Chapter 1

Louis is a 22 year old man who chose to move out of his home because of the tension between him and his mother, don't get him wrong he loves his mother and she loves him to an extent...

When he was a was younger they did everything together, he was truly a momma's boy, they would watch movies while cuddling, go out to eat at random times, she would surprise him with gifts when it wasn't even his birthday but when he came out as gay at the age of 15 you can tell that she started distancing herself from him.

No more cuddles, no more sharing a nice brunch together and no more surprise gifts everything just stopped. She still did her motherly duty's by cooking and cleaning for him but when they talked she didn't look at him the same way she did before he came out.

They would sit at the table and eat in silence, when he tried to tell her about his day in school you could tell she wasn't listening because she would answer with the nod of her head or a hum to let him know she was listening even though you can tell she clearly wasn't. When he got bullied in school all he wanted to do was come home, cuddle with his mom and hear her say "it's gonna be okay" but that never happen. Most days after he came home crying she wouldn't be there, she made sure that she worked all the time only to be home at dinner time then she'd go to sleep then be gone back to work before he even woke up the next day.

Louis would cry himself to sleep most nights thinking why didn't his mummy love him anymore? Why did he have to get bullied?

So some nights he would be at his best friend, Liam, house until dinner time to make it seem like she was at home the whole time cooking, cleaning and waiting for him to come but deep down he knew she was walking in just before he did.

At first he didn't know why his mummy suddenly just stop treating him the same but when he got older he started to put two and two together, seeing that she didn't like his "life style" as people like to call it. She would bring coworkers over to have dinner with their "very single" daughters and try to get them to go out. The women even set up blind dates, making him think they were going to do family time then she'd ditch him with some random that he didn't even want to touch.

The last blind date he had with a girl was the day he decided to moved out of his mom's house, leaving her behind and everything else.

-Flashback-

"Boobear get dressed were going out to dinner." Jay, his mother uses his childhood nickname only meant one thing, she wants something but he didn't mind because he missed hearing the name.

The now 19 year old, yes he's still living with his mom, groans and gets out of bed. He knows this night would not end well but he still goes with it anyways because deep down he wants to make his mum happy even when she doesn't make him happy anymore.

Louis puts on a white V-neck shirt with a black blazer, some black skinny jeans and black vans. He brushes his teeth and walks down stairs not even caring about his hair, when he gets down stairs his mom is wearing a black dress that goes right below the knee, hair flowing down to her shoulders perfectly.

"You look nice, mum." He says with a smile on his face.

"Thanks Lou," she says not even looking at him, still checking herself out in the mirror.
"Well let's go," she says grabbing the keys and headed out the door not even giving him one look.

"Here goes nothing." He mumbles with a sigh, closing the door behind him and locking it.

The car ride there was nothing but silence, Louis hated silence, his leg bobbing up and down as nerves begin taking over. He knew what was happening every time she used "Boobear" he knew that it was another blind date waiting to happen, he just sits there staring out the car window waiting for the moment the car stops, they walk into the restaurant his mum waves at the girl she wants her son to desperately date even though she knows he's gay, then she makes up an excuse to leave so they can be alone then leaves a very unhappy Louis with a strange girl that he's never seen before.

They get out of the car and heads into the restaurant, he holds the door open for his mum even though he knows she's not gonna thank him for it.

"Table for two?" the red haired girl ask while taking out two menus, "No, we're here with someone. They said they were here already." Jay says looking around the place until she spots a brown haired girl waving at them from a table in the far corner.

"See there she is," she says while pointing at the girl. She grabs Louis hand basically dragging him to the table and pushing him into the seat across from the smiling girl and taking her own.

"Hey Jay, this must be Louis," the girl says while giving Jay a side hug.

"Yep this is him! Louis Eleanor, Eleanor Louis." Jay says giving her son a smile like they have the perfect mother-son relationship.

"Nice to meet you," Louis says with a soft smile not wanting to be rude.

Louis looks at his a mom seeing her smiling at her phone and he knows especially what that means. "Well look at that. I've been called into work for a late shift."

"Of course." He mumbles to himself. Jay smiles giving the girl -now known as Eleanor- a hug and Louis a kiss on the cheek then leaves the two sitting there looking at their hands. Like clock work, why does she even get dressed up?, Louis thinks while looking up to smile at the girl.

"Hello, I'll be your waiter this even. Would you like to start with drinks or you're ready to order?" the cute brown eyed guy says with a smile.

"I'll just take a water and Chicken Alfredo. Please." Louis says trying not to stare at the cute waiter.  "I'll have a Caesar salad with some red wine. Thanks," she says not even giving the waiter a glance.

"Coming right up." The waiter says giving Louis one last smile before walking back into the kitchen.

"So tell me about yourself, Louis." Eleanor says folding her hands on the table.

"Um I'm 19, I live with me mum and I'm in college. That's pretty much it," he says putting his hands on the table trying to stop fidgeting and leaving out the part that he's gay learning from experience to not tell a girl that you're on a "date" with, straight out that your gay because after that their true colors come out.

"Oh and what are you in college for?" she says while the waiter puts down their drinks and walks away.

"Drama! I want to be a drama teacher." He says with the first real smile of the night, the one that goes all the way up to his eyes.

"Tell me about yourself." He ask trying to seem interested.

"Let's see I'm 21, live in a flat with two roommates, and work for a fashion magazine as an assistant." She says reaching to put her hand on top of Louis'.

"Oh cool so you like fetch coffee for the boss?" He says while pulling his hand out from under hers and takes a sip of water, making it seem like that's why he took his hand away.

"No. I edit all the work before it goes to the boss," She says looking a little offended by Louis' words.

"Here's your Chicken Alfredo, sir and here's your Caesar salad, miss. Enjoy." The cute waiter says while placing the food on the table then leaving with one last smile to Louis, making him blush and look away. Eleanor just sitting there watching the encounter play out with a frown.

"What was that?"

"What?"

"With that waiter?" she says harshly while watching the waiter leave.

"I don't know what your talking about."

She looks back at Louis, "You know exactly what I'm talking about. He just made you blush and now you can't stop smiling. Are you gay or something?" She asked.

"And what if I am? I can't smile at a person?"

"If you are than you're fucking gross and you going to hell!" she says with anger all in her voice not even trying to be quiet.

"Well for your information I am gay and I'm proud to be one and if I do go to hell it would be way better than living in a world with people like you!" He yells in her face while standing up, leaving her sitting there with a dumb look on her face.

He gets home and sees his mum sitting on the couch waiting for him. "Boobear, how was it? Isn't she such a wonderful girl? Did you to plan a second date?" she says with a big smile on her face.

Louis doesn't even speak to her, he's tired of her trying to hook him up with girls when she knows that he's gay. She's known since he was freaking 15 years old, why can't she just except him for who he is?

Louis goes to his room packs all his clothes and essentials before coming back downstairs to his mum still there with a smile on her face but that soon drops when she sees the bags in his hands.

"What are you doing, Louis?"

"I'm leaving! I'm sick and tired of you always trying to make me something I'm not. I don't want to be with all these girls, who are homophobic bigots that can't accept a person for who or what they are." He says trying to hold in the tears that are threaten to fall.

"Why can't you just acceptt me, mum?" he asks but she just stands there looking shocked just like the day he told her he was gay.

He walks pass her, gets in his car an drive straight to the one person he knows that loves him for who he is and never judges him.

He gets out the car leaving all his bags, just wanting be far way from the memories of what just happen.

Louis knocks on the door and waits for it to open.

"Liam." Is all he said before he let's the tears fall for the first time, falling into his best friends arms.
