you always have a choice. you can either roll over and die, or you can keep fighting. no matter what

WHILE THE GROUP sat in various places around a camp fire in the middle of the woods the day after the fall of Terminus, Isabelle stood in the middle, about to tell her what her and her family did for a living.

"Those things back there, at Terminus, amongst the humans, they were Vampires and Vampires," Isabelle bluntly stared and at the various scoffs that went around the group, mostly from the red head and his team of misfits, she continued. "My family and I hunt the things that go in the night — ghosts, ghouls, witches, wendigo's, rugaru's, and other things."

Rick rubbed his jaw and looked at her with raised eyebrows, surprisingly taking it pretty well. "You mean all the myths are real?"

She nodded. "Even angel's and demon's," she stated, glancing at Crowley, Meg, and Jack. "Heaven and Hell are very much real."

"And how do you know that?" Abraham asked, standing up. He turned so he was looking at everyone. "Why are you believing this girl? She's delirious and sounds like she belongs in the nut house!"

Daryl and Rick quickly stood up, facing Abraham, looking defensive. "She just saved our asses!" Rick hissed, his eyes narrowed, and his blue eyes not welcoming. "You saw those things back there! You saw and heard what they did!"

"I believe her!" Daryl spat, his eyes icy and cold. "A few days back, we were grabbed by something, something not human and it wasn't a walker. She saved us then just like she did now. Sit yer ass down and listen to what she says!"

Abraham puffer his chest before taking a seat, his eyes cold.

Isabelle sent a small smile to both Rick and Daryl before both men took their seats, too. "My family and I went around the world, saving people from the things that went bump in the night."

She grabbed her bag and shuffled through it before bringing out a journal, and she flung it at Rick who caught it. "That has every monster and creature me and my brother's have come across over the years."

"So... angels?" Carl spoke up, his arms wrapped around his baby sister. "They are real?"

Isabelle nodded. "I actually have an angel who I consider a friend," She hesitantly said, her eyes glancing around at the group to take in their expression. Everyone seemed to be taking it pretty well, except Abraham and his group. "Erm, Meg and Crowley over here are demons."

That got a reaction.

Rick abruptly looked up, his blue eyes immediately looking to Meg and Crowley who sent sarcastic smiles and waves.

Then, Crowley cleared his throat. "We're not much of anything, not anymore," he said, giving Izzy a look.

Izzy nodded and looked at everyone. "They died and somehow was brought back, but without their powers, so they're pretty much humans," she informed the group, biting her lip, glancing at Jack who nodded. "And Jack is a Nephilim."

"Nephilim are half human and angel, right?" Carol asked, gulping slightly.

Izzy nodded. "But, Jack lost his grace which was practically his angel being, so he's pretty much a human, too." She wrung out her hands as she was filled of anxiety as she took in everyone's expressions.

"Have you ever been to Heaven or Hell?" Rosita asked, taking in the girl with raised eyebrows. She didn't want to believe the girl, especially about angels and demons, but she knew what she saw.

Izzy swallowed thickly and nodded. "Yes, I have."

"Was it cool?" Carl asked, looking excited.

"Hell yeah!" Crowley chimes in which made Claire elbow him harshly in the side. "What?" he looked confused.

Isabelle shook her head at him before facing Carl to answer his question. "No," her answer was short and blunt. "I'm going to be honest. It's not cool and you're constantly getting tortured. Well, at least I was."

Flashes of her time in hell appeared in her mind and she had to close her eyes, breath in and out, before reopening them.

"Time in hell goes slowly, so only a few days in real life is actually years in hell," she explained, her eyes haunted, and the whole group could see that. "I spent sixty years down there, getting tortured, getting ripped piece by piece. Trust me, you wouldn't want your worst enemy to live through that."

Everyone was silent as they took in her words and saw the expression of pure pain run across her face. Abraham knew that look — it was the look of a soldier who has been through a lot of shit.

After a beat, Isabelle just went on talking about her life, going over the important things that she and her brother's grew up with. She didn't go into full explanation mode, but she talked about everything that moulded them into the people they were today. She especially talked about her mother's death that kickstarted the whole adventure and how it affected the whole family.

She briefly explained who Crowley was, why God was an asshole who didn't give a shit about the world he created, and then she went on about how her and her brother's have died and came back multiple times. She even went on about how her mother was resurrected by God's sister because they had helped her reunite with her brothers.

She even explained the whole ordeal about Jack and even told them who his father was which made several people question his status, but the doubts went away once they remembered how innocent he was. Plus, it didn't help that when she was saying that Lucifer — the devil — was his dad, he was chasing a butterfly while giggling.

She went on about the fight between Michael from the other world and Lucifer that might've kickstarted the apocalypse, but wasn't really sure.

She basically told them her whole life story, about the beginning of her adventures, everything inbetween, and the ending. It was a big rollercoaster that had people in tears, and had everyone respect her even more. She has been through a shit storm, but was strong and wonderful. They admired her.

It was hours later, the sun was setting, and everyone was either taking a load off or was chatting amongst themselves when Izzy walked over to Daryl, her eyes full of worry and concern.

"Where's Beth?"

"We got surrounded by walker's. I had her go ahead and when I caught up to her, she was taken by a car with a white cross on the back of it," he explained, looking down, biting his lip in defeat and anger. He could've done better. "I tried to find her, but I couldn't. I'm sorry."

Izzy sucked in a breath before leaning her head on his shoulder. "It's okay. We'll find her. One way or another. I promise you that."
