Mortals

Zamasu was in the kai's world serving his master some tea. He was chosen to be a former new Kai to look after the earth which he wanted to NOT do at all. You see, Zamasu feels as if humans were bad to treat the earth such cruelty that he wanted to execute them so that there would be no more to harm the earth.

"Why does Gowasu want me to protect those filthy mortals? They are nothing but cruel creatures that harm the earth-they should be extinct." Zamasu said as he glared at the ground visioning what the human population would be like if they have no longer existed, but the world is growing safely and taken cared of.

"Zamasu?" He heard is mentor Gowasu called him.

"Yes, master?" He asked.

"Remember what we talked about during our conference about human life and the animal's habitat?" Gowasu asked almost churning Zamasu for making him think about the humans again.

"Yes." He nodded.

"Well then, I have set up an appointment for you so that you can experience that life." His mentor said that shocked Zamasu.

"W-What...b-but master-"

"Relax Zamasu. I know that this may be odd for you to handle, but it is to help you know that humans are more likely cruel and yet are good to even help settle the world." Gowasu reassured.

"...If you say so, master." Zamasu looked away with his arms crossed.

"I'm glad to hear it. Come, they are waiting for you." He said as Zamasu followed his master back to the shrine where he would be meeting with this 'mysterious person'.

Once Zamasu and Gowasu arrived they were surprised to see a blonde-haired girl, blue eyes, wearing a blue dress with triangular/teacup patterns, her shoes were high heeled with stockings and she wore short gloves. She was running around trying to catch a hopping tea pop and teacup that was magically playing around with her. How?

"Ooh! If you tea particles don't stop running I'm gonna-" She paused when she noticed the two standing by watching as she waved anxiously before her attention went back to the tea set. She snapped her fingers to summon a rabbit looking at the clock to see that he was running late for a tea party indeed. He noticed the tea set running around as he quickly grabbed them and set them on the table very nicely before another snap from the girl's fingers made him disappeared.

"Uh,  sorry you both had to see that." She giggled making Gowasu chuckle a little as Zamasu rolled his eyes.

"Greetings on this fine evening miss..."

"My name is Adele Jean good sir." She shook his hand very excitedly as she glanced over at Zamasu.

"I am Gowasu and this is my student in training, Zamasu." Gowasu introduced as she gripped Zamasu's hand happily to shake but he snatched it away giving her a disgusting glare.

"Unhand me, mortal!" He growled.

"Zamasu! That is no way to treat our guests." Gowasu scowled.

Adele stared at him and giggled, "It's okay. I get that a lot and I'm used to it." Adele giggled.

'How someone like her is so...cheerful?' Zamasu thought.

"Now then, Adele is going to be your physical trainer for 2 months and is going to make you be involved around humans to watch and learn about their ways of helping the earth. She is going to respond back to me if there are any situations going on and that means you cannot slip away or go pass her. Is that clear?

"*Sigh* Yes, master."

"Good."

"Zamasu, you're going to love coming with me to the human world!" Adele emphasized as Zamasu scowled at her smile wishing he could just wipe it away.

Zamasu seems to be disliking Adele for entering the kai's world, not only that she is going to be watching over him while he is staying with her. Will he eventually get to know more about Adele later on? Find out next time on Carousel!
