Chapter 17: Saved By the Wedding Bells

The disguised lady walked into Carrie's dressing room and spin changed into a different wedding dress and got all dolled up. She adorns a rose as the finishing touch on the flower crown as she began to sing. "This day is going to be perfect. The kind of day of which I dreamed since I was small. Everybody will gather round, say I look lovely in my gown. What they don't know is that I have fooled them all." Her eyes lit up a different shade of blue as it pans to Dot and Carrie, trying to find their way out of the maze.

"This day was going to be perfect. The kind of day of which I dreamed since I was small." Carrie sang out as she fell to her knees. Dot knelt next to her as they looked in a cracked mirror, the shards giving different reflections of them. "But instead of having cake, with all my friends to celebrate, my wedding bells, they may not ring for me at all." She looked up to the partly cloudy sky as they stood back up, running around again.

"I could care less about this dress. I won't partake in any cake." The lady knocked over Carrie's vanity and the mirror shatters on impact. "Vows? Well I'll be lying when I say 'That through any kind of weather, I want us to be together.' The truth is I don't care for him at all!" She held up a pearl necklace and she tore it apart as the beads spilt everywhere. "No I do not love the groom! In my heart, there is no room!" The lady picked up the broken mirror and looked through it's cracked mirror. "But I still want him to be all mine!!"

Carrie and Dot continued to run through the maze, as they got closer to the exit, and Carrie continued to sing. "Must escape before it's too late, find a way to save the day. Hope? I'll be lying if I say.. That I don't fear I may lose him to one who wants to use him. Not care for, love, and cherish him each day!" The two find the exit, but it was blocked as Carrie pushes up on it. "For I oh so love the groom, all my thoughts, he does consume." Dot pulls out her trusty mallet and handed it over to Carrie. "Oh Yakko Warner, I'll be there very soon!" And she swung it at the door a few times before it broke, and they escaped to run back to the studios

"Finally the moment has arrived for me to claim my lucky prize." The lady spoke while walking down the aisle with Carrie's mother while Carrie and Dot made it back into the studios. "Oh the wedding we won't make. He'll end up marrying a fake! Yakko Warner will be-" "Mine, all mine." And she giggled evilly, ready to let this be all hers.

(Much later)

"Vell then, Yakko and Carrie, it is vith great pleasure to pronounce you-" Dr. Scratchandsniff began to finish up the speech before Dot came through and said "STOP THIS WEDDING!!" And everyone turned to face her. "Dot is right.. It's my special day!" Carrie came in behind her and everyone gasped. "I don't understand. How can there be two of them?" Wakko scratched his head as he looked at the two. "Ladies and Gentlemen, the Carrie that is about to wed this poor cartoon is a fake! Look at her. She is obviously more taller than I am, as I am 5'2! More curved, more rough edges. And look at the hair. It's synthetic. This hair is a wig!" Dot then pointed out the price tag still attached at the bottom. "Look at this. The price tag is still on the wig from Party City. And this dress isn't correct either! This is the right one that Carrie was meant to wear!" She pulled out the shoulder cut silk dress as the crowd started to mumble in suspicion. "So I know it's not Hello Nurse at all, but someone else." Carrie immediately takes the wig off of the lady to reveal..

"Minerva Mink?!" Yakko exclaimed with the rest of the audience. Minerva sighed in defeat and looked at everyone. "Alright, you caught me. I was just so butt hurt on not being invited. And her beauty stands out a whole lot more." Carrie stares at her and she threw the wig away. "I knew that we forgot someone. I must have misplaced yours." She then handed over her actual invitation and Minerva held onto it. "I am so sorry. I didn't think things through all of the way..." She apologized and the 4 gave her a group hug as everyone awwed. "What are we waiting for then? We got a real wedding to plan for." Dot spoke and brought Carrie into the dressing room and got her ready for real this time.
