Corinna's POV

"Corin It's Danni, her and your brother were hit by a car," Mr Adams stated in front of the whole class.

"No that can't be true, she's pregnant what about the baby?" I was so shocked. The class was staring. They knew we were close seen as he was my gymnastic coach, well we were more than that.

"I don't know Corin, we should go, I have a substitute covered for you guys, we should get to the hospital," He rushed grabbing his coat.

I jumped from my seat and ran into the table next to me. The corner was sharp into my stomach making me pull back. My hands clutching the sore spot as people gasped.

"Are you okay Corin?" He asked.

"Urgh?" I wasn't sure. I moved one of my hands and saw it coated in deep red blood.

"Should I call an ambulance?" Alice one of the girls in my class who sat at the table that I walked into said.

"N-no, we're headed to the hospital now anyway so it should be fine, just a little blood," I tried to smile. I walked carefully out of the room quickly followed by Mr Adams.

"Corinna are you sure your okay that looks pretty bad?" He stated.

"It's okay Nathan, we need to get to the hospital for Daniella and Alex," I sighed as we got to his car getting in.

When we got to the hospital I felt slightly weak but I was okay other than losing a bit of blood. When we were in the car he had taken off his shirt so I got put it over my cut to try and stop the bleeding.

"Nathan, are you going to break up with Daniella?" I asked pecking his lips.

"Of course Corin," He smiled kissing me back.

We quickly went into the hospital and up to the desk.

"Hello, we're looking for Daniella Adams and Alexander Jacobs they were hit by a car," I smiled softly.

"Also she needs to be seen by a doctor or nurse," Nathan added.

"Okay, Fletch can you show these two to Daniella Adams and Alexander Jacobs and then get her checked out," The man said.

"Of course," A male nurse said walking over to us. I fumbled with the shirt to make it look like I was holding it, so they'd let me see my brother.

I didn't go in the room with Nathan as I just walked past seen as I needed to see Alex. The nurse who was called Fletch took me to Alex's cubicle.

"Alex your okay," I exclaimed awkwardly hugging him.

"Yeah just a broken arm and rib, Daniella, is okay too," He smiled softly.

"That is so good, I'm glad," i smiled back.

"Now, little lady shall we check you out," Fletch asked.

"I'd rather you didn't," I stated.

"Corin, you need to be checked out, I don't know what's wrong but I'm pretty sure he knows better than you," Alex stated in a low growl.

"Okay I will," I frowned.

"Alexander, we will be back soon, Young Lady follow me," Fletch said.

I frowned again and followed the man to another cubicle.

"Can you sit on the bed please?" He smiled softly. I did as I was told and sat on the bed.

"So, what's your name?" He asked.

"Corin Jacobs," I stated. He raised an eyebrow, "Okay, Corinna Jacobs."

"Okay Corin, What is wrong?" He asked.

"Nothing," I stated still grasping my stomach.

"Have you got stomach pains? Are you pregnant?" He asked.

"No, I'm 16 for heavens sake, why would I want to waste my life on having a kid," I hissed.

"Then what is wrong?" He asked.

I removed the shirt to show the bleeding cut.

"Tom, can you come to cubicle 3 please," He yelled.

"It's not that bad, it doesn't hurt," I stated.

"What is it Fletch?" A young doctor asked.

"This is your patient Corin Jacobs, she is 16 years old and she has a gash across her stomach," Fletch said.

"Hey I'm Dr Tom Kent, Corin, how did you get that nasty gash?" He smiled softly.

"Mr Adams, my teacher and gymnastics coach told me that my brother and his wife had been hit by a car so I got up and ran into the corner of the table," I shrugged.

"It looks like you've been stabbed are you sure that's what happened?" Tom asked.

"Do I look stupid?" I asked. I kind of do look stupid, I'm the slut look alike. I have blond hair blue eyes and a perfect figure, "Actually don't answer that, but it's true, you can ask Na- I mean Mr Adams," I frowned.

"You and Mr Adams seem close," Fletch stated.

"Well he's my teacher, my gymnastics coach, Daniella his wife was a gymnast before she got pregnant and my brother and him are best friends so yeah we're close," I shrugged.

"Can you lift your top up please?" Tom asked.

I did as I was told. I was poked and prodded.

Daniella's POV

I wasn't stupid I knew my husband was having an affair but my baby deserved better than me as a single mother. Corin, was a naive child like I was back then as well as the girls before me. Nathan is 38 and I'm 19 so I can only presume there has been girls before me. There is probably already a girl that he's picked out after Corin. Seen as she is 16 like I was when we moved in together.

"Baby what's wrong?" Nathan whispered.

"Nothing, where's Corin?" I asked.

"Probably being checked out she ran into a table in class so she has a cut on her stomach," He shrugged wrapping an arm around me.

"Is she okay?" I asked slightly shocked. Although I loved Nathan and everything Corin still mattered to me and if she was hurt I wanted to know she was okay.

"Yeah, but that's not important, soon we'll be a family," He smiled.

I just smiled softly hoping he thought it was genuine.

Fletch's POV

"Tom, I really think something is wrong with Corin," I stated.

"She's quite healthy, so what are your concerns?" He asked me.

"Don't worry," I said shaking my head.

"Okay, we need to keep her under observation for a bit," He stated opening the curtain to her cubicle but she wasn't there.

"Just great, I guess we're going to be searching for her?" I sighed.

"Yep, you check, her brother and I'll check Daniella to see if she went there page me if you find her and if you don't keep searching," He stated.

I quickly made my way to her brothers cubicle but she wasn't there so I wen to the ladies bathroom. I slightly opened the door to the entrance.

