As night fell after the call from her mom, Carrie arrived back at the water tower, but stayed outside, sitting on the grates, holding onto the railing. She then began to think about something that happened before she met the Warners, when she was still back in Colorado. Her mind began to race about the mysterious voice that was calling out to her one faithful night. Dot came outside and saw her pondering. "Hey, you plan on coming in?" She asked and then sat down next to her. "Soon Dot, but I've been thinking about something. Before I met you guys, A long time ago actually, I heard a voice from far away. It wasn't my fathers at all." Dot's eyes widened, she didn't think that it was her that heard her song. "Um Carrie? That was actually me.."

(Flashback: The day before she found the tape.)

"Goodnight Carrie.." Amelia stood up from sitting in one of the chairs in Carrie's room, and she stood in the doorway. She shuts off her light and closed the door, and Carrie fell asleep. Though she didn't stay asleep for too long, and heard a song ring in her mind. It had been calling to her since her 13th birthday, and it was only her that heard it. Carrie sat up in bed, and looked out her window, and then tried to go back to sleep, but the call continued. Carrie groaned and got up from the edge of her bed. Then she heads out of her bedroom door and closed the door gently to not wake her mother.

"I can hear you, but I won't.. Some look for trouble, while others don't. There's a thousand reasons I should go about my day, and ignore your whispers, which I wish would go away. Oh.." Carrie began to walk downstairs and covered her ears, but the song just sailed through the blockage. "You're not a voice, you're just a ringing in my ears. And if I heard you, which I don't.. I'm spoken for I fear." She looked up at a painting of her father she made and took it down from the wall, staring at it. "Everyone I've ever loved is here within these walls. I'm sorry secret siren, but I'm blocking out your calls." She steps towards the balcony from the kitchen, but tries to control her urges.

"I've had my adventure, I don't need something new. I'm afraid of what I'm risking if I follow you.. Into the unknown!" She caved in and stepped onto the balcony, looking towards the sky on her toes. "Into the unknown! Into the unknown!!" Carrie stopped and looked back down, holding onto her arms, and climbed down the stairs to the backyard. "What do you want? Cause you've been keeping me awake. Are you here to distract me, so I make a big mistake?" She called out to the voice as she opened up her fence gate, and then she laid down in the grass. "Or are you someone out there who's a little bit like me? Who knows deep down.. I'm not where I'm meant to be?"

Carrie sat back up again and made visions with her power that she had so far. "Every day's a little harder, as I feel my power grow.. Don't you know there's a part of me that longs to go.." And she steps into a cloud of those visions predicting her future. Her success, a contract, friends, and the sparkling figures of the Warner Siblings. "Into the unknown? Into the unknown! Into the unknown!!" Then the young voice called out to her again and Carrie finally answered the call, sending her signal back. "Ooooooooh. Are you out there? Do you know me? Can you feel me? Can you show me?! Oooooooooooooh!" Both voices sung together for a while and the spirit began to drift away, and Carrie followed it up a mountain.

"Where are you going? Don't leave me alone! How do I follow you-" She ran up the mountain, but the spirit fades as she reaches out for it. "Into the unknown?" Carrie then releases little crystals as they began to spread. She sighs and then headed down the mountain and back to her house, and she got back into her bed. Carrie closed her eyes and fell asleep much more quicker.

(Meanwhile)

The crystals arrived in Burbank and arrived at the water tower. Dot looked outside and stared at them intently. "What is it Dot?" Yakko asked from inside. "I.. I don't know, but I think our other half finally answered the call.."
