Chapter 16
Kalani
I was with Liliana and I looked at her. "How exactly did you contact your father?"
"You forget, Kalani?" I took my axe off of my shoulder and spun it on my hand.
"More like I'm confused, since you never use a phone." I said simply and she giggled a bit.
"Then it's a secret until you remember." She said and I raised a brow at her.
"Really? You had no problems telling before!" I yelled as a growl left my throat and I swear my wolf ears and tail popped out for a second when I yelled at her. She simply probably would've stuck her tongue out cutely if it weren't for the fact she only showed her eyes and mouth when she showed she was beyond pissed, which was technically hard to do.
"You should at least be comfortable with the fact I'm keeping it secret till you remember." I growled with my brow twitching and I sighed.
"Fine. . ." I muttered before I continued walking.
Kyliee
After a while, I was sitting on top of a crate and my father was gone somewhere and I knew he wasn't in the warehouse. I heard the warehouse doors get slid open and I looked to see Jackie and I grinned. "Jackie!" I ran up and hugged him happily and he smiled, hugging me back.
"Hey, kiddo. Let's get you outta here, huh?" He said and I nodded with a grin.
"Okay!" I said and he picked me up, taking me away from the warehouse.
Seth
I was in the middle of the woods and it was in an opening as I heard a twig snap. I glanced back in the direction and saw nothing but as soon as I turned around again, I saw Irina and I smiled a bit. "Hello, darling."
"Don't you talk to me that way, you bastard." She said with venom in her voice and a steel-cold glare and I smiled more.
"It's adorable when you glare at me, love,"
"Don't make your hole any deeper than it already is! You hurt Kyliee and I swear I'll kill you all over again." She said and I got close to her face.
"And why's that? She's become to fragile to everything so as her father, I may have toughen her up a bit." I said, walking around Irina and I rested my eyes as I stood behind her a short distance.
"She's just turned twelve! You can't expect her to not be sensitive!" She yelled and I looked at her.
"If I recall, she's actually fifteen."
"That's why I always think you're just an asshole who cares about nothing but himself." She said and I glanced back at her to see her expression held nothing but anger at me. "She died three years ago and you wouldn't even know cause you never would pay attention. Even after you tried to kill her when she was barely a month old!" At that remark, I suddenly saw a giant monster in a rainbow colored polka-dotted suit and he had shadowed eyes and a large sharp-toothed frown.
"You tried to kill Kyliee?" He asked and his voice sounded torn and grim and Irina looked up towards him.
"It wouldn't matter to either of you now, since I still have her and if you want her back, you'll need me to still be in this puragatory, now wouldn't you?" I asked and Irina glared at me darkly.
"Give her back or I'll make sure you stay dead."
"I'm already dead, sweetie, so I was already in hell." I said and I suddenly saw tendrils come out of the monster's back and my tattoos on my arms glowed a blood red and I smiled before the monster ended up holding tighter on Irina and he then moved her behind him.
"Splendor," She said and he glanced at her for a moment before looking back at me.
"I won't forgive you if you ever hurt Kyliee. And you being her father, I'll make it infinitively more worse than if you weren't." I suddenly heard growling from behind me and I looked to see a giant human-like wolf come around from behind me and it growled while baring it teeth at me.
"I normally don't kill adults," I looked to see a black and white clown guy and he had sharp teeth and his glare seemed to be even colder than the others. "But I can make you an exception."
"And I may kill a lotta innocents, but I don't tolerate asshole jerks like ya," I looked to see four people on the other side of where the clown appeared and the one who spoke was a woman with brown hair and green eyes and she held a dual daggers in her hands while the ones standing next to her was a guy in a yellow hoodie with a black mask that had red eyes and red frown sewn in, a guy with a tan jacket with no hood and brown hair that went slightly over his white mask that looked like he had completely black eyes and black lips, and then a guy with goggles, a mouthguard, and a jacket, with brown hair.
"So choose wisely on how you approach Kyliee from now on." A man similar looking to the monster currently holding Irina said only he wore a tuxedo and I could tell he was glaring at me, despite having no face at all.
"I think I'd prefer to do it myself,"
Anna
"I think I'd prefer to do it myself," LJ said as Jeff and Nathan walked up next to him. I had my weight put more onto one leg and I smirked.
"Course you would, Jack." I said and then I felt Masky glance over at me. "But, I feel like as Kyliee's mother, Irina should be first in striking him." I said with a sadistic smirk and a dark look in my eyes. Which is my second most concerning look for rhe other party.
"Seems fair to me," Nathan said and he had his pipe over his shoulder.
"Think with me as you all want. But, I've made a deal with the devil." He said and his tattoos on his arms glowed brighter. "Now if you'll excuse me, I have to see my daughter." He said and a red flash happened and Masky quickly hugged me and got in front of me to protect me since a harsh blast of a wave, causing some of us to get knocked over. Turns out, Splendy did the same with Irina.
When it went away, Masky let me go and Kalani had started whimpering a bit and shaking her head like she was trying to get a ringing noise out of her ears, since they were folded back and she wouldn't stop trying to rub them with them against her head.
"Hey, Jack," LJ looked over at Irina and Splendor lost his scary look completely as he looked at her as well.
"Yeah?" Jack asked, looking over at her.
"Where is Kyliee? Weren't you supposed to go get her?"
