Chapter 2

Kyliee

I wore a cloak over myself with the hood and I got into a tree and laid down on a branch, using my hands as pillows and I rested my eyes for a little while. "You sure there'd be no one around here, babe?" I peeked an eye open and saw two teens walking into the forest.

"Of course, sweetheart." The male one said and I tilted my head a bit in confusion. I watched them as they were walking into the woods. I growled slightly in curiosity and glided across to different branches. I followed them till they got to a campsite and I tilted my head a bit. The firepit wasn't combed or dug around and I huffed before heading to the lake nearby and collecting some before heading to the campfire and I had the water dropped on it to put out the flames. After that, every one of the campers were yelling at each other and I smiled a bit.

Eventually, night came around and I went to go get some food from them and they especially had sweets, grapes, chips, and other foods. I spotted some spicy foods though and avoided tbem. Oh yeah, and they were all asleep, so I could have the food. One thing about me is that I always looked for anything that people sometimes end up leaving behind and took the food with me to where I usually stayed and started eating.

After eating, I rested for a little while in a tree. I eventually woke up and headed to the lake again. I walked to the middle of it and rested my eyes before looking up at the night sky. I took a deep breath and then let it go, shutting my eyes and shutting out everything else around me. I began to dance ballet style on top of the water, keeping my eyes shut to help me concentrate more on my movement.

When I finished, I stared around for a moment and it was like I was elsewhere like a stage with an audience ahead until it all went away into dust. I was catching my breath a bit, despite not actually breathing. I frowned a bit and headed to wander the woods a bit.

I eventually ended up at the outskirts and saw an old house and I became curious and screams left before there was silence. I tilted my head in confusion and headed to it and got in through a secomd story window. There was red liquid everywhere on the walls near the people and I walked up to the heads of them and saw their eyes were closed. Why are they sleeping? I wondered and I poked at their cheeks only to phase right through it. I yelped a bit and stared at my hand.

After a moment, the door creaked open slightly and I stared for a moment before going around the bed and looking to see no one and I quietly began walkkng acdoss the floor. It was kinda cold, but I didn't care for it, since I was used to it. I leaned out the doorway and I saw a long hall that led to a staircase. I blinked a couple times before heading to the stairs.

I made sure to keep the footsteps slow so I could investigate the rooms a bit and when I found another bedroom that looked very tomboyish with rock band posters and whatnot decorating the room, so I went into the room and sas the closet. I opened it and saw a bunch of hoodies and shirts, so I took off my cloak and I took a hoodie from the hanging shelf and put it on. It was very much too big for me, that I felt like I could just get on my knees and pull a turtle move by hiding in it completely.

My arms were a little more than halfway in the sleeves, the hood covered over my eyes, and the the main part of the hoodie reached my knees in height length. I used my hands and tried to lift the hood from my head and suceeded. I giggled a bit and flapped my arms like I was flying. I then decided to take it off and I lid it nicely on the bed. I didn't even bother with looking at the design of it, as I kept looking around the closet.

I sat on the chair and had my cloak put back on to hide my wings. I then sighed and put mh head down as I started to think about my mom and Jackie. Especially Jackie. I just up and vanished on hjm and I felt extremely horrible about it. In fact, that was actually why I kept to where I was mostly in the woods.

"Who's in here?" I heard a woman call as she was walking towards the room I'm currently in and I became startled and flew to the window and opened it. A woman came in the room, but I didn't get a good look at her when I opened the door and jumped out onto the roof and I flew a distance intk the woods before stopping and hiding behind a tree trunk while I stood on a branch.

I was just trying to process everything that just happened now. I then sighed to calm myself down and leaned against the tree trunk while resting my eyes. I decided to head back to my home and I walked there just for a casual stroll. I may be barefoot, but I actually preffered it over wearing shoes. When I got to the cave I stayed at, I curled up on the ground and it started raining. I curled tighter to try and keep myself warm.

"I miss you, Jackie. . ." I muttered, shutting my eyes tightly and the wind blew which didn't help me get warm. I went and decided to grab something from my stash to eat. I eventually heard footsteps in the woods and I looked to see the woman from the house. This time I could actually tell what dhe looked like.

She had dark brown hair and eyes with pale skin and freckles. She was wearing a hoodie that was probably similar to the hoodie I tried on earlier and some camo pants. I ended up hiding behind my stash.

The woman came up to the cave and she smiled, notiving me. "So you're the one that was at the house earlier?" She asked and I nodded slightly. "I don't bite. It's fine." She said and I peeked out a bit more.