"Corin are you in there?" I yelled.

Corin's POV

I was in the bathroom un-sure what to do. I know what I was doing was wrong but i needed to tell someone. It wasn't consential, well at first it wasn't but then I went along with it, I thought I loved him.

"Fletch, everything is so wrong," I cried.

"Corin can you come out here sweetheart," He called softly.

"One second," I cried. I grabbed some tissue and wiped my eyes before walking out of the toilet.

Fletch wrapped an arm around my shoulders pulling me into his chest. I just sobbed. I didn't know why, I just had to and it felt good.

"Come on, let's get you back to cubicles, Dr Kent and I have been worried sick," He smiled softly.

"Of course, you have I'm just another patient with another sob story," I shrugged as we walked to my cubicle.

"Corin, what's wrong?" He asked.

"Nothing," I stated.

"Something's wrong I just found you crying and look what you did to my top," He chuckled pointing to his chest that had a stain from my tears and mascara.

"Sorry," I giggled.

"So you found our little runner, I thought you were a gymnast?" Tom laughed.

"I am but I can take up running," I frowned.

"So what's wrong princess?" Tom asked.

"It's just awkward, and I know I should have told someone before now, but he threatened me and told me no one would believe me," I stated.

"We will believe you Corin, just please tell us," Fletch said softly.

"I was fourteen when it started, I think he did the same to Daniella," I whispered.

"What happened Corin?" Tom whispered as they sat either side of me.

"I saw him every day and I fancied him and I think he knew that, hense why he went after me not other girls and I don't have a Mum or Dad to protect me so he'd see me as vunerable," I said softly, "He came up to me at the end of class and said he loved me."

"It's okay," Tom whispered wrapping an arm around me.

"All my friends said they had someone who loved them, but I had never had a boyfriend before so I thought it was a perfect chance. He was my gymnastics coach too so when he saw me there one lesson he told me that everything that was happening between us I couldn't tell anyone. That night was the night he took my virginity, he raped me and I thought I loved him," I cried.

Both men had their arms wrapped around me.

"It's not your fault Corin, he would have been very manipulative, he would have done this to many other girls before you," Tom said softly.

"I think he did it to Daniella, she's only eighteen and they've been together for a while their married, and she's pregnant, he had an affair with me,"I cried, "Daniella was like my sister and I hurt her so bad."

"It's not your fault, we're going to have to inform the police, and speak to Daniella, but who is the person you are talking about?" Tom asked.

"Nathan Adams my Teacher and Gymnastics coach," I sobbed.

"We'll be right back," Fletch said tensing up.

Tom's POV

It wasn't fully unexpected but it was still shocking.

"What are we going to do? We have to tell her brother," Fletch said.

"We can't not unless she let's us, but we have to tell the police," I stated.

"I know if this was my daughter I would not just sit here helpless, we have to help her," He argued.

"We can't I'm sorry, but we have to try and help her as much as possible," I sighed.

"Tom," Sam shouted.

"Yes?" I questioned.

"It's Alex Jacobs he's in critcal condition, he has internal bleeding and it could be fatal," She stated.

"Do you need help?" I asked.

"Please," She nodded.

"Fletch, stay wiith Corin and don't tell her," I stated.

Corin's POV

Fletch came back into my cubicle but Tom did not.

"What's going to happen?" I asked.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"With me, Daniella and Nathan," I stated.

"You and Daniella should be fine and will live your lives normally after this is over and he will probably end up in prison," He shrugged.

My breath hitched. What have I done?

"No, he can't," I said shaking my head.

"We have to tell the police Corin, it will all be fine," He stated.

An hour later.

Tom entered my cubicle with a sad expression emprinted on his face.

"What's wrong Doctor?" I asked turning my head slightly.

"I am very sorry to tell you this Corin but your brother Alex has passed away," He said softly, "The staff and I have tried our up most best to treat him but he had some internal bleeding that we could not cure."

"Your lying," I said bursting into tears.

"I am so sorry Corin," He sighed shaking his head. He rested a hand on my shoulder.

"What's going to happen now, I have no family, no one to take me in, I have no where to live, I'm only sixteen," I cried.

"It will be sorted out, don't worry," He sighed.

A Year Later

Dear Tom,

So how's life treating you now? Mine, it's okay, I'm back on my feet after all the tragic events, I never thought I'd ever send someone to Jail especially Nathan, the person I thought I loed a year ago, before I met you of course.

Daniella and Lucy are okay. Lucy will turn a year old in a month a bit. She is a spitting image of Nathan and that's what pains me not that I'd tell Danni, but I'm pretty sure she feels the same way. I visit them often to check on my God-Daughter. Danni is dating again but is going slow, she's had a couple of date's with this guy named Harry but it seems promising mainly because he is the first guy not repelled of her because she has a child.

I visit Alex's grave at least once a week depending on my college load. I miss him a lot but it has only been a year. Although it sounds selfish I hope I shop missing him as much, it hurts so much, it makes my heart ache. I still have the day you came into my cubicle and told me he had died playing my mind like it just happened, it's crystal clear.

So my new family are great, I am so releaved Fletch took me in and not some random stranger that I didn't know. He is an awesome guy, as you know seen as you worked with him, but he doesn't really show much authority but he is like a Dad. His three children, Emma, Mikey and Evie are great too they are like siblings but would never be like Alex seen as they are not my blood relation.

I can't believe you moved to Africa for your job, I know it opened those oppurtunities, for the people and you also but I miss you like crazy. I hope we'll see each other soon, please come home, I miss you.
