File 2

I have to stop him fast- Yamaguchi's eyes watered. How could he convince him though? The Tsukishima Kei? They were best friends ever since he had saved him, and now, it had been the opposite.

He was going to end Yamaguchi.

Kageyama Tobio; he had attended Karasuno's agency simply because he heard that the famous Ukai, the one who trained Karasuno's agents to become one of the best, had been coming back. He maybe even made them better than the current Shiratorizawa. Kageyama hadn't done anything wrong...

Or did he?

Impossible. Yamaguchi knew Kageyama hadn't been like that. Aside from his crazy genius mind, he hadn't been the best with words. Perhaps he had a clue- maybe about the recent killing of Kindaichi?

Yamaguchi couldn't think of such nonsense. Someone had been standing right above him, ready to place a bullet in his head. "Any last words? Your death will do the agency some good- perhaps you want to turn yourself in?" Yamaguchi's breathe hitched as his heart raced, "I-I didn't do it." Tsukishima raised an eyebrow.

"I didn't do it, okay?! Shoot me if you want, but I won't take the blame for something I didn't do," he mumbled quietly, "at least not while that bastard is alive and loose...

"You need to believe me, Tsukki-"

"How do I know you're not lying?" He pushed his glasses up with his other hand, "you do know this will be better for me if you're dead, correct?" Yamaguchi gritted his teeth, "you know me more than I know myself, Tsukishima Kei."

 "Yes, I do-"

"So why the hell do you think I killed Kageyama Tobio? What the hell was my reasoning?!"

"Depends on how you look at it," the tall blonde smirked. It irked him, the idea of shooting his best friend and his partner in crime and all, but he had to act calm. Think about it, who could be capable of killing Kageyama Tobio other than anyone in the agency? But if that was the case, who killed Kindaichi Yuutarou, and why? Was there possibly more than one person?

Tsukishima lowered his revolver, looking Yamaguchi directly in the eyes. The freckled agent gave a soft smile, "thank you, Tsukki."

"No need to thank me," he held a hand out for his partner to grab, same expression plastered on his face, "if I figure out that you are part of this case in any way, I'll-"

"Kill you myself, no?" Yamaguchi grabbed the other's hand, pulling himself up. "I promise I will prove myself innocent." Tsukishima sighed as the freckled male dusted off his suit. "So, what now?"

"What do you mean? We first need to get all the possible information on the murders, then find evidence-"

The first year's gaze softened, "but you will get in trouble if anyone figures out you know I'm here... I think I should do this myself-"

"Don't be dumb," the blonde sighed, listening to the vehicles which had given off some sort of noise when they had zoomed by. "You specialize on the outside. You need someone to get you in. If you plan on working alone, fine by me- but you won't manage to stay away from agents without someone on the inside."

"Tsukki," Yamaguchi gave a some what sweet smile. "Thank you."

"Let's go," the tallest beckoned, walking towards the road. "Where to? There's no way I can go back home," the shorter of the two mumbled, following Tsukishima shortly after. "Hey," the male with the black rimmed glasses said, "at least you can see crimes through the culprit's point of view. In my opinion, that's not a bad thing."

"Tsukki..." This so called 'criminal' had his eyes tear up, but he wiped his tears with the sleeves of his blazer. The one gifted with height exhaled, "what am I going to do with you?"

"I'm only fifteen years of age- I couldn't do such a thing, Tsukki-"

"And you didn't," Tsukishima stated while looking ahead, "or so you say. Listen, Yamaguchi, we'll clear your name if you're innocent. I can promise you that.

"Karasuno is no more than a high school you graduate from."

"That doesn't make any sense!" Yamaguchi shouted, stopping in his tracks, causing Tsukishima to do the same. "What doesn't-?"

"It's way more than an agency! I'm never going to clear my name-!"

"Shut up, Yamaguchi-"

"I refuse! You're going to get in trouble the second they figure out you're helping a criminal like me with-"

"Without Kageyama!" Tsukishima grabbed his left wrist with his dominant hand, shutting the freckled first year up. "Without Kageyama," the blonde softened his tone, "Karasuno is no more than an agency run by a couple of high schoolers."

"Yeah, but-"

"There is no more to that. The only thing you have to worry about right now is Aoba Johsai." The taller male explained, letting his grasp free, "the captain of Seijoh doesn't seem the happiest about what happened to Kindaichi Yuutarou." Yamaguchi then had his eyelids expand, "he was such a kind guy..."