I then stepped out from behind the stash and kept my hood where it would still hide my face. She came up to me and started taking off my cloak, but I backed away when the button unlatched halfway, cause I didn't want to show my wings. I was kinda self conscious of them and if they showed, then somebody was sure to figure it out that I was dead.

"Something wrong?" She asked and I stared away for a moment before she seemed surprised while looking down. I glanced to see parr of my wing stuck out from under the cloak and I froze a bit before I quickly covered it up. "It's alright. I won't judge." She said and I glanced at her for a moment before I decided to just let her see my wings. They were folded so they would drag on the ground when I walked around. They were purple with some pink glowing highlights and some pretty markings that were just like the wings Jackie bought me when it was the Halloween Party day at school.

She seemed a bit surprised that the wings were attached to me so I could use them to fly around. I just waited for the judgement to happen now. She smiled though, and I wasn't sure what kind of smile it was. It was definitely different from what the bully's smiles were like.

"Why would you think I'd judge them?" She asked and I looked up at her. "Come on. I know where you can stay." I blinked a couple times in surprise and she began taking me to a part of rhe woods I haven't been to before and I saw some children's drawings on every other tree.

We eventually got to a house that was in the middle of the slight open and I became a bit curious as she started taking me inside. I put my cloak back on, but I kept my hood off at least. Once we got inside, I saw a few people on the couch.

One of them was a girl with long brown hair and green eyes and she wore a croptop with a black leather jacket and black jeans with black boots. Another was a guy with long black hair, carved smile, dark eyes, white hoodie, black jeans and boots as well and the last one wore blue jeans, yellow jacket, and a white mask with black eye holes and it almost looked like he was wearing black lipstick as well.

"Angie! You're back!" The girl exclaimed happily as she jumped up from the couch and hugged the other girl that brought me here, I guess Angie? This is the first I heard her name so no judging me. "And who's the little cutie?" The girl asked and Angie smiled.

"Well, I kinda just found her in my parent's house earlier actually. She ran off into the woods afterwards, and I thought I'd have her brought here until I can find her a home to live." She said and I stared ip at her.

"We'll take it up with Slendy then!" The girl exclaimed and I looked between her and Angie.

"I-" I noticed Jackie and he wasn't colorful, but he was colored in shades only between black and white. I still recognized him though and I smiled before running up to him.

"Jackie!" I exclaimed and jumped into a hug, making him surprised

"Kyliee?" Jackie said before he smiled and hugged back.

"You know her, LJ?" The girl from before asked and Jackie looked at her.

"Yeah. I was her imaginary friend for a while. But what happened?" Jackie asked, looking at me. I knew what he meant and I pulled away from him.

"I sorta got killed at the school. . ." I said simply and he raised a brow.

"There's no sorta when it comes to you being killed, Kyliee." He said and I rubbed my arm.

"I know, but I tried to stay in one spot the best I could after it." I said and he smiled a bit at me.

"How about you go ahead and show her around then, LJ?" I looked at the brunette and he had a smile.

"Alright." He said and he led me upastairs, which I happily followed.

Savannah

"So you decided to offer LJ to show a little girl around? Lazyass." Anna said and I growled a bit.

Shut up, Anna. She'd obviously feel more comfortable around someone she knows rather than someone she doesn't know.

Anna was my more evil split personality, since I have a split personality disorder. I sat on the couch again between Jeff and Masky.

"Arguing with Anna again, sis?"

"Yeah. She called me a lazyass."

"Remind me to beat her up later." Jeff said and I raised a brow at him.

"You realize she'll just hand the light right back if you tried to beat her, right?" I asked and he growled a bit.

"Forgot about that. . ." Jeff muttered and I laid back.

"Not to mention, whatever injuries you make on Anna will just get on Savannah as well, or did you forget that too?" Masky said and I looked at him.

"I didn't!" I sighed to myself as the two started arguing with me right in the middle and then Anna took over.

Anna

"You two figure it out yourselves!" I said, getting up and heading to my room.

"Thanks for the small save. . ." Savannah said and I sat on the bed.

"You're lucky I didn't try to kill Jeff or Masky for ya. You're welcome."

"Geez, don't go killing my brother! He's technically your brother too!" Savannah yelled and I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah, yeah." I said and I plopped on the bed in a starfish position. "Just remember to keep on your side of the brain." I said simply and rested my eyes.
