Chapter 13
Kyliee
I kept my hands on my lap nervously as James was pacing back and forth in the other room. I only knew cause I could hear his continuous footsteps moving in the same pattern.
I then got up and headed to the room that James was in and heard him muttering, but I couldn't make out what he was saying at all. I grew more concerned and knocked on the door, as I heard his pacing and muttering abruptly stop after I knocked. "James. . .?" I asked and I heard him walking to the door. When it opened, he was standing there with a blank look.
"Yeah?" He asked and I rubbed an arm.
"Can. . .can I have some chocolate?" I asked and he smiled a bit.
"Alright. I'll head out and get some, but stay here and don't leave this cabin." He said and I nodded a bit as he carefully walked past me and began leaving. I stared out the window and waited for him to be out of sight before heading to a room and I looked around for a minute, but didn't see Jackie's box before I remembered that I wasn't in Jackie's room or my old attic or bedroom right now. . .
I sighed and curled up, leaning against the bed before I heard a poof nearby. My eyes widened a bit and I looked to see Jackie come out of the closet. "Kyliee, what happened?! Where've you been?!" I didn't even answer before I ran up and hugged him. He seemed a bit surprised but hugged me back. "I was worried about ya, kiddo." He said with relief and when he pulled back a bit. "Next time you worry me like that, I'm not giving you anymore candy for a day." He said and I began punching him a bit, though I doubt they did anything.
"How could you threaten the sweets?! It's going to end up torturous if I can't be having sweets! If I have to suffer that consequence, then you have to as well!" I said and I felt him put his hand on my head and he pushed me back enough to make me quit punching him the way I was as he chuckled a bit.
"Alright, alright, kiddo. You seem a lot feistier than when I last saw ya." He said with a smile. I then stopped punching and he moved his hand from my head. "But seriously, where were you aside from your mission with Savannah?"
I rubbed the back of my neck as I glanced away for a moment. "Well, James brought me here, but he won't let me leave. . ."
"He won't let you leave?" He asked and he sounded more or less on the slightly angered side.
"D-Don't get mad, though. . ." I said quickly and he raised a brow.
"Why shouldn't I? He's locking you in here."
"It's more like he has me locked in here cause he wants me safe though." I said and Jackie stared at me for a moment before resting his eyes.
"Alright, but I'll be the judge if your okay to be around with him, Kyliee." He said and I shook my head.
"No, it's fine, Jackie. I know James. He's not a bad person on purpose, trust me." He stared at me again for a moment before sighing quietly.
"If you think so. I just don't want you hanging out with bad people." I raised a brow a bit.
"And. . .technically living in the same place as people like Jeff and Anna is any different?" I asked and he froze for a moment before sighing.
"You have a point there. . ." He said, hitting his forehead and I giggled a bit.
"I'll talk to him when he gets back then." I said with a smile and he looked at me for a moment.
"Just be careful then, alright?" I smiled a bit with a nod.
"Okay!" I said and I heard the front door opening. I looked towards it and headed out for a bit.
"Got you the chocolates, Kyliee." He said and I smiled a bit.
"Thanks, James. But, I'm sure I'll be fine in heading back." I said with a smile and he stared at me for a moment before he narrowed his eyes for a bit, making feel slightly scared.
"I can't let you. . ." He said and there was a knock on the door and I looked towards it. James grabbed an axe before heading to the door and the second he opened it, he swung it down, but it caught on something.
"Th-That a w-way you greet someone?" I became curious and looked to see a boy about Savannah's age and he had a mouthguard with goggles and a jacket and jeans.
The other one with him had a yellow hood and red eyes with a red frown. He also wore jeans as well. Jame's axe was blocked by the one with the goggles by a hatchet stopping the blade of the axe.
James seemed to glare for a moment before I went behind James and I pulled him back from the boys. "Stop it, James!" I exclaimed and he became a bit surprised and he looked at me.
"Wh-Who's this?" Goggles asked, sraring at me or a moment and I looked at him nervously.
"W-Well, I'm Kyliee. . ." I said and Goggles smiled a bit.
"So, you're the one I heard about?" He asked and I was a bit confused.
"Huh?"
"I've been pretty much in contact with Slendy at least and I heard about you being part of the groups." He said and I was pretty sure he smiled. James had his axe put down with the blade at the ground.
"What do you want?" James asked, glaring at Goggles.
"We came to check on Kyliee since she hasn't returned yet." The hoodie one said simply and I let James go for a bit to walk next to him.
"I think if it's safe that I told you who I was, it should be the same back." I said and the hoodie one seemed to cross his arms.
"I'm Hoodie, and this is the proxie idiot Ticci Toby. We basically work with Masky sometimes." Hoodie said and then Toby looked at him.
"H-Hey! I'm not an idiot! Jeff's more of an idiot than I am!"
