Carrie was painting a nice canvas a week after the whole birthday celebration when she stops and sets her paintbrush down. She turns in her chair and looked at Yakko standing there. "Hellllooooo Carrie. I was wondering if you wanted to come with me to the garden area in the park tonight. There's something that I should let you know about." She thinks of the offer and nodded at the idea. "Yeah. I've been wanting to get out of the tower more and explore the sights." Little did she know there was something else in store that's planned out..

(Flashback)

It was after the party and Lucille and Benny were about to leave. "Hey, Lucy, Benny. I just wanted to thank you both for coming to see Carrie and how far she has come." Yakko greeted the two and Lucille knelt down to his level. "We're glad too. Hey, um.. Yakko, correct? There's something we should tell you.. We're very glad you have made Carrie more happier than she has ever been. Honest. We were trying to win her over with a court appeal, but Amelia just kept persisting and wouldn't give her up. When we lost our son, her father, we couldn't stand to lose her too. When we heard that she was okay, we were thrilled.. Benny? Go ahead and tell him."

Benny gave him a rose gold ring with encrusted diamonds and an Amethyst as the crown jewel and places it firmly in a small box. "If our granddaughter is truly what you wish to be with, we give you our blessing. Just promise to always be true to her, okay?" Yakko immediately took it and stuffs it in his pocket. "I swear on my whole life I will never let her or both of you down!" And as the two drove away for the night, he began to get to planning on how to make the whole thing worth it.

Carrie had on a blindfold as her and Yakko took a walk through the garden. "Are we almost there yet? You know I don't like surprises that much.." As soon as they got to where they wanted to go, he took off her blindfold to let her view a romantic candlelit dinner with lights hanging around the tree and a banner that said "Happy 1 year of being together." The two sat together and enjoyed their meal. "This is a really nice surprise sweets. I really would like to thank you for this.." Carrie held onto Yakko as they listened to the romantic music playing on the radio for them. 'It's now or never man. This is your chance to reel her in.' Yakko spoke to himself and then he found the courage to begin the entire speech. "Hey Carrie? There's actually another reason why I brought you out here." Carrie scratched her head in confusion and curiosity. "Is that so? Go ahead and say it."

"You heard of the saying 'Star crossed Lovers'? Well, when we first locked eyes on one of your solos in the tower, I felt an instant connection. Not all for your looks, but for what was underneath. Carrie, we have both shown each other the true meaning of what it means to be true to someone. There isn't a day where I want to be alone without you. You really mean so much to me, that I want to give you something that will secure our bond." He began fishing through his pocket, pulling out an assortment of stuff before getting the little box and handed it over.

Carrie looked at it and opened it up to look at the beauty of the ring he gave to her. "Oh Yakko.. It's perfect. How'd you know about the birthstone?" She asked and Yakko explained that "Oh, a little birdie told me, And the gift is perfect for what I'm about to ask you." Carrie's mind immediately clicked and she immediately smiled, tears of joy welling up in her eyes. "Go on.." He took the ring and asked her, "Carrie Serafima Nelson, will you-" but before he could finish, she tackles Yakko in a big hug and immediately said "Yes! Yes! A thousand times yes!"
