Chapter 19

Kyliee

I was in the woods and I was looking around for a bit just so that way I got around to being able to move around a bit. I smiled once I saw a girl sith a purple hoodie and black hair that had purple tips and held up by a red ribbon. I tilted my head curiously and I quietly climbed the tree I hid behind. When I got up the tree, I saw that the girl was crouched in front of a sleeping body and I blinked a couple of times, curiously.

She pulled the knife from his chest and I must've leaned too far cause I nearly fell off, but I yelped while clinging tightly to the branch and had tightly shut eyes.

"Who are you, cutie?" I heard her ask and I slowly turned my head to look at her.

"K-Kyliee. . ." I muttered shyly and she smiled.

"That's a cute name for a cutie!" She exclaimed. "So, why are you hanging from a tree branch?" She asked with a smile and I glanced at the branch and I looked towards the ground and I yelped before tightening on the branch.

"S-So I d-don't fall, I-I guess. . ." I said simply and she smiled.

"It won't hurt, silly." She said and she reached up and geabbed me around my torso and pulled me off, making me a bit more scared, but I didn't fall onto the ground at least. She set me down and I realized that she had a carved smile, kinda just like Jeff's and the blue eyes as well.

"Nina!" I looked to see Savannah, Jeff, Liu, and Masky.

"Wait, what?!" Jeff got into a panic, immediately.

"There you are~!" Nina exclaimed, now running after Jeff who kept trying to stumble away from the girl.

"And there she goes. . ." Savannah said nervously.

"Did you pick up a camera by any chance, Savannah?" Masky asked, while Liu stood behind him.

"No, and I'm hoping Brian's somewhere nearby at least. So, what are you doing out here, Kyliee?" She asked and I smiled a bit.

"Well, I just thought I'd wander around a bit and then I came across that girl chasing Jeff. Is she your sister?" I asked curiously and Savannah gave a nervous expression.

"Uhm, actually, very far from it. . . It's more like she's a fan of my brother's." She said and I heard Jeff continue screaming as he suddenly got tackled by the girl. "Well, an obssessive one, at least. . .Anyway, I was originally going to introduce you two once we got to the mansion, but that girl is Nina the Killer." She said and then she got up, fixing her dress before yelling in Nina's direction. "Nina! He's drunk so play a little more chase while we head back!" I yelled and then Jeff yelled next.

"DON'T LEAVE ME ALONE WITH THIS WOMAN, SAVANNAH!"

"Okay~!" Nina called over at Savannah.

Savannah chuckled a bit as Liu gave her a look saying 'Seriously?'.

"I think it could've been better if it held off a little bit," Liu said and Savannah looked at him.

"Well, I may be a masochist for saying this, but I kinda find it funny." She said and Masky looked over at me and Savannah.

"It probably would be best if we all headed back anyway," Masky said and Savannah smiled.

"Alright then, let's go back, alright, Kyliee?" Savannah asked and I nodded slightly.

"Okay," I said with a smile. After a while, Liu, Masky and Savannah were all talking but I was spaced out in my thoughts.

It was mostly about my memories though and then the thoughts of my father. . . Just why did Daddy have to come see me a short time ago out of twelve years of my life. . .?

"Kyliee," I looked af Liu. "You alright?" He asked and I smiled with a nod.

"Yeah, I'll be fine! I've just gotta talk with Jackie and Mommy when I get home." I said and I heard a thud behind us and we all looked to see Jeff was tackled to the ground by Nina and she had the happiest look on her face.

"Got you~!"

"Get the hell off of me!" Jeff yelled into the ground, because his face was stuck into the ground.

"Just give in for your own sake, Jeff. . ." Savannah said, with a sweatdrop.

"Yeah, that's probably the best you can do when it involves her. . ." Liu said and I looked at them before staring at the ground.

"Tim, can you help me get Nina off of Jeff real quick?"

"Alright," He said and the two began to pull Nina off of Jeff and Liu made sure Jeff was alright.

After a while, we got to the hideout and Nina was hugging Jeff's arm and Savannah had a long conversation with Tim, who I never actually thought would have the capability to have long conversations with other people. Then again, he has known Savannah for a long time, so that might be why.

"Children," I looked at Slendy with everyone else in the room, Jackie included. "I won't be here for the rest of the week, so I expect all of you to behave while I'm gone." Slendy said and I blknked as Jackie grinned.

"That depends on your version of what you mean by 'behave',"

"I actually agree with LJ there, Slendy," Savannah said and I looked at her. "I mean, there's the two kinds of that word. My kind or Anna's kind."

"The only time I want to see any of you behaving like Anna then is when you decide to head out on hunts." Slendy said and Jackie chuckled.

"Alright," He said and I glanced at him before Savannah nodded.

"Well, I guess that gives it a gist,"

"Damn it. . .ow!" Jeff said and it seemed that he got a whack on the head from Angelica and a glare from Jackie. I didn't understand what was bad about what Jeff said.