"Well, maybe you rank higher in the idiocy than you think. . ." Hoodie said and I simply stared between them as they talked with each other.
"I do not!"
"You do, believe it or not." I realized they were going to go into an argument and I began tearing up.
"D-Don't fight. . .please. . ." I whimpered a bit and both of them looked at me for a moment and I felt arms go around me as James and I both looked to see Jackie.
"What are you two fighting about?" He asked, but it seemed like he'd hurt them if they ended up denying they were fighting.
"Uh. . ." Hoodie muttered and both of them were completely quiet.
"Kyliee, go to the other room, okay?" Jackie said and he put something in my hands and had me pushed into another room, making me blink a few times as I looked at what he gave me and it was an MP3 Player.
I had one before when I was ljttle and it was actually purple and this one seemed to be the same one. Same songs and everything. So, I smiled and went onto the bed and began drawing while listening to the music.
I sometimes heard Jackie's yelling, but I couldn't make out what he said and usually if he gave me something to drown sound out with, it was to usually keep me from hearing something I wouldn't want to hear.
James
"Why the hell were you two arguing in front of her?!" The clown yelled at the two and Toby pointed at Hoodie.
"He was calling me an idiot first." Toby said and I was a bit surprised that the clown would end up being friends with Kyliee, especially with how scary he kinda looked. He then looked at me.
"And what about you? Why are you forcing Kyliee to stay here?" He asked and I kept a stern expression though and I looked towards the ground.
"So she could be safe. . ." I said simply as the memories of every one of my hallucinations came to my head and I ran my hands through my hair and balled my hands into fists. "She died in front of me and I don't want it to happen again. . .my conditions will be worse if it happened again. . ."
"Your conditions?" Hoodie asked and Toby stayed silent with head tilted down a bit. The clown just stared at me with the same glare, if not it was probably worse.
"You were there?" He asked and I nodded slightly.
"Yeah. . ."
"And you couldn't protect her?!" He yelled and Toby and Hoodie both began trying to hold him back.
"LJ, calm down!" Toby said quickly.
"I was shot in the head and I at least kept her from getting raped before she died!" I said and the clown, LJ, froze for a moment, making Toby and Hoodie a little more relaxed, but they were still on edge.
"Did she know?" He asked with his hair covering his eyes. I looked away.
"I got shot before I could get two words out to warn her of what was going to happen if she went to that ballet room. . ." I said simply. Despite the fact mostly my emotions tend to go off the wall most times, I also tend to be very stoic about things, appearance wise.
"You're off of my radar for now. On the condition you let Kyliee leave when she wants and you hurt her, I'll be sure to be out to kill you, whether or not we're on the same side." LJ said and I looked over at him before sighing.
"Fine. . ." I said and I didn't like the idea of Kyliee being out and about while having no caution of anything, because she could potentially get herself hurt and I didn't want that. I just worried about her as a friend, but I began starting to think that in my obsession to keep her safe, it'd probably give the wrong signals rhan I wanted.
LJ walked to the room Kyliee was in and Hoodie and Toby stayed where they were after dealing with LJ.
Savannah
I was standing in front of a girl that had brown hair and blue and green eyes. I blinked a couple times and srared at her for a moment and her face structure reminded me a bit of Jane's but she had Jeff's blue eye. . .what the hell. . .? I grabbed her by the wrist and dragged her inside.
"Hey, Jeff?" I called and saw him on the couch.
"What?"
"Care to explain this?" I asked, having the girl stand in front of me. He ended spitting out the drink he had and coughed to keep himself from choking.
"Hi, Dad." She said with a grin and I blinked a couple of times as Masky had just came into the room again.
". . .well, she's yours to take care of for now, Jeff. . ." I said and she ran over, glomping onto him.
"The hell?!"
"HOW THE HELL DID I END UP A FREAKING AUNT?!"
"I should be the one asking that, Anna!" I thought as I went to town to go through for something.
After a while, I got to a backroom of a restaurant and went through a few questions and whatnot, so I got a day job, technically. I mean, being a killer is usually Anna's job anyway, so I kinda figure I'd have my own sort of one.
Kyliee
I was riding on Jackie's back on the way to the mansion with Hoodie, Toby, and James. Toby and Hoodie were ahead talking with James, but something seemed to bother Jackie a bit, so I got worried. "Jackie. . .?" He looked at me for a moment. "Is something wrong?" I asked and he smiled.
"Nothing you've gotta worry about, kiddo." He said and I figured he wouldn't want to talk about it, so I smiled a bit.
"Okay!" I said and he smiled a bit more before nuzzled into his back with a smile and I rested my eyes for a bit.
I felt most comfortable around Jackie for some reason, but I didn't mind, since I was used to him like family. When we got back to the mansion, I saw that a girl about James' age was there with Jeff and Masky. She had long brown hair and had a blue eye and a green eye.
"Who's that?" Jeff asked, looking at James.
