Hana had barely slept. When she did, she had dreams of the carousel with it's beautiful music beckoning to her like  a lover who wanted attention. Each time she had opened her eyes, she had come face to face with Jimin as he was turning her away from the front door and guiding her back to her bedroom.

By the time it was light outside, she was sat at her kitchen table feeling completely worn out as she sucked back a mug of coffee so strong it might have melted the spoon if she had left it in the liquid any longer.

Jimin looked equally as wrung out as Hana, but had a fierce look of determination making his handsome features look a lot more harsh.

Taehyung's was obviously more rested, but looked worried.

"I still think it's a bad idea to let Hana back into the fairgrounds," He muttered as he nursed over his mug of coffee, "It's too dangerous,"

"He can't do anything during the day with that many people," Hana soothed him, "I'm safe,"

"You don't know that!" Taehyung slammed his hand on the table, making coffee slosh all over the wooden surface, "If the ringmaster is some kind of demon, how do you know you're safe? You don't! He could have all kinda of tricks!"

"But you'll be with me, right? We are going to go like we did before and just pretend,"

"Whether you go or not," Jimin interrupted Taehyung as he opened his mouth, "I am going. I will save my Beau and I don't fucking care if you are with me or if you hide under your bed like a goddamn baby,"

Taehyung's face flushed with anger, "We all know why you're helping Hana," He snapped, "You need her otherwise you couldn't get her back. You're using us,"

Without warning, Jimin reached out and grabbed Taehyung by his shirt, dragging him half over the table, ignoring the mugs of steaming coffee.

"You bet your fucking ass I'm using you," Jimin's voice was low, "Just like you're using me to save Hana. I don't want to see her with a pole through her body, either, but you're right. Bee is my priority,"

Taehyung tried to pull away but Jimin held tight, his fists turning white he was gripping his shirt so hard, "You have no idea what my life has been like," He continued, "You don't know how it feels to have the love of your life ripped away from you but have nobody believe you. You don't know how it feels to be called insane when you're perfectly fine and know the truth. You don't know anything about me or my life, yet you judge me from your high horse when you are doing the exact thing I am,"

Jimin released his grip and Taehyung immediately pulled back, "You don't understand how it feels to be misunderstood,"

Taehyung paused before speaking as he straightened out his shirt.

"I understand... No matter how much you tell people that you're not crazy, nobody is going to believe you,"

Jimin took a breath and smiled a little.

"Yeah. I'm crazy in their eyes, therefore everything I say is nonsense... even if I'm telling them that I'm not insane,"

The air had cleared a little so Hana took a deep breath, "Even if our motives are all different, we need each other," She said, "And we need to go back to that fair whether it's dangerous or not,"

Hana swallowed the rest of her coffee in one gulp, "I'm going to get ready, please don't kill each other while I'm gone,"

Hana quickly left the kitchen and headed into her bathroom for a quick shower. Once on her own, her mind quickly began to focus on the carousel again - particularly on Beau and how her eyes had shown fear and resilience as she faces off with the demon ringmaster.

She rinsed herself and shut off the water before stepping out with a sigh.

"I will get you free," She promised the image of the unicorn in her mind, "I'll set you all free,"