"She's with Lily and Angelica back at the mansion now, so she'll be safe." He said and Nathan smiled.
"I made sure of it, since Viviana is there too and she can sense when someone enters a property she's in and can keep track of then from there." Nathan said and I smirked a bit.
"Makes sense," I said before handjng the control back to Savannah.
Savannah
I felt my face heat up when I noticed that Masky was hugging me and I looked up at him for a moment. "Uh. . .Masky, why are you hugging me?" I asked and he seemed to freeze for a moment before he let me go for a moment.
"Oh, sorry," He said, letting go and I smiled a bit.
"It's fine, Masky," I said and Slendy looked at all of us.
"Let's return back to the mansion." He said and I looked over to Slendy and nodded a bit.
"Alright." I said and we all left to the mansion again.
"Savannah," I looked at Irina, since I was falling behind everyone else. "Mind if we talked for a moment?" She asked and I blinked curiously before smiling at her.
"Sure. I've got time." I said and I went to the lake with her.
"Where did you find this place?" She asked and I smiled.
"Well, this is the closest lake to the mansion and there's quite a few lakes here in these woods. You'd be surprised." I said and I sat down. "Come sit." She nodded with a small smile and she sat like people do in Japan.
"Thank you." She said and I raised a brow.
"Why do you sit like that? Doesn't it bother you?"
"It's become habit after spending some time in Japan as a child, though I was only there for about a couple of months while our home was under renovations." She said and I smiled.
"Alright," I said before getting in the same position as her and she chuckled.
"You don't have to sit in the same position if it's not comfortable, dear," she said and I puffed my cheeks.
"Yes I do, cause it's called sociatal communicational respect!" I exclaimed, with a wink and I stuck my tongue out a bit, sjnce I was just trhing to act a bit silly.
"Quite a few long words in that sentence." She said and I smiled.
"Yup! Anyway, what did you want to talk with me about?" I asked curiously.
"I was wondering. You seem like a really sweet girl and I was wondering why you were brought here. . ."
"Well," I looked towards the sky thoughtfully. "I kinda wondered the same thing for a long time, actually." I said and she seemed a bit surprised. "I mean, sure I seem like I kill people, but that's not me and it almost never has been," I said with a small smile as I looked at the lake water.
"It hasn't?" She asked and I shook my head.
"No. When I was about. . .I think I was sixteen, I ended up realizing I had a split personality disorder, so having another personality made things pretty difficult for a while but two years later, it's gotten better when we finally decided to be able to communicate things between each other. Eventually, we met Jeff again."
"Again? You knew Jeff?"
"Yup. He's my brother." I said with a grin and she seemed surprised.
"He's your brother? You two look nothing alike though." She said thoughtfully.
"And our last names? They're both Woods, so it's not hard to discern that we're related. . ."
"A lot of people could have that last name." I blinked a coulle times before sighing with a shrug.
"Good point. . ." I muttered. "A lot of people could mistake it as that. Anyway, we don't look anything alike now, but we used to a long time ago. Though, I actually look pretty much closer to our older brother, Liu," I said and she smiled.
"Is he nice?"
"Yeah, he was." I said with a smile and her eyes widened.
"I'm sorry. If it helps, I've felt similar feelings for a moment in my life before." I looked at her. "A few months after Kyliee was born, her father tried to kill her." My eyes widened a bit as I stared at thd lake. "I didn't know what came over me, but I went up to him and I killed him. . .Kyliee grew up without a father after that point and I felt absolutely guilty. . ."
I smiled a bit as I remembered a story Slendy told me. "I know how that feels," I said and she looked over at me. "I got in an arguement with Jeff shortly after I came back. I was so mad, that I had nearly got the urge to kill him because he wasn't looking for me for how long I've been left alone. . .but when I left, I saw some kid beating up on another one and I snapped. Next thing I know, my hands and clothes are covered in the blood of a teen my age and the other kid ran away. . .I had beaten the teen till he died after a few strikes because I was kinda strong and with how I snapped, I just. . .let it all out. . .my frustration, anger, sadness. . ."
"How did it feel?"
"At the second, I felt relieved. . .but realizing I had killed him, I felt scared and I panicked. . . So, I ran back to the mansion and stayed hidden from everyone. That was the first and last time I killed anyone without Anna taking over my body, so it was pretty traumatic to me at the end of it." I said and Irina stared at me for a moment.
"I'm sorry about that. . ." She said and I looked at her with a smile.
"Don't be." I said and she seemed surprised. "Because after that point, Jeff came in when I was in the middle of trying to clean up, but I couldn't get the blood off for some reason. I had tried to keep everyone away still, but when Jeff saw me, I felt like I had no choice but to tell him. So when I told him, he said the blood stuck there because they were a bad person and it meant doing good for someone else, even if it meant me having killed someone else." I said and her eyes widened a bit as she looked at the lake water.
"I see. . ." She said and I looked over at her.
"Not to be off-topic, but how much longer can you sit like that?" I asked and she looked at me.
"Quite a while. Why?"
I began tearing up with a pout as I looked at my thighs with my hands clenched tightly. "My legs are starting to cramp. . .badly. . ." I muttered and her eyes went wide for a moment before she put her hands up towards me, but still kept them within her personal bubble.
"I told you, you could sit normally!"
