Chapter 10: Date Night.

The scene transitions to Carrie tidying up her bed. She shakes off the pillowcase and out flies a little letter. "Huh, what's this?" She asked herself and she opens up the envelope to read something from Yakko. 'Movies at 7:30? There's a premiere we can see.' And it showed two tickets for it. Carrie turned around to be face to face with him. "So will you?" He asked her, giving off a little bit of a cute expression and Carrie nodded. "Of course. Now I got to find out what to wear.." She sighs and looked at herself in the mirror.

"Hmm.." Yakko then spun her around real fast and stopped her when she is in a red sparkly dress with no back and a hilt near the end. "Now that truly is art." Dot then appears on the scene with a bunch of makeup stuff. "Now for your hair and makeup. Allow Ms. Dot to take care of you." A cloud of powder sets in as she began to get to work. Afterwards, the powder cloud had cleared up, and Carrie's hair was in a fishtail braid, she had on smokey purple eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara, her cheekbones carved out with some blush, and her lips were the right shade of light and dark red with some gloss to make it stand out more.

"Oh.. Wow.." Carrie stared at herself for a little bit and turned to see Yakko and Wakko gawking at her beauty. The two hit themselves over the heads with mallets and then give off a wolf whistle, then at the same time, they speak out their catchphrase while jumping into Carrie's arms. "Helllooooooooo Nurse!!" She chuckles and held onto them both. "Oh boys.." Her eyes laid upon theirs and she sat down for a while.

(At the premiere)

Carrie was walking along the red carpet, having a talk with some fans, shaking a couple of hands when the press began to have some mumble towards the crowd. "That's Carrie!" "The one who escaped from her mother? How did she do it?" "Oh wow.." Then the camera began to capture a lot of her and a journalist comes up to her with a pen and paper in hand. "Ms. Carrie! Over here! How does it feel knowing that you're safe in the hands of a big company?" And Carrie rubbed her neck a little bit, telling the reporter. "Well It wasn't always easy, but I couldn't have done it without the three zany siblings that truly mean something." Then Yakko came up to the reporter, taking him away. "Alright, buddy. I think that's enough. She doesn't need to think about any of the mess that was created." And the two head inside to get some snacks.

"Yakko, I'm fine. I can answer for myself." Carrie reassures Yakko as she helps pay for the large tub of popcorn. "Right, I know.. I just didn't want you to be thinking of those horrible moments that were really brutal. I'm being truly honest with you." She lets out a breath of a laugh as they walk into the auditorium, and the two take their seats near the back. "Hey, look. I don't know if you know about this, but I really think that you're a swell gal to be around." Yakko spoke to Carrie as she takes his hand. "Aw, thanks. I really do think of the same when I'm around you too." Their faces immediately turn pink and they look away from each other as the show began, lights dimming down and the place going dark.

(Later)

The two were walking home after the show was over and Carrie takes her hair out of it's styled up-do. Then her hair poofs back into it's curly status. "See? This happens every time that I try to make it look nice. Everyone's just like 'Oh. You should style your hair and it'll make you forget about it's curly nature for a few hours.' And then I'm just like 'Okay then, what's next Stacy? what do I do now?" She panted a little bit from her short rant and Yakko held back a laugh. "What? I like the curly hair. It's so fluffy." He pets at it, and she finally broke. Carrie finally accepted her feelings for the toon and gave him a kiss on the cheek. Yakko's eyes turned to hearts as he melted into a puddle. Carrie looked at him and then to the Audience and blew a kiss. "Goodnight Everybody!"
