I go to sleep. Nothing happened in my sleep. After that I wake up a get ready for breakfast. Somehow me normal toothpaste and clothes are here. I guess that shouldn't surprise me considering what happened yesterday.

I go to breakfast and see that they are serving pancakes. I take a couple and eat. Next we go up to the staff arena as they are calling it. It is said we will have a tournament. I'm put against a boy named Eric. The battle begins when Eric summons a gust of wind at me. I use more wind to push me out of the way. He strikes the ground with his staff. A fissure appears in the ground and powerful gust of wind comes out of it. I don't know how but I flick my wrist and the fissure seals itself.

Everyone:"how!!"

I launch myself at Eric and he swats at me with his staff. I summon a platform and dodge out of the way. A twist in mid air and smash my staff into him. A gust of wind comes from my staff and knocks him to the ground. I won this battle.

I watch two more experienced people with the element of fire battle. One is named Jack and one is named Tom. Jack is about 5 foot 6 and stocky. His black hair mixes with his red eyes. Tom is a couple inches shorter, 5 foot 3 but built strongly. His brown hair and blue eyes contrasts leaving a confusion effect.

Jack blasts a bolt of flame at Tom. Tom deflects it off the top of his staff. He then slams his staff against the ground, and a column of flame erupts from the depths, and slams into Jack knocking him on his back. Jack twists to the left, narrowly avoid a fireball. He springs up and smacks Tom in the back with his staff. Tom turns and grabs Jack by his arm. During this moment of confusion Tom sweeps his staff back and forth, crushing Jack. Tom wins.

Next we take a break. As Tom comes up to me I tense. It turns out he's just congratulating me on my win.

" you won? Good job for a rookie I guess" Tom says

Anyway, over the next few minutes we prepare for are next battles. Next up are two lightening duelers Bob and Mark. Mark is huge. 6 foot 7 with a strong build. Brown hair and brown eyes. Bob is tiny. 4 foot 3 and wiry. Orange hair and yellow eyes give him a slightly scary appearance.

Bob slams his staff toward Mark. Quick as light Mark flips over Bob and slams his staff into him. Bob stumbles forward directly into a bolt of lightening. While Bob is stunned Mark points his staff at Bob and a lion leaves a gash in his head. He is healed and Mark won in a dominent battle. I'm told later that Mark is the defending champion.

Next is two earth duelers named Rob and Angela. Rob is about 5 foot 6 and a little fat with black hair and black eyes. Angela is about the same height as Rob but skinny with brown hair and brown eyes. Rob was the other person in the finals last time.

Rob wait and Angela throws a pillar of stone at Rob. It cracks in half in front of him and changes form into a wolf. It leaps at Angela and she chops it's head off with her staff. She sinks into the earth and reappears behind Rob. All of a sudden, The ground under her erupts and she is pulled into a slimy brown ooze. She is shot out of the ooze into the ceiling. As she hits the roof it's declared tat Rob wins.

Now it's time for lunch. They are serving ham sandwiches. They taste a little bland but still, filing enough. All of a sudden

" what you doing there!" Says a voice

" who are you?" I say

I look behind me but nobody is there. After lunch we have classes. My first class is on summoning animals.

"First we learn how to summon an animal of choice, then animals chosen by me." The teacher instructs.

On my third try I manage to summon a rabbit. I look around and only one other person in the class of 7 summoned anything. They had summoned a rat. After a few minutes most of the class has it but my animal is always the biggest. By the end of our five minute practice I am able to summon a horse. Then comes teachers choice. He chooses a pig. I get it on my first try but everyone else takes 20-30 tries to get it right. The teacher appraises me with new respect.

We go through wind classes and learn how to split objects by pulling it apart with wind we have dinner, After dinner ( rat eyes in pig soup ) not as bad as it sounds and supposedly good for magic. We go to our rooms. I get to mine first and change to go to bed. As I'm about to go to sleep I remember my book of wind spells given to me the night before. I read for a couple hours before falling asleep.
