Newt is outgoing, protective, temperamental, and kind of insanely attached to people and things. For one, his studies are extremely important to him, but so is his second cousin once removed. (which is your cousin's kid) He is dedicated to what he puts his mind and heart to. He's pretty honorable, but he's in Griddlefang specifically because of his temper and harsh demeanor.
