not everyone is brave enough to take a dragon by the horns." I said. I started running up the stairs before smiling back at him. "May the stars watch over you." I called back to him before leaving. 

I watched from afar as Adrien made up with Kagami. The girl seemed nice. I walked out as (Y/N) after a while before walking home. Hoseki was busy munching on a Snickers Bar in my satchel. I slumped into my chair at my desk before sighing out in relief. Hoseki flew up next to my head. "Something wrong?" He asked. I shook my head before looking at him and chuckling a little. "You have some chocolate on your face Hoseki." I said. I wiped it off the dragon kwami and he laughed a little. "So you're on the fencing team now." He said. I rolled my eyes. "It was about time I got into some after school activities. Besides, it might be a fun pass time." I said. He nodded. "Well I'm glad you're making friends. You and Adrien seem really close." Hoseki said. I smiled. "I can't wait to get to know him. He seems a little dense but not as bad as Izuchan at least." I said while sweat dropping. Hoseki talon-palmed. "That boy didn't know Sho had a crush on him until I slapped him across the face and told him." He grumbled. I started laughing. "Fun times." I said. Hoseki grew silent for a minute before looking outside. "Hey (Y/N), do we have any Camembert in the fridge?" He asked. I raised an eyebrow in confusion before nodding. "I think we do." I said. "Alright, thanks." He said before flying downstairs. I shook my head in confusion before changing into my night clothes and heading to bed. 

~Time Skip, Hoseki's POV~

I silently snuck out while (Y/N) was snuggled down into her blankets and pillows. I flew out the window carrying the Camembert I got from the fridge in a small box. I then waited on the rooftop leaving the box out to the side. Pretty soon I spotted a tiny black figure flying in from the distance. The cat kwami stopped, floating in front of me. "Plagg." I said. "Hoseki." He returned. I smiled brightly jumping up and pouncing the kwami of destruction. "Ack! Get off me you dumb dragon!" He shouted. I wrapped my tail around him nuzzling his forehead. "Accept the affection!" I hissed at him playfully. "NEVER!" He declared trying to push me off of him. But I could easily tell he wasn't trying to actually get me to let go of him. If he wanted me off he would have gotten me off. Plagg is just a tsundere. I eventually did get off of him and sat on the roof with him next to me. I nudged the box to him. "Go ahead and open it." I said. He sighed. "What is it with you and always giving me gifts?" He questioned before starting to open it. "It's a dragon thing." I said. Once he lifted the lid on the box his eyes widened and he immediately downed the Camembert. I chuckled a little at him. "The way to your heart was always through food." I said, shaking my head at him. He gave me a look. "Funny. I have a gift for you too." He said. I titled my head to the side. "You? A gift for me?" I questioned. He rolled his eyes. "Oh shut up." He grumbled. I laughed a little before he cut me off by kissing my cheek. I immediately froze up before curling up into a ball and squeaking. He snickered a little. "So easily flustered Kiki." He said. "Shut up." I muttered, smacking him with my tail. I sat up before nudging him slightly. "I missed you." I muttered. He snorted a little before resting his head on top of mine. "Missed you too." He said. He lingered for a minute, eyes softening as I wrapped my tail around him. "Something up?" I questioned. He sighed a little, leaning on me. "Once Draco came to town I knew you had returned and I just...It's been years since we've last seen eachother." He said. I pulled him a little closer to me before nuzzling my snout on his forehead. "It's alright Plagg. I'm back now." I muttered quietly. He hugged me tightly without saying a word as that old possessiveness rose in my chest again. I placed one of my paws on his back in a comforting manor as he buried his face in my chest. I rested my head on top of his, letting my eyes drift shut as I began purring a little. I noticed Plagg smirking a little. "So cute when you purr Hoseki. It rarely happens, so it's always a treat to hear." He said. I immediately pushed him away from me. "Way to ruin the moment Plagg." I hissed at him. He chuckled a bit. "What? No one expects a dragon to purr. So I feel privileged to know that they do." He said. I grumbled a curse or two under my breath before standing up and stalking around Plagg. "Y'know, it's been forever since I've heard you purr." I said. "Hoseki...Don't you do it." Plagg growled. I smirked a little, letting my tail swish around me as I lowered myself into a hunter's crouch. "No! I'm not having this!" He shouted, trying to fly away. I pounced, pinning him back to the rooftop as I started nuzzling him and scuffling playfully with him.

"STOP IT HOSEKI!" Plagg shouted as I nuzzled him. "Never." I responded continuing to tickle him until I got that purr I was looking for. I let the cat kwami back up as he sat next to me again. I kept my tail around him in a protective manor before he gave me a small grin. "I know I don't say this often Hoseki but...." He trailed off kissing my check again. "I love you." He said. I smiled as well before nudging him with my forehead. "I love you too Plagg." I said quietly.
