The next day in school, everyone just stared at her. It was dead quiet. Everyone agreed that it was a wonder she didn't get arrested instead of the driver, who was speeding at the time. Jasmine found Orion in the hallways and pulled him aside. "Why is everyone avoiding me, Orion?" She whispered. She barely remembered everything, except the incident.
               "Get away from me." Orion snatched his wrist back and said, "I wish it had been your life instead of his." Jasmine stood still, watching him walk away. She didn't understand. She didn't mean to kill him.

               Jasmine didn't have time to think about it that much. She had just tried to blow up a city memorial, and per usual, Orion was there to stop her. Jasmine was choking Orion against a wall. She knew he was almost out of breath. Nearly dead. But he just smiled as he tried to resist. "You love seeing me like this, don't you? Pinned-" Jasmine let go and kicked his stomach, knocking him to the ground. "You really are disgusting, you know that. I could probably be a better hero than you," she laughed, and Orion groaned, trying to stand up, but he collapsed again. 

               "You don't know what it takes to be a hero." He grunted as he tried to sit up. "By the looks of it, you don't either." Jasmine laughed. She was about to leave the alley when Orion stopped her. "Why don't you just kill me?" She turned around and saw him smirking and getting up. "You must care about me in some way to not finish what you're so dedicated to." Jasmine watched him stumble over to her, putting a hand on her shoulder. It felt..familiar.

                "Orion, I want you to die slowly," she barked with a sadistic smirk. "I want to see you scream in pain; I want you to bleed out. I want you to die in the most horrible way possible." He just laughed. "Kinky, don't you think?" "Get away from me." Jasmine pushed his hand off of her, stepping back so he wouldn't fall on her. "We're enemies. Why can't you accept that?" Orion looked up and sighed, lying through his teeth. "I don't know." He knew Jasmine knew the reason. He just didn't want to say it out loud.