"No cursing in front of the kid, Jeff," Angelica said and I blinked innocently.

"She's gonna learn that language anyway," Jeff said and Jackie kept his glare at Jeff.

"It doesn't mean that she should be hearing it, especially from you," Jackie said and I looked over at Jackie.

"What's wrong with what Jeff said?" I asked and Jackie looked at me.

"He just said words that aren't meant to be used. So don't go using them, okay, kiddo?" He said and I smiled.

"Okay!" He smiled happily before putting his hand on my head and ruffling some of my hair a bit, making my eyes shut while his hand ruffled my hair.

"Good," He said and when he paused, I glanced up at him with a smile.

"I'm not a pet, Jackie," I said with a smile.

After dinner, I went to my bedroom and I laid in bed under my covers and Splendy and my mommy were both in the room and Splendy tucked me in while Scorpio jumped up onto the bed and curled up next to me after I was tucked in, as to not have interfered with it.

"Good night, Kyliee," Splendy said with a smile and he backed away a bit as I smiled.

"Nighty-night, Splendy," He smiled more and my mother walked up next to the bed once Splendy walked back. She kissed my forehead and I smiled.

"I'll be back in here soon, okay, butterfly?" She said and I smiled.

"Okay, mommy." Mommy smiled and she left the room with Splendy. I turbed to face Scorpio and I cuddled her, which she didn't mind.

"Night, Scorpio," I said with a smile and she licked the side of my face, making me giggle a bit and I yawned as she rested her head on my pillows and I buried my face into the fur on her side.

The next morning, I woke up and Scorpio seemed to still be asleep and I felt a dog head on my arm and I opened an eye slightly to see Smile had his head relaxed on her back, which also happened to be over my arm and I smiled a bit before carefully and quietly moving my hand from between Smile and Scorpio before crawling from out of bed and I went to the closet and changed my dress to one that was similar, but it had a bow around the waist and I decided the bow was a bit much, so I took it off again, so I was just wearing the dress.

I then slipped my shoes on and left out of the room quietly before I began heading downstairs and out of the mansion. I walked through the woods and found the town and I smiled, walking to it.

I saw James and I smiled before rushing over and I tackled him happily. "Koala!" I exclaimed and James seemed shocked for a moment before seeing me and I got off of him as quickly as I tackled him with my wings fluttering a bit behind me.

"Oh, it's you, Kyliee," He said and he turned to fully face me.

"Hi, James," I said with a smile. "I was looking for you!" He seemed surprised.

"You. . .were?" He asked and I nodded with a grin.

"Yup!" After a bit, he took me into a restaurant and he grabbed himself some food and I passed, since food wasn't exactly a requirement for me.

"What'd you want to see me about?"

"I wanted to ask," I glanced at the table, nervously. "What werd you trying to tell me. . .the night I died?" James froze for a moment before he glanced away, almost looking upset in his eyes.

"All I can say, is that I blamed Trevor for a lot of that reason," He said and I looked at him.

"Trevor? You mean your friend?" I asked and James nodded.

"Yeah. He was going to do something against you and it was somethjng you wouldn't have liked, so I thought it best to try to help you, but. . ." He clenched the sides of his head and shut his eyes, tearing up. "I got shot and went into a coma after watching you die. . .it became a hell on a loop fhe whole ten months I was in a coma. . ." He said and I felt my chest clench in on itself from the guilt of bringing it up. I remembered what Anna said what Hell meant.

A place where people are punished for misdeeds and such and go through worse punishments than anyone on earth could muster. She never specified what kinds of misdeeds were involved for sending a person there though. . .

"I'm sorry. . ." I said as I felt tears fall down the sides of my face, but they were still the red liquid.

"It's not your fault. . ." James said and I stared at him for a moment. "So don't cry, okay?" He said and he woped his own tears before smiling.

"I-I. . .I can't help it," I said as the tesrs continued to fall and my voice cracked a bit into a whine. "My non-existant body is doing this against my will. . ."

"Uh. . ." James stared at me for a moment. After a while, I managed to stop crying blood and crying in general.

"Anyway, so where've you been? Ever since you met Jeff and left, you didn't come back," I asked and he looked at me.

"I had some things I needed to take care of."

"Like?"

"My parents. My father took my mother somewhere though and it seems they moved somewhere else while I was in a coma." He said and I stared at him for a moment before glancing away.

"I only ever knew my mother. I never knew my father." I said and James stared at me.

"Yeah. I heard." He said and I put my hand over my elbow.

"I don't know what happened with my father, but. . .he scared me. I don't know why," I said and James stared at me for a moment.

"I wouldn't know either, but there's only one person who can explain the details," James said and I glanced at him. "And it's most likely to be the person who was most involved with him."

"Like who?"

"Maybe your mother would be a good start," He said and I stared at him for a moment before glancing down at my lap.

"Okay,"
