I think it fine also they look cute together sometime because on season 1 finale peridot and Jasper use Lapis to find the crystal gems  home on earth season 3 Peridot change but she try her best to say sorry to Lapis but didn't go too well she destroy the gift that Peridot give her but turn out at the end she forgave Peridot on season 4 they getting pretty along each other at the barn they even have a pet pumpkin it came to life but on season 5 when Steven tell them what happens on home world Lapis was so scared and try to take the barn into space along with Peridot and pumpkin but she don't want to leave earth that make Lapis upset so she took the barn and left earth then at Garnet wedding she came back and smash blue diamond with the barn when she landed they look at each other then Peridot and Lapis got poof by yellow  diamond then at change your mind they change and help Steven to get to white diamond after that they saw them and hug them at the movie they become close again Peridot also Lapis should try to fuse like this

Anyway on SUF they came close sometime 

so do I ship them together sure alright
