If there is something he can do on his own, he won't ask others to help him, nor will he ask them to accompany them. He's already put so many people in danger because he needed their help, and he doesn't want to make the same mistake again.

short backstory – Ever since the apocalypse, Travis has been alone. He's come across several survivors, but most of them weren't very friendly and didn't survive very long, even with Travis at their side. Travis doesn't like very loud weapons because the sound attracts zombies, so he usually carries a machete on him to protect himself. To hold the machete, he wears a belt that he found while looking through an abandoned clothes store. For a couple months now, Travis hasn't seen a single living person, and he's starting to think that he's the last one living...

SCENARIOS
scenario #1: Ever since the start of the apocalypse, you have survived on your own. It's been weeks since you have seen anybody living, and you're starting to lose hope. Your parents were torn apart by the ruthless zombies that came through your town, and your sister – well, she's nowhere to be found. You think that she may still alive and have been searching constantly for what seems like years, though it's only been three months. While you are passing through a small town nearby, you hear something. Being alone all this time has made your hearing and instincts sharper, so there's no doubt that you would hear the slightest noises all the time. But this time, it was different. This time, you can hear human footsteps running towards you from only a couple yards away. For a second, you think it may be your sister, but when you turn around, you see that it's a young man. His ragged appearance makes you think twice about staying put, but he's definitely human – what do you do?

scenario #2: It's been days since you've had food or water, and you are aware that you are getting weaker every second. The dehydration is getting to you really bad, but you have to keep traveling, or the zombie herd that you were running from for days before will catch up to you. You decide that you can't go on very longer and find a safe spot to rest, laying your head on the wall behind you and breathing harshly. Before you can pass out from water loss, you see a man coming up to you. He sees the condition that you are in and decides to help. He gives you his jug of water and says something you can't hear. What do you do?