"Oikawa Tooru suddenly seems to be having some difficulties after his death and he seems to be having a few counselling sessions with their Ace, Iwaizumi Hajime." Tsukishima placed his hand on his head, tired from all the ruckus. First, his best friend has been labelled a murderer. Second, he was just about ready to shoot him. Thirdly, he had to help Yamaguchi out.

Just what got into him?

"If we don't clear your name quick, Shiratorizawa will get involved-"

"How so- What the hell?" The freckled boy clenched his teeth and fists. "Ushijima Wakatoshi. The best captain and Ace out there. That doesn't stop him from groveling at Oikawa's feet."

"Why Oikawa's? I don't even know what's going on-"

"You like to put pieces in place, don't you?" Yamaguchi then nodded, "very much."

"He wants Oikawa to come to Shiratorizawa, Yamaguchi."

"Oh," he murmured, kicking a rock underneath his feet. "Kindaichi Yuutarou had been killed at the time we had been there. What agency was that?"

"Karasuno," Yamaguchi answered. "Now, what agency had Karasuno been visiting?"

"Aoba Johsai." Tsukishima smirked, "so who's the killer?" The shorter male's eyes had widened, "someone from either Karasuno or Seijoh..."

"Correct," Tsukishima grinned, ruffling the other male's greenish hair. Yamaguchi couldn't help but smile to the friendly gesture. "But how do we know no one else had been there?"

"Easy, we just get the check-in info," the blonde placed his hands on his hips, his black suit blending into the background. "There may be more than one killer around here."

"What do you mean?" Yamaguchi asked, kind of wishing Kageyama had been here. Where was his genius when you needed it? "If someone from Karasuno's agency killed Kindaichi, Seijoh would think it had been Kageyama and killed him to get back at him. If someone from the outside killed Kindaichi, framing it on Kageyama, causing his death, and blamed it on you-"

"It was someone who had wanted to get back at Kageyama... or most probably, myself..."

"Exactly."

"This may be harder than it looks," Yamaguchi bit his thumb, "than everyone and anyone is guilty."

"Perhaps someone knew you would investigate..." Tsukishima mumbled under his breath. "Sorry?"

"Perhaps someone knew you would try and prove your innocence. Maybe that's why they framed it on you... That means that when you're investigating Seijoh-"

"Someone else will die- and it'll look like I did it..."

"Not only that but-"

"Kageyama never killed anyone. If that's the case, there's one killer, Tsukki."

"And that killer is-"

"From Aoba Johsai itself." Yamaguchi hit his fist into an open palm. Tsukishima chuckled slightly, "can you stop stealing the words from my mouth? You're stealing my spot light."

"What spot light? It's dark as hell!" Yamaguchi stated bluntly, before the two bursted into laughter. Ah, yes. Even the two no one knew could be so friendly towards eachother had times like these. And those were times Yamaguchi Tadashi had missed.

But today seems chilly. "It'd be safe if you'd stay over at my house for now-"

"That's crazy." Yamaguchi said, "not to you directly, Tsukki. The first place the agency would check would be my best friend's house."

"I get that, but this way I'd have a sufficient way of getting information from you and to you." The blonde explained, placing his hands in the pockets of his warm jacket. "That's not a chance worth risking," the freckled male concluded, avoiding little eye contact with his partner. "Then, where should you stay?"

"A hotel is alright-"

"Don't be an idiot," Tsukishima cut him off, "there may be a chance you'll get caught there faster than at my house."

"It's a risk I can handle."

"The hotel farthest from any agency. Meet with me here again tomorrow, I'll have to give you a few things." Yamaguchi then tilted his head slightly, "things like?"

"Clothes, extra cash," Tsukishima gave a mischievous smile, "and a few other things."

"That still didn't-"

"You'll see tomorrow. Right now, you need to take cover," the tall blonde smacked his back slightly. "Stay alive, Yamaguchi." The freckled first year gave a very sweet smile, trying to cover it up. "You can't tell that to me twice, Tsukki."

"Yeah, yeah. Then don't make me repeat it twice."

"I won't," Yamaguchi smiled, giving two thumbs up. "I'll see you tomorrow, Tsukki."
