"A calico? Yellow Eyes? Amulet?" asked Aayla's best friend, Chloe as she tilted her head, her green eyes genually confused. Aayla nodded. "Ya," She said, "This is the amulet"
She held out the black cat amulet. Now that Aayla got a good look at it, She saw the head of the cat was dotted with two yellow spots like eyes. Chloe smiled. "Pretty, Aayla!" She commented. Aayla smiled and pushed back her blue tinted hair out of her face. "I'm gonna put it on" she decided after a moment. She lifted the charm over her head and dropped it, letting the cold metal-linked chain drop and settle around her next, pressing against her skin and making her shiver at the sudden contact of the cold metal object. Chloe sat wide eyed, then her eyes going back to normal. "Well THAT was anticlimactic" Chloe grumbled as nothing happened.

Aayla frowned. "But what about the voice I heard? I'm sure I heard it! I'm not going insane!" Aayla insisted, grabbing Chloe's shoulders and shaking the tall girl. Chloe shook free. "Look maybe you were day dreaming!"

Aayla sighed. "Maybe your right." she unconsciously began twirling the necklace in her fingers as she thought. "I know!" Aaya exclamed, grabbing Chloe's hand and running out of her home and to the alley where she saw the cat. Aayla clutched her necklace and whispered, 'Come back I need your help"

Just then, the calico with yellow eyes walked out again. Chloe watched in awe as the cat padded to her, pressing the cats nose against Chloe's forehead and placing a second pouch in Chloe's palm. The cat walked off and Chloe opened the pouch. Necklace, much like Aayla's, is what she pulled out. This amulet had the same charm, but it was gray and had blue eyes. Chloe dropped the necklace over her head and her necklace sparked. She yelped in surprise, as a wave of sudden pain and freezing cold washed over her. It started out painful but soon became warm and welcoming, the feeling you get when you help someone. Aayla at the same time got the same feeling of cold and pain, but this wave ended in a sudden urge to fight and protect anyone at anytime from anything bad that happened. Aayla opened her eyes as the wave left and saw a gray cat standing in Chloe's place. "Chloe? CHLOE?!" Aayla yelled. She suddenly noticed the gray cat wearing the necklace that the calico had given Chloe. Aayla also noticed that she herself had gotten smaller. She chanced a look at her feet. Paws. Black paws. Her first thought of this was, What. The. Actual. Fuck.
