Cassandra just said goodbye to Rapunzel before her departure, and now with her dad, a former captain of the guards, she is heading to pick up Fadella and then set off on a journey aimlessly.

Meanwhile, Varian, having learned of Cassandra's departure, of which he still has a crush, is uncertain whether to greet her or not, so he goes to her friend Eugene to ask for advice with a little embarrassment.  Nobody knows about her crush on the young woman.

"Hey Eugene .." Varian greets the captain of the guards as he enters the guard room.

"Hey kid, did you want to ask me something?"  Eugene asks.

"I ... yes. There is something I wanted to ask you" the little alchemist says with a hand behind his neck "Do you know if Cassandra has left?"

"Why do you ask me that?"  the friend asks, biting an apple.

"Cause emh .. I'd like to greet her .." Varian replies.

"Well, I know she's about to leave, so if you want to say goodbye, you better go now. She went to the barn for-"

But Eugene is interrupted by Varian who thanks him.  The boy starts running to the stables, but when he arrives there is no trace of Cassandra or her horse.  So that dull Varian makes to go back to Eugene with a slow pace when he hears a voice behind him.

"Hey kid, won't you greet me?"  asks the young woman.

"Cassandra," Varian exclaims with a smile as he approaches her with a quick step.

"I was looking for you .. But hey, you're wearing the Cassandrium" the young man says amazed.

"How could I part with it?"  Cassandra asks smiling "It's very important to me" she says touching the pendant with one hand.

"Are you .. Are you serious?"  the young alchemist asks incredulously.

"Yes Varian and by the way .. I would like to confess something" Cassandra says quite embarrassed.  Varian has never seen her like this.

"Me too, actually" says the young man "you know I wanted to do it before you left" puts a hand behind his neck as a sign of embarrassment.

"I .. I wanted to tell you that .. Well .. Aaaah, fuck off" and after having exclaimed these words Cassandra pulls Varian to herself and prints him a kiss on the lips, which Varian reciprocates by turning the kiss from a simple and chaste one, to one  passionate and full of oppressed feelings for too long.

"Was that what you wanted Cassie to tell me?"  Varian asks as soon as he is released from the kiss.

"Yes, that was it. And you?"  Cassandra asks.

"It was just that" smiles the boy and Cassandra returns the smile.

"Why don't you stay?"  Varian asks.

"Because this place is not my destiny, but I will come back for you, I promise".

And after a last kiss full of tears and sadness, the two say goodbye, with a promise.  One day, Cassandra will return to Corona to live her life with the man she loves, Varian.
